I think solution you are looking for is organizations in organizationDetail: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/create-queues-based-on-customer-details/#Organization-JQL-functions

For Confluence this feels like Groundhog Day. Didn't we try this before, and it was a disaster?
-
Thanks @Joseph Chung Yin that worked much better. It didn't come up in the Smart Values lookup, so I didn't realise that was an option.
-
BTW I've now applied this approach across both the image and hero tiles, to make full use of the available space either with text or the tile's images - like this:
-
* @3rdjkadjk Just create your content on a page and view the storage format https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-retrieve-confluence-storage-format-1014270532.html

Do guest users count towards marketplace app usage like paid users or do they get free access to app functionality as well?
-
Sorry - you're correct I thought that page also had the instructions about default space permissions, but it looks like that information has disappeared from the support pages or they've made it hard to find. If you are a Confluence admin, navigate to /wiki/admin/permissions/viewdefaultspacepermissions.action in your site.…
-
Assuming you are on a paid plan, you can set default permissions for spaces. See: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/customize-default-space-content/ BTW next time you should post this as 'question' 🙂
-
@Bill Rudy this is a cloud-only feature
-
This isn't normal. Have you raised this with Atlassian support?
-
Server and Cloud have completely different architectures when it's comes to customisation. If you want to use webhooks in Cloud, you'll need to use Connect or maybe Forge (although I don't know much about webhooks in that approach).
-
The short answer is yes. My News Board apps work this way (but using Connect, not Forge) - see News Board and News Board Lite. They have an option to use the app as a theme, which replaces the default overview page in a space with the news board page. You can then make that space your Confluence home page. I wouldn't use…
-
@Lennon Liao this is a nice feature, but its doesn't support macros that use the dialog module (in Connect at least, I haven't tested in Forge).
-
Confluence is a feature-rich product, so I'm not sure a few dot points will cut it. However, I suggest you start here https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/what-is-confluence-cloud/ And YouTube has plenty of videos, like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqg8o-ataIQ
-
That sounds like the real-time editor component is having problems. Are you using Confluence Cloud? Try this test to see it's an issue with your Websocket connection: https://websocketstest.com/ A windows client won't help if this isn't working.
-
@Howard Nedd Look for the "Share a link" template
-
Yes, but Connect and Forge aren't quite on parity so there might be things you can't do in Forge but can do in Connect. This will change over time, so if you are reading this in the future you'll need to check the documentation for the latest.
-
@Andy Gladstone maybe take a look at my app, News Board? I'm open to suggestions for functionality and lots of ideas on my app roadmap that might support making Confluence a gateway to other systems and knowledge. You can install my app as a theme on a site, then make it your custom site home page. Now that the new home…
-
@Shweta Singh sorry, I can't help (I'm tagged as a community leader, but I don't work for Atlassian). I'd suggest raising a support ticket in this instance.
-
@Marian Fudulache it might be easier on those occasions to use a (free) add-on like https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212654/render-markdown for those occasions That way, add the macro, then enter your links in Markdown format -e.g: * [duckduckgo](https://duckduckgo.com)<br>* [News…
-
There isn't really a (technical) solution for this - only space administrators can create or edit templates in Confluence Cloud. Perhaps you need to create a process for submitting templates for review by a space administrator so they can add them?
-
Since the original question was posted, Atlassian now supports 20,000 users in Cloud, and that will soon increase to 50,000. With that in mind, it probably is worth revisiting this question. The global search box function in a way that could be more contextual - i.e. start as a global search on the dashboard and other…

The unread indicator is now available on News Board, along with two other features: * Infinite scroll * News Board will now use the page header image in a page or blog if it finds one
-
Isn't the space sidebar (the left-hand navigation) your page tree? https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/improved-confluence-navigation/#ImprovedConfluencenavigation-Spacesidebar The sidebar also lets you organise your page structure (i.e. your TOC):…
-
It would be good if we could use an image already attached to the page for the header.
-
@Alexander Mages as @Dominic Lagger highlights, this isn't possible. I've used Confluence for the same use case and we have simply warned our customers that Confluence is a shared environment. People are professional and I've never had an issue. The only other thing I can suggest is that you set up multiple Confluence…
-
Sorry, the documentation is wrong - see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-69794 What you are trying to do isn't supported, although the editor does recognise some aspects of markdown syntax. (The header and footer is different, as its a legacy configuration and wiki markdown is the only way to use macros there).
-
I'm not aware of anything off the shelf that does this either or works for Cloud. Its going to be a lot easier doing this the other way, because unless the WP content is simple HTML, you may need to do some custom work to make it usable in Confluence Cloud anyway. Have you considered creating an addon and storing the WP…
-
The easiest way to do this is with the Include Page macro: Insert the include page macro | Confluence Cloud | Atlassian Support Otherwise have a look at Forge or the approach I describe in this article still works: How to create simple custom macros in Confluence C... - Atlassian Community
-
Go to the marketplace and try one of the markdown addons - you have a few options to choose from.
