Hi David, Thanks for your suggestion. I assume you are referring to ScriptRunner behaviors? Those are not available in Jira Cloud. Let me know if you meant something else.

Hi Paul, Ok! Good to know. I will test the date format change myself and post whether it worked here. But I'm glad switch to US English already solved your case.
-
Hi Paul, Were you able to solve this? I have the same issue when using Jira in Dutch. The date picker does not add a dot behind the month and not between a.m. or p.m. I still have to test it myself but I think you can solve it by changing to a date format that doesn't use the abbreviated months (so MM instead of MMM) and…

Hi, I would not recommend it. You'd have to test this on UAT thoroughly to make sure Jira can run without issues. What I would do in your case is install a postgres 9.3 instance just for Jira and move to postgres 11.2 whenever you are ready to upgrade to Jira 8

Hi Mike, Projects are a concept defined by Bitucket. GIT does not have the notion of projects meaning you can only clone single repositories. If cloning the entire project is requirement for all developers and not something you want to do just once Git submodules could be something for you. Or you could create a custom…

Hi David, Can you tell us more about the warning you are getting when the service is created? And do you get anything in the Bitbucket logs when you attempt to start the service? You can also check the Windows event log. Remember you can also create an Atlassian support request if this issue is crtitical to…

Hi! Depending on your hosting type: * Atlassian Cloud: yes, Jira has notifications. Click the bell icon on the top right of tha page * Atlassian server/ data center: no but if you have Confluence the Jira notifications will appear in the Confluence notifications I never understood why something basic like this has not been…

I'm afraid this can not be done easily. Project access can be regulated with user groups. So if you find a way to automatically put users with a certain domain in separate groups you can achieve your goal. If you use an external IDP like Azure AD, OneLogin or other and sync the groups to Atlassian Access it will probably…

Hi! You can use: * The Forge platform which uses NodeJS (javascript) This is the most recent platform to develop custom apps and recommended by Atlassian. You don't need your own infrastructure to run the apps in. It is definitely the easier way, certainly if you want to build something quickly * Atlassian Connect You do…

Thanks Frederic! I get the idea now :-) For the groups: this would be used in a Filter issue scope right? Our agents and customers are already in different groups so it could be easy to implement.
-
I created 2 feature requests that would greatly improve this new feature: Add option to show page status in various macros Include page status in Confluence search (the description should be adapted for this one but I can't)
-
Hi Frederic, Thanks for your answer. Can you elaborate on the additional custom attribute please? I'm not sure I understand what you have in mind. The usecase: end users can create incidents and service requests for a subset of applications. There are other applications that can not be accessed by the end users. But we do…

Hi Christine, Are your on Jira Cloud? The jFrame plugin is available on Jira Cloud only but it must be installed by an administrator before you can use it. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1221859/jframe-embed-in-dashboards-and-issues?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

Those kind of solutions are usually integrated in builds: a git commit and push triggers a build in a CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, Azure Devops, ... and triggers a scan in Sonar. The build then fails or succeeds depening on the scan. If you're not using a CI/CD solution yet I would strongly recommend it. This…

Hi Patrick, If you want to use the direct GIT URL's you should use a script task instead of a source code checkout task. I don't think there is an option in the source code checkout task to bypass the proxy mechanis of Bamboo. Something like this should work: git clone <your-url> Of course you need to take care of…

I try to get a coffee or a single glass of water regulary. Having a whole bottle give me too much time before I get thirsty :-)

Hi Andy, Thanks for your reply. Indeed I'm not getting those emails for all instances where I am an admin. But it's not the user invite setting. After reading your answer I took a look at related settings and in my case it is the approved domains setting: I will get an email for any user that joins automatically because…

thanks!

Hi Nicholas, Are you referrnig to the public issue tracker on https://jira.atlassian.com/ ? Because you can't file a bug directly in there. Or is it about the support poral on https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ ?
-
Yes if that single issue is that important to you you could import it into a free Jira Software trial: https://www.atlassian.com/try/cloud/signup?bundle=jira-software&edition=standard
-
Hi @VAIBHAV DESAI As this is an on premise instance of Confluence you should reach out to your Confluence admins about this issue. The Atlassian Community can not look into your environment or log files to troubleshoot this issue.
-
Hi @Faten.Kutbi Those date fields are probably specific to the Jira instance you are working in. The best thing would be to ask your Jira admin or colleagues what those fields are for and how/ if you should use them. The only default date field in Jira is the due date and can be used to indicate when a task is expected to…

That would be very difficult indeed. Those backups are made for full restores of an entire Jira site. It would be very cumbersome: the file will contains references to ID and then you will have to lookup the values of those ID's. You could restore it to a temporary Jira site and copy the values of the task from there.
-
Hi @Ivan Andrieiev All your data is in those 2 xml files. Active objects is used for plugin data + config and entities will contain all Jira data like users, projects, issues and their fields.
-
Thanks for your answer. What you describe is exactly what I did and session affinity is also configured. The routing for /jira/rest works. It always goes to my jira-0 pod. But it causes issues in the UI. Probably because I did not set the 2 conditions. As a workaround we will use a dedicated hostname for the API.

duedate > now() AND duedate < 14d should be correct. Or is it not giving the expected results?
-
Can you tell us what we are looking at in your screenshot? Is this a cloud backup and are you looking at the attachments directory? If that's the case: you will only see the issue keys of issues with attachments. The actual issue data is in the .xml file of the root folder.

I can see you managed to change the tags. I also moved you question to Jira Software. The default SLA's I mentioned are only available in Jira Service Management (not Jira Software) and support calendars to run an SLA in. With Jira Software only you will definitely need some plugin.
-
Hi @himaja No I don't think it's possible. But again: you asked this on an already resolved question so I suggest you create a new question so there's more chance for other community members to see it.
