You would be better off making use of multiple spaces and replicating the page structure, but using the Include Page macro to pull in the "master" version as necessary. It would be a bit fiddly to create manually to start with, but you could use the API to build it out.
-
The Page Properties set of macros are really useful, but they do have some limitations as you have discovered. You can either have multiple columns and 1 row of data OR one column and multiple rows of data. And on Cloud, there isn't much you can about formatting either.
-
I'm not aware of anything you can do in Cloud to influence search results. However, can you provide some examples of what you are trying influence?
-
You should be able to write your own User Macro to do this.
-
Yes, this is possible.
-
It depends - if you want update static content elements in your templates, you could try making use of the Excerpt Include or Include Page macros. However, if you want something more dynamic and includes editable elements, you'll need to check the marketplace for a 3rd-party solution or develop something yourself.

@Alison I think @Luise Weiser means she wants to create a text link to a file attachment, not a page. Unfortunately, this is no longer supported in the new editor in Confluence Cloud. However, please se this JIRA ticket - hopefully this functionality will come back in the future:…

This change was introduced with the new editor. Have a look at this page to understand all the differences: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/confluence-cloud-editor-roadmap-967314556.html#ConfluenceCloudEditorRoadmap-Featurecomparison There is a request to bring this back:…

Have you tried the "Shared links template"? https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/shared-links-template-937893685.html
-
There isn't a way to do this out of the box with Confluence Cloud, particularly if you don't want to give each of those users a paid subscription to your Confluence site. There is a solution in the marketplace called "External Share for Confluence", but I don't believe it will track who accessed the page. You could contact…

Yes, in the server edition of Confluence you have greater freedom to change the styling (CSS). No plugins required.
-
At this stage it is intentional in the new editor, but also because the new editor doesn't support inline images like the old editor. The only possible work around using out of the box features in the new editor would be add the image as a custom (inline) emoji, then you can apply text alignment to it.
-
This is a result of the introduction of the new editor, however they are planning to reintroduce this feature again - see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-65302
-
As you are using Cloud, there is no way to achieve this using out of the box functionality.
-
Sorry, I haven't used any myself to make a specific recommendation, but I did notice this one looks like it offers a global report on individual user views etc: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215565/page-views?hosting=server&tab=overview If a user was trying to export a lot of content, it should be obvious from…
-
Based on the "View all files" in the bottom left corner, that looks like the legacy file viewer. But I think you'll be better off raising a support ticket at this point, as something strange is going on.
-
Realistically, you can really only check after the fact and then use other legal mechanisms to prevent information theft. If they export a space, you should see this in the audit log. But you'll need to look for an add-on to track page views by individual users or embed a tracking mechanism of your own.
-
This isn't possible out of the box.
-
With the ongoing implementation of the new editor, there are some inconsistencies in the UI for attachment depending on how you preview it that might cause some confusion. However, either option should still allow you to download it. You might see either the legacy viewer: Or the new viewer (no tooltip): However, if you…

Out of the box there isn't anything else like the Page Index with more options. However, have you tried the Children Display macro? Failing that, if you added a label to all the pages you wanted to include in your index page, you could also try the Content by Label macro - this would give you a flat alphabetical list.

There are now significant differences between the editor in the Cloud and server editions that you need to be aware of - see https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/confluence-cloud-editor-roadmap-967314556.html You should also consider that any custom user macros or other add-ons will not work or may work differently…

Yes, this is due to the introduction of the editor. You should provide feedback on the following issues: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-67140 https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-67512
-
That's correct - images and file handling has changed completely in the new editor
-
No, there isn't anything out of the box to do this automatically. Generally, you let users decide what to follow and if they want to receive an email summary of changes.
-
Have you tried the Recently Updated Macro?

If you already have this experience, you might want to try the developer community instead of here https://community.developer.atlassian.com/ However, have you explored what the API can output? i.e. https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/#api-api-contentbody-convert-to-post Also maybe try…

The space blueprints can't be customised and the space content template just setups a consistent space overview (home) page when a new space is created. Also consider that as Confluence doesn't allow duplicate page names in a space, you might want to consider creating a space per customer. Otherwise, you'll need to (for…
