Hi @Dipak Naokar This questions has been tagged with Jira Core so I asumme you are not using Jira Service Management. Are you aware that Jira Service Management has out of the box SLA's that can run in a certain time period (during business hours, week days only, ...). If you can't use service management: Here is a feature…

Whar do you mean with "backlog tags" exactly? I don't think this is something that exist by default. Is this a custom field or are you using regular Jira labels for that? With Automation you can use the issue transitioned trigger and as an action you could use edit issue action and edit whatever you want on the issue.

glad I could help!

Hi Mohamed, Atlassian has an asset management solution called Insight and insight has a discovery tool called Insight Discovery which can scan your network. You can no longer but Insight for a Jira server environment because of Atlassian's end of server. But if you are on Data Center Insight is included in your license. I…

Hi Christopher, Easy fix here: by default automation rules can not be triggered by other automation rules. Open your rule and go to the rule details. You will see a checkbox Check to allow other rule actions to trigger this rule. Only enable this if you need this rule to execute in response to another rule. You need to…

Hi Andrew, Confluence will reply with a 404 when something does not exist which is the proper http reply for this. Changing these kinds of technical requirements are usually not possible on the Atlassian Cloud ecosystem. You can try a reverse proxy but personally I never tried it in front of a Atlassian Cloud application…

Hi @jurepetrovic Can you explain how this relates to Jira? As for the rsync: are both folders in the same parent directory? And you want to copy only those 2 folders to a same parent directory on the target. Did I get that right? It's probably easier to perform 2 separate rsync commands. Or you could use the --include…

This is usually related to file permissions on your Confluence server. Make sure the user running Confluence has read and write permissions on the files in your install and data directory. You can follow the steps on this knowledge base article.
-
Hi! A couple of questions: * What do they see in the UI? * What do you see in the logs when someone opens one of those Confluence pages? Your issue might be related to this knowledge base article where the workaround is to rectreate the application link.

Hi Jason, Can you post an example of the REST call you are executing including its headers?
-
you're welcome! If this resolves your question please mark it as resolved so we can close it. Nice day to you too!

You need to go to the space tools (bottom right) and open the space permissions. You need to have "Add" permissions in order to create and edit pages. If you are not a space admin you should ask a space admin to do this for you.
-
Can you clarify the part where you send emails? What kind of emails are they? Regular Jira notifications or emails sent by an automation rule or some plugin?
-
Hi @Caleb Steen, welcome to the Atlassian community By rename the server I assume you mean changing its hostname? The answer depends on your setup. If your users are accessing Confluence by browsing to the machine's hostname of course that would break things. But if you have a an hostname alias, a reverse proxy or any…

Thanks for the screenshots. Can you edit any other pages in this space? If you are not a space admin ask one to check it fot you. I think you are missing edit permissions in the space. Even though you have edit permissions according to the restrictions screen you always need global edit rights in a space.
-
Hi Amani, Do you have some extra information. What happens when you try to edit? Perhaps there is an edit restriction at the page level. Note: we can not access that URL here. It is probably only reachable within your company network.

You're welcome! Hope it helped :-)

Hi @quentin, welcome to the Atlassian Community. You could restrict access to any project and add the user to one of the Insight roles only. This way the account would not see any project. You'll have to make sure no projects use the "any logged in user" role in the permission schemes and that the account does not belong…
-
Hi @Frederic Wolf Not that I'm aware of. I assuming your are missing some JSM specific features in the JiraPS module? Perhaps you can ask the developers if they plan to add what you are missing. They seem to have a Slack channel: https://atlassianps.org/contact/
-
Hi Kamilia, I'm afraid there isn't.
-
Hi @JoseMaria.Garcia Welcome to the Atlassian Community. "init Confluence is ready to serve" does not always mean Confluence was properly started. --> Scroll up in the atlassian-confluence.log file and check for any relevant errors or exceptions. Do you see anything in your browser when going to Confluence?

Hi Irina, I don't think the "-10d" notation wil work here. It does in JQL filters but I doubt it works in automation conditions. Try this as the second value: {{now.minusDays(10}} More date functions can be found here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/automation/date-and-time-functions-993924864.html

Hi Marius, Thanks for replying on this question. In the meantime I already found a solution but it is very similar to the post you linked. I am looping over my list of values in the "edit issue task": { "update": { "Affected services" : [{"set":[ {{#lookupObjects}} {"id":"{{Service.Service ID}}"} {{^last}}, {{/}} {{/}} ]…

This is very disappointing Atlassian. At this point in time your cloud products are not the ones to remove features from... We do have users relying on the companion app. The only alternative seems to be expensive plugins connecting to Office 365 or Google Workspace.
-
Hi Kamilia, Welcome to the Atlassian Community. To do this you will need a plugin. On top of my mind I'm thinking about Jira Misc Workflow Extensions which allows you to have conditional validators. You could use the scripted validator of this plugin. There are other similar plugins capable of this too.

Did you check the board settings? Are the statuses mapped to the columns correctly?

Via system -> general configuration -> advanced settings Direct url: https://<your-subdomain>.atlassian.net/secure/admin/AdvancedApplicationProperties.jspa

great to hear that! Please mark the answer as accepted so this can be closed :-)

Hi André, That's great! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Mauricio, Did you take a look at this documentation from the vendor already? https://docs.adaptavist.com/sfj/request-types-with-behaviours-70320725.html I'm not 100% sure it is related. Could you share some extra context about your goal? Where is the behavior running and can you share some extra code?
