Something else: it is possible to make issues read only for certain groups and not for others via workflow properties. However: this always applies to the whole issue and not to individual fields.
-
Indeed! It really depends on the rule actor. In our organization we have a practice to use dedicated system users as automation rule actors for our important rules. It limits what the rule can do permission-wise (compared to the default automation user) and ensures the run keeps running when a user becomes unlicensed.

Ok thanks for your feedback Vincent. For me Crowd is/ was a great tool at several companies I worked for. But I think you took the right decision: implementing this now will be expensive and only for a short period of time.
-
Hi @Nalluru Srinithya May I ask why you are trying to do this with the REST API and not with a git? To answer your question: According to the endpoint's documentation you can delete files by using the files parameter. The example they provide is: curl https://api.bitbucket.org/2.0/repositories/username/slug/src \ -F…

Hi @Vincent VOISIN Crowd is a separate product from Atlassian designed to centralize user management for all your Atlassian Data Center applications. Knowing Atlassian Data Center licenses will not be sold anymore in the near future and be end of life in 2029 I would advise against incorporating this solution in your…

@Αγγελος Κουταλάς you should probably reach out to your Jira administrator to see why you do not have this access.
-
Hi @AnthonioD Are you looking for a way to perform status transitions with an automation rule? Example: you can have an automation rule with a "branch" on sub-tasks. And transition the sub-tasks when the parent does. I'm just not sure what your questions is about. Could you elaborate please?

You are welcome! Glad I could hep.
-
Hi Christof Yes that should work. It is one of the workarounds in MIG-2478 See my comment below.
-
Ok that's definitely a bug. I found the report on [MIG-2478] with Assets migration GA, JCMA preflight check blocks the migration if JSM premium is not activated on target cloud - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products. There are 3 workarounds on the ticket: * ensure the JSM premium license is enabled on…
-
Hi @Weronika Hałdaś_Deviniti_ If you're not migrating any schemas there should be no need to upgrade to JSM Premium on Cloud. Does this error actually block you from proceeding?

voted and watching! :-)

Hi @MennoVink Yes most likely a browser caching issue then. Simplified: Your browser remembers which reply it got from certain requests it makes. In that case the browser does not always make the same request again and just uses the reply it stored. Of course if those requests or replies contain the old repository name…

Hi @Luthien Like Aaron exmplained: you are on Atlassian Cloud (not on DC). And you can not reverse proxy an Atlassian Cloud site.
-
Ok good to know! Indeed, if there are no folder structure changes, different parameters, dependencies etc. I think the current helm chart should work fine.
-
Hi Aaron Indeed I think the CSV import feature is not the best. I've been using it since years (mainly on server/ DC) and the userinterface has not changed. Not sure about the backend though. About my issue: in the end it resolved itself after a few hours (night). And we were able to run th eimport on our production import…

On Data Center I remember a case where we could not setup a sync because of network restrictions. With Cloud this is different and might allow more cases. I'm personally working in an environment with 1 DC instance and 8 Cloud instances. For most of them there is no need for a sync or any integrations. A couple of teams do…
-
Hi @AKALJOT SINGH I assume this was caused by someone in your company changing permissions? Or did you have to raise an Atlassian support request for this?
-
Syncing Jira work items between Jira instances or even to other systems tracking work is very useful indeed. I haven't had many use-cases in my carreer so far but I did the implementation for a couple of businesses. Once the setup is fine-tuned and works as expected it's surely improves collaboration!
-
Hi @Steve What kind of integration are you looking for with Outlook? Perhaps there is a more generic email plugin you can use? https://trello.com/integrations
-
Hi @MennoVink This does not sound like normal behavior. Try clearing your browser's cache. If that does not work you can contact Atlassian Support and explain what happened.
-
Hi @Dylan Crespo I think they make helm charts available for LTS versions only. Current LTS for Bitbucket DC is 9.4.x. 9.4.16 has been releases recently. See this commit https://github.com/atlassian/data-center-helm-charts/pull/1075

Beging supportive on the job. I like when co-workers know me to be a person that always tries to be helpful and is open for any question they might have. Happy Firday (Sunday)!
-
Hi @Michael Collins Thanks for raising this as a separate question too. I also reported this one to Atlassian.
-
Hi Michael, Thanks for reporting this! I'll make sure Atlassian gets this. Next time it's better to raise a new topic. It will have more visibility than this closed question.
-
Hi @Ian Lundy You need to be an organization admin to access admin.atlassian.com. If you can't get those permissions you can ask another organization admin to provide an CSV export of users. It will contain the Account ID for all of them.
-
Hi Kanchan! I had this before several times. Sometimes I'm able to access a brand new Jira within a few minutes. And sometimes it takes hours before it is usable. I never found a workaround for this. Just waited until it becomes available.
-
I retried with a different file name, different config file, no config file, another user on another PC. None of it works. When creating a support ticket with Atlassian it tells me about this bug https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-81962 I'm still waiting for Atlassian's reply to unblock us. If there is anything…

Interesting! I never knew this.

thanks Caterina!
