If you are only working with out of the box features your options are limited. But to make this task easier, you could try using an advanced CQL search to identify content matching your criteria. There is a free app called "CQL Search" in the marketplace that can help with this.
-
My marketplace apps News Board Lite and News Board provide a news page for Confluence Cloud sites that was inspired by contemporary intranet design. This is the default "look and feel" for News Board:
-
Agree with the suggestions from @Brant Schroeder @Joe LaBarre I know you said you aren't a superuser, but if you are prepared to learn a bit about Confluence Query Language (CQL), you could also try the free CQL Search add-on. It might make collecting the data you need a little easier.
-
News Board is now available on the marketplace!
-
It probably is, but the documentation part in Confluence is published using that tool.
-
As already mention by @Move Work Forward the wiki in Teams is very limited and in no way comparable to Confluence. There are a lot of Microsoft 365 customers that would like to see the wiki tab hidden.
-
They are stored in SharePoint not as pages but in a hidden SharePoint list.
-
They mean you don't need to download, open, edit, save, and upload as separate steps. The file always downloads.
-
It's not a macro - that site is published from Confluence using Scroll Viewport https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211636/scroll-viewport-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
-
No, this isn't possible out of the box if you are expecting an automated publishing process that overwrites one page with the contents of another. There might be some options in the marketplace to help with this or to achieve a similar outcome.

I posted that reply in 2018. However, last year I wrote an article with a bit more detail: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-Cloud-articles/How-to-create-simple-custom-macros-in-Confluence-Cloud/ba-p/1227422 Particularly as things can change, bear in mind that you may still find it necessary to dip into the…

I've just released the update to the original free version, News for Confluence Cloud, now known as News Board Lite. The new paid version, News Board, will be released next week! In this first version will be support for: * Featuring pages AND blogposts * Custom categories * Set your own custom colour scheme * The ability…

Do the smart links to Confluence pages work with the Excerpt macro at all?
-
I know it has been just over 12 months since you provided this feedback, but I'm now in a position to offer an enhanced (paid) version of this app - see: See https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-Cloud-articles/News-for-Confluence-Cloud-is-changing/ba-p/1453566 I have been thinking about your feedback and will…

That would be a good start or at least ensure your data can't easily be purged by any users after being moved to trash (delete) in a space. You might also want to consider creating a manual backup on a periodic basis: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/create-a-site-backup/ Note: You can run into…

I'm not a lawyer, so won't attempt to answer the legal part of your question, but technically speaking: * Do you own / administer the Confluence Cloud site where the content is being hosted? * Have you restricted their ability to administer the site, so they can't delete content permanently?

BTW here is the blogpost I mentioned, published yesterday: https://chieftech.com.au/post/hiam-sakakini-interview/ It is an interview with Hiam Sakakini about high performing teams and collaborative work management. Hiam is very qualified to talk about this topic, as she spent nine years working at Google to help develop…

Thanks @Tania Clarke - was asking for a friend and have passed those examples on.
-
@Tania Clarke are there any public case studies or examples of companies using Jira Service Desk to manage facilities requests?
-
+1 on @Sven Schatter _Lively Apps_ 's suggestion!
-
Thanks again for your comments! I've been working on another blogpost for this project, based on an interview with an expert who specialises in developing high performing teams, so I think you might find that interesting once I publish it (hopefully before the end of the week or early next week). However, during the…

Thanks again for your feedback. I'm interested in different perspectives, so definitely want to hear from people that have a business or marketing background. I like your suggestion that necessity has forced people to learn more about the tools, and that this may make the more integral even if people eventually return to…

Thanks @Samie Delebo - Your Gal at Gliffy I'll reply a bit later with some more comments, but if you would like to keep in touch about this research project, I can add you to my list of people interested?
-
Thanks @Hasna - it sounds like you are talking from a DevOps perspective, which is an important area that Atlassian is focused on, but your feedback is appreciated. I'm interested that you highlight integration and automation. It does appear to me that it's not enough to have a great tool for a team to use if it can only…
-
Nice one @Tom Keidar - that looks like a great addition to the marketplace.
-
Thanks, I understand. Unfortunately, solving this with out the box features and capabilities is beyond the scope of what can be answered here.

A list of the default macros can be found in the documentation: * Cloud edition https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/macros-724765157.html * Server edition https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/macros-139387.html

Atlassian has been rolling out this update to the navigation, based on user feedback. For background see https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-articles/New-navigation-and-Home-are-coming-to-Confluence-Cloud/ba-p/1211418 This explains how the new navigation…

You don't need to do anything, the link will always resolve. If you change the name of the page, the link text will change to reflect this as well. This is a key feature of Confluence. BTW if you want to create link that won't break from outside of your Confluence site, goto the "Page Information" for the page and use the…

It is already there. Label an attachment (like an image) https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/add-remove-and-search-for-labels-136419.html#Add,RemoveandSearchforLabels-Labelanattachment There are various macros that allow you to display or find content, such as images, filtered on labels.…
