Hi @Masoud Kherad This is strange indeed. Was that license still valid? You could try adding a valid license to the DB manually https://support.atlassian.com/jira/kb/how-to-manage-jira-data-center-license-using-database-queries/

I'm not aware of related changes but I personally had to rework some scripts because of deprecated API endpoints. have you tried calling the API endpoint manually (in your terminal or postman) with the same parameters and headers? Perhaps you'll find out that way.

I just realized this today too. It's difficult to explain to users they have 2 buttons to perform a status transition.
-
That's true! But the other answers made me realize there are still companies with concerns about Atlassian Cloud or SaaS solutions in general. Let's wait and see what the isolated cloud brings :-)

Hi David, I was looking for something similar. I need a workflow condition that checks a certain asset attribute. I found this feature request JSDCLOUD-14790: add ability to check against details of objects stored in Assets custom fields during transitions It's still "gathering interest". Vote and watch :-)

Yes! This is what I always use. Smart value documentation can be found here.

Hi Normann! Thanks for sharing HYCU, I did not know this solution yet. We are also looking into 2 plugins: Rewind and Revyz. And there is also GitProtect which seems more similar to HYCU. Charlie

Hi Vhee, I'm eager the learn more about isolated cloud. I watched the announcement it during Teams 25. I agree: cloud is the way. Setting up fresh DC environments will not be future proof in my opinion. kind regards, Charlie
-
Hi Paul, Thanks for sharing your feedback. I do hope Atlassian's isolated cloud will address the concerns companies like yours are having. kind regards, Charlie

Yes this works! It has also been documented on Authenticating OAuth 2.0 for outgoing web requests in Jira Automation rules

Hi @[deleted] You should see a reply arrow next to the like and emoji button under each comment. Note: this is only on Jira Cloud. On Jira Data Center this feature does not exist.

Thanks for sharing your feedback @G subramanyam I still prefer the 'GG' shortcut form Jira DC :-)
-
I use it all the time and when quickly navigating between pages it's quite annoying to end up in the search bar every time :-)

Hi @Mikael Sandberg Is this still working you for you today? When I try to flag a JSM work item via the crtl + k menu I get: "we couldn't flag this work item" The API call in my browser console shows a 403 - forbidden error with ""You currently don't have access to perform this operation.". It's also clearly using the API…

Hi @Feier Assigning an item is a separate permission from editing items. You should check the permission scheme of the project and look for the "Assign issue" permission. Only users/roles/groups with that permission can change the assignee. Note: there is also an "assignable user" permissions. This defines which users can…

@Omar Bennani This is actually great advice. I think the docuementation on Use workflow properties could be improved to explain what [.suffix] is meant for

Hello Suma In order to allow the upload of files the attachments field should be added to the view and edit screen of work items. I'm not sure what you mean by making this permanent. But if your question is how to make sure it is enabled on all screens/ work types I'm afraid there is no way. You really need to add the…

Hi @Amith Bhanudas Yes the username attribute in Crowd is also the username in Bitbucket. Whatever LDAP attribute you mapped to the username (sAMAccounntName in your case) will also be the username in Bitbucket. You can change the mapping to use email. When you update the username of a user in Crowd it will also pass that…

Hi @Antonia Is the resolution field on the edit screen of your work items? You can check this by looking at the screen scheme for this particular work type. Creating a JQL for each resolution is the way to go if you want to see where they are being used. You can also just press "delete" next to the resolutions (on the…
-
@Bob Dalm yes that's what I was thinking. The workflow property only applies for transitions. But it used to be impossible to edit the resolution without performing a transition. Did this change?
-
Hi @Antonia To be honest I'm not entirely familiar with the situation in your screenshot. Your work item is already closed and you click on the resolution to pick a value? Is that how you end up seeing those 6 values? Could you also share a screenshot of all resolutions in your Jira please? (the page where you manage the…
-
Hi @Antonia Yes that's possible! Your Jira admin can configure the workflow transition with a post function to set a resolution automatically. Of course, other resolution values can sometimes make sense. To limit the amount of available resolutions the workflow properties jira.field.resolution.include and…

Hi @Juraj Drahoš Did you ever find a solution for this? I have a similar case.

Hi Marcel and welcome to the Atlassian Community! A lot of emails are sent from info@e.atlassian.com. So not fake. Good to be careful :-) An example from 2 days ago:

Hi @Ajay Hinduja Please explain how your question relates to Atlassian or any of its third party app vendors. From you post I have the impression you created it here by mistake. This forum is only about Atlassian and related products. If you have general coding questions it's better to search for a relevant site on…

Hi @Bill Sheboy That's awesome! You really seem to know all the ins and outs of smart values and creative ways to solve more complex cases. You should write an article about it because this is very valuable information :-) I never used {{index}} and {{.}} for example. But it's really good to know this exists. Although I…
-
While your solution works I'm blocked because of this bug: [JSDCLOUD-12831] Automation smart value math functions do not work on the Assets object and field Integer attributes - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products. {{#varLoopValues.rightPad(varLoopValues.length.plus(varDateDiff),…
-
I actually missed that part. Thanks for bringing it up. I'm trying to make it work for my specific use-case and will let you know the result.
-
Hi @arielei Thanks for your answer! It's actually not a closed list. The amount of numbers and the interval are coming from Jira Assets attributes. So I can not predifine the sequences.

I voted for "Organizing content effectively". For me it's not about what Confluence or plugins offer to organize content. It's more about defining what goes where in Confluence and keeping it that way while content grows over time. Keeping control of a space structure is hard. A simple solution would be to restrict the…
