There probably isn't a way to overcome the date issue, if you are using the out of the box macro and built-in templates. However, which template are you using specifically? To group the requests, have a look at the Page Properties and Page Properties Report macros…

Yes - use the search API and ask it to return the editor metadata in the results. As a starting point: wiki/rest/api/content/search?cql=type=page&expand=metadata.properties.editor You will need to page through the results if you have lots of content or add additional CQL filters to narrow the results, e.g pages for a…

Use Get content properties in the API: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/api-group-content-properties/#api-wiki-rest-api-content-id-property-get You'll see something like this returned if the page has been edited/migrated to the new editor: { "id": "1234567890", "key": "editor", "value": "v2",…

Links shouldn't break when you moved them in Confluence. Can you share a screenshot of what's happening?
-
I would suggest logging this request with support. There is a similar enhancement request here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-69486 But it doesn't cover your issue, for external links.
-
@Sergey Rodin yes, that's how it works. You give people access to a space and then restrict pages. Note that only view restrictions are inherited by child pages, but it means you can create a whole branch of content and limit them to certain users.
-
It is still possible in the new editor, but currently only by typing in the link - you can't use a slash command or the toolbar to do it. See Insert links | Confluence Cloud | Atlassian Support and scroll down to the section on Link to an undefined placeholder page: Type [Placeholder Page Name](). This follows the syntax…

@Steen Klingenberg there are very limited options for customising the look and feel of Confluence Cloud. You won't be able to change the styling of the overall interface. If you check the marketplace, you will find solutions that have attempted to mitigate this in some way, but they can't replicate the styling flexibility…

@DJ Chung are you talking about /wiki/home (the "dashboard") or Atlassian | Start page? Or something else?
-
You might be looking for the Table of Content macro? https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-the-table-of-contents-macro/ You may need to use a layout if you want the TOC on the right-hand side of the page.
-
The tree structure is only one part of your information architecture in Confluence. There isn't anything unique to Confluence about developing your tree structure, except to remember that each page title in a space must be unique. But you should also think about how you can use labels, spaces, and content layout in…

@Tanya Roitman if you are happy using Monday, then I can't see how using Confluence Cloud would be an issue. It would work for tutorials, onboarding, etc - better than SharePoint, which works better as a traditional CMS than a wiki. However, there are some blockers for then using Confluence Cloud as a way to find and…

@Philip Colmer I don't have any inside information, but as it is built on top of Amazon Web Service's Lambda function, any pricing would have to be relative to that cost? You would have to think it would then be hard to justify this for private apps with low (relative) usage. A more likely scenario might be they fine-tune…

PS since I wrote this article, Atlassian has released a new cloud development platform, called Forge: https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/forge/ The biggest hurdle for non-developers or power users will be installing the Forge CLI (command line interface) and using it to install your add-on. But if you can master…

Once you have created your group, you may also need to update the space permissions to remove groups or people that were automatically added when the space was created (based on the default space permissions configured). E.g. you might need to remove a group like confluence-users from your space permissions.
-
Your links will need to look like this for that to work: https://YOURSUBDOMAIN.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/createpage.action?spaceKey=YOURSPACEKEY&title=YOURPAGETITLE&linkCreation=true
-
In theory, yes, but not really. The way Server and Cloud add-ons work, the new Cloud editor, and the way content is stored is completely different.
-
You can't control that, but every page has a unique "tiny link" (short URL) available that doesn't change. When viewing a page, use the k shortcut key to get a link to the page and a popup will give you both standard and the short URL links.
-
The only way I can think of doing this out the box is to use labels and tag the server page with the OS it is using it (based on your example above). I would use this with the Page Properties Macros to generate a report on your OS page. Otherwise, you'll need to consider a third-party add-on (there are some in the…

"Now with Cloud they are gone." needs to be qualified. User Macros were never in Cloud, instead, we use the Atlassian Connect framework. It does have a higher barrier to entry than user macros, but is available to everyone if they want to write their own customisation. Now we have Forge (in beta atm), which reduces the…

The Visibility for Confluence add-on is available on Cloud.
-
Atlassian has been working on custom domains for cloud, but it isn't available yet. However, you could try something like Instant Websites for Confluence from the marketplace to publish a version of your site that is accessible to anonymous users.
-
You would need to move the confidential part to another page (say a child of the original page), then restrict access to that child page. Next use the except macros to include the confidential content back into the original page.
-
Can you share a screenshot of the macro parameters?
-
It would be good to have a guided setup, because there are some things you might only do once or infrequently - like the name, logo, categories, etc. But permissions and content management are more frequent tasks. Some of the groupings or labels don't make immediate sense, but it's not too bad. For example: * I'm never…

This is a supported app, so I would ask the vendor for help: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1222112/terrastruct?hosting=cloud&tab=support
-
BTW probably worth mentioning on this thread that in the last 12 months, Atlassian introduced another new cloud development platform, called Forge. It's currently in beta.
-
Yes, that's going to be a challenge. It will depend on what exactly those macros do. Can you share some examples of the least complex and most complex user macros you have?
-
You could use the Excerpt Macro to embed the links in other pages. Since you are on server, you also have the option to create your own User Macros to make it quicker and easier to add and/or maintain the links. For more on User Macros see https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/writing-user-macros-4485.html

There are some content management add-ons that might have this functionality or similar, although they may give you a lot more than you require - e.g. workflow or drafting. I can't tell you for sure, but I'd start with options like Comala Document Management, Scroll Documents for Confluence, and Workflows for Confluence.…
