Assuming you are on Confluence Cloud, this is a bug - the old section and column macros aren't compatible with the new editor. See https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-articles/2019-All-Wrap-ped-Up-Like-a-Present/ba-p/1235288/page/6#M1088 As some of you may have noticed and pointed out the old macros started to…

Have you looked at https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/customize-exports-to-pdf-724764825.html ? This has a link to the default PDF style sheet, which should give you a starting point to identify the classes and IDs. BTW Confluence content isn't stored as normal HTML, so inspecting via Chrome's developers tools is…

Unfortunately the Add page permission in a space gives users the ability to both create new pages and edit existing pages in this space - you can't restrict them to only editing existing pages or where they can create pages. This might sound odd, but makes sense when you consider that Confluence is a wiki, not a CMS /…
-
The left-hand navigation is based on the children of the page you select as your space overview (home) page - so you can either move your "hidden" pages to the root level (or in their own branch starting at the root) or move your overview page lower in the page structure. Note: This will only obscure them from the…

Try the Expand Macro
-
This is no longer possible with the new editor and the out of the box functionality. While you can add custom in-line images as emojis, as far as I can tell you can't turn them into links. You could try creating a custom macro to do this - see my article on "How to create simple custom macros in Confluence Cloud"…

See this issue https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-67745

This has been posted and tagged as "Confluence Cloud"

You have to insert them as custom emojis https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/use-symbols-emojis-and-special-characters-724764854.html#Usesymbols,emojis,andspecialcharacters-neweditorNeweditor

You will need plugin - something like this one maybe? https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215287/live-input-macros?hosting=server&tab=overview

Confluence doesn't really distinguish between internal and external users, so unless your administrator is prepared to setup accounts for people that are "external" there really isn't anything you can do. Space tools only lets you assign access to existing users.
-
I'd raise this with support - I can't see how / where this is replicated in the new editor either. Having said that, the out of the box templates need a complete overhaul IMHO.
-
You are out of luck if that's the case, as I don't believe there is an existing marketplace solution that meets all your exact requirements and works with Confluence Cloud. Most of what you have requested can be achieved in a light weight way with Cloud, such as using @ mentions or having users watching a space being…

Glad that helped. In regard to the layout, sorry, that's not easily done in Cloud - I don't know why this particular macro ignores text alignment in the editor, but its like this in the old and new editor alike.
-
Its probably an indexing issue?
-
Have you tried the ‘Page Tree Search’ Macro?
-
@Mary Connor the top bar becomes the global navigation, but the navigation (page tree) for the current space you are looking at remains on the left. See https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/new-confluence-navigation-978220550.html#NewConfluencenavigation-Spacesidebar

Yes, it can be a bit tricky to get started. There are some third-party add ons that might help, but another option is to ask your administrator if you can work with someone to create some "user macros" that can help you get more control over your layout. However, for this page you could try the Gallery…

Yes, your options are very limited if you aren't permitted 3rd party apps or user macros - and really, this is a short sighted decision, as a lot of the benefit of choosing Confluence is the ability to extend it. You can't put @mentions in the pick list (at least I've never seen that work). If you want to include a list of…

Can you show us the page - ideally when it looks correct and when it gets distorted?

Just checking, but Questions for Confluence wouldn't meet your requirements? https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/questions Otherwise, why not just use the general features of Confluence - unless a user chooses not receive notifications. Or use it in combination with Slack?
-
Testing in my instance, it imports into the old editor so I can't replicate this issue. But since we know that the new editor support inline images as custom emojis, the issue could be related to that. I'd suggest raising a support ticket.
-
Have you talked to your Confluence site's administrator about this, unless that is you?
-
If you are using Confluence Server, you should have a look at user macros. However, only an administrator can set these up for you. Using a combination of the Create from Template Macro (to insert the date into the title) and a user macro, you should be able to do this without 3rd party apps (assuming you can have the…

Are you able to create profiles in Chrome still? https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/2364824 You can be logged into Confluence under different accounts in each profile.
-
@Vince Swann some of what you've described is actually part of Confluence (server and Cloud) already. However, user macros in Confluence aren't quite the same as macros in the Office suite, so I'm not sure how that exact model would be applied to Confluence. It sounds like you are thinking of automation scripts? The issue…

That's actually the default dashboard page, now labelled as the activity feed or discovery page. A couple of options to consider: * Turn off anonymous access * Update the "Welcome to Confluence" message in the right hand column with something that directs them more clearly to login The only problem with the second option…

If you are using Confluence Cloud, no there isn't. It might be possible if you are using a 3rd party single-sign on solution.
-
At the moment, you have to add them as a custom emoji:

Do you know if the page is importing into the old or new editor? (How can you tell? See https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/confluence-cloud-editor-roadmap-967314556.html#ConfluenceCloudEditorRoadmap-Howdoyouknowwhicheditorapageuses? )
