Yes, a circular transition is the out of the box way of doing this. Note: the button to perform the transition will appear under the action/ automation icon and not under the button that is normally used to change a status. This has been reported in JRACLOUD-94299

If the suggestion from @Ollie Guan does not solve anything I'd look into any automation rules sending notifications. You can open a work item for which a notification was sent and look at the automation runs for that specific item.

I had this issue several times in the past when launching a new Jira site. Sometimes it takes a couple of minutes, sometimes multiple hours. But if this was not a new site I'd definitely reach out to your admin or Atlassian Support if you are the admin.
-
This is a good solution using smart values! But the trigger of the rule is once a week. If you want to do an exact date match like that you should run the rule every day. So pay attention to that.
-
Sorry! I just noticed the date of your quesiton now.

Hi @Jaime Camargo Bamboo can certainly be used as a CI/CD platform for .NET application. The technology of your software should not really matter for any CI/CD solution. As long as the machines/ agents building the software have the right dependencies. But I would not recommend using Bamboo at this point. Atlassian…

Hi @Kara Nadarajah >= endOfDay(7) will indeed return dates more than 7 days from now. What you need is this: <= endOfDay(7): everything with a date less than 7 days from now. But this will include items in the past. So combine with "Expiry date[Date]" >= now() to get future items only. Result: "Expiry date[Date]" >= now()…

Hi @Gabriela - LeanZero The .mailmap file is in the root of the repository already but I was testing on a feature branch. Once I merged to the master branch it worked! I can now see the corrected names in Bitbucket. Thanks for the help! I really appreciate your detailed answer. The .com/.int thing was an anonymization…

That's a pity. We use a service account for integrations. And we need to create an actual user with a license just for the automation rules. Voting for AUTO-2008!

Hello Arek! I was pretty sure I tried this before and I got an error Unable to create issue: com.atlassian.jira.plugins.importer.compatibility.FixedKeyMutableIssue@ I always assumed this related to the work item key not existing in Jira. But it was some workflow condition throwing this. I managed to create ABC-200000 now…

Hi @Christophe Favoreel I'm encountering the same "Could not retrieve access token for connection" error. I started happening for 2 different Jira instances with 2 different mailboxes at the same time. Both connected to the same Azure tenant. Do you remember what Atlassian Support had to say about this issue? I'm not…

Even though this comment is quite old I think the info is extremely useful. The Atlassian session will not expire when the Microsoft session expires. I was looking for this information. Thanks!

I just learned about this change when I stumbled upon this API related post. While the field configuration - field configuration scheme was difficult to comprehend for new admins sometimes I do hope the new setup will allow for the same level of flexibility.
-
@Andreas Stumpf indeed For me the API does not return a 401 anymore but it does return 0 results when using AQL. While it does work with my personal user. EDIT: apparently a service account needs to be added to the "apps" in asset roles :-)
-
Yes there can be in my experience. But not more than a few minutes normally.
-
I'm unacceping the answer since no solution was provided yet. @Awais Ali I recommend to contact Atlassian support.
-
Oh yes custom HTML can be a pain sometimes. I'm glad you found it!
-
Thanks for sharing @Scott Napolitan !
-
thank you!

Hi @Bastian Schmitt -drawio Diagrams- I missed your comment. But that's actually great! Your blog doesn't mention that part though. In the screenshot "diagram" is used and not "image".
-
According to draw.io's blog it should be possible: https://www.drawio.com/blog/mermaid-diagrams But the article is 6 years old and I don't think editing is still supported.
-
Sending specific attachments from a work item would be so useful!
-
Thanks for this article. We got an email about a Jira site hitting the API limits. The email does not contain any information to help us identify the Jira site it is about (we have 8). Luckily Atlassian support was able to help me out to pinpoint the site AND exact endpoint. I encourage fellow community members to vote for…

Hello @AnthonioD This can be done quite easily with an automation rule. As a trigger you can use "work item created". Next action: "edit work item" Pick the "components" field and set it to copy from parent work item. Like this:
-
You're welcome! Glad I could help :-)

Hi Susan, In our case we do not use different request types per email address. But I can share how our config looks like yes:
-
Hi @Ganthe_ Yash This is a great question. For me it's all about making sure the displayed author of commit is really the person who committed. Bitbucket will match your user based on you gitconfig's user.email property. You can set john.doe@example.com in your gitconfig, commit and push --> Bitbucket will display the…

Hi @Miguel Ángel Planas Labrador Your image does not load for me. Not sure if it's an issue on my end or if the upload failed. First thing I think about: has the description been added to the request type? You can check this by going to the space settings -> Request Management -> Request Types -> Open the request type and…
-
Hello Lucie, Yes! Both email addresses can be active at the same time. I have this exact setup. Each of them can be linked to another request type. You do need to set one of them as the "reply-to" address for notifications.
-
This is really good to know @Dirk Ronsmans! I never knew that. And I always disable that checkbox too :-)
