Hi Andrew and welcome to the Atlassian community! server.proxy-name is for your inbound (reverse) proxy indeed. If your webhooks need to go through an outbound proxy that is totally unrelated. Outbound proxies use the Java/JVM properties: * http.proxyHost * http.proxyPort (default: 80) * http.nonProxyHosts (default:…

I do this via the database most of the time. Here is an example in Atlassian's documentation. But it really depends on which info you need exactly. Unrelated: Bitbucket 5.15.1 will be 6 years old in November. I really recommend upgrading to an instance that contains all security patches.

Hi! Are you looking for a way to only get the files that were modified/ added in the latest commit? That's not what --depth 0 is for. You will get the whole repository but not the whole history meaning the clone will be faster and you can not go back to another commit. As far as I know there is no straight forward way to…

Hi Mike Yes there is a guide here: Migrating Bitbucket Data Center to another server You basically need to perform a fresh install of Bitbucket, copy the home directory to the new server and add/ verify the database connection details in the bitbucket.properties file.
-
Hi @jcathey87welcome to the Atlassian community! When I open the web page to setup the new server I give it all the proper information but get the following error. So you instlalled the new Bitbucket instance on Linux and start it right away? If the database settings are not in the bitbucket.properties file yet Bitbucket…

The base URL is in the xml file indeed. When you restore it to the new site it will use the base url from the backup. One of the first things to do after the restore is to change the base URL to the correct one. You'll also get a warning about this when you login. Of course you can also adapt the XML file and set the new…

Hi Nena, About step 4: do you expect the employees to fill out some extra fields? In that case you can use forms. A form is a separate set of fields you can "attach" to a Jira issue. They can also be filled in by users on the portal. Via an automation rule you could attach the form automatically to the issue when in step…

Hi @Bunni Jackson and welcome to the Atlassian Community! I'm thinking of 2 out of the box features to achieve this. First of all: you can identify issues/ bugs that are past due with a simple JQL filter like: issuetype = bug and duedate > -1d and resolution is empty This will give you all unresolved bugs with a duedate…
-
Ok glad I could help! Out of curiosity: what was the issue exactly? I have not been using team managed projects myself.

Hi Tomasz and welcome to the Atlassian community! I found an old bug report for Jira server/ data center and I think it is applicable for Cloud too. See this…

Hi @Devi So you want to know to what extent apps are being used in your Jira instance? There are no global metrics to track this. It would probably be quite difficult because all apps are different. Some add JQL functions, some add a couple of buttons and some add almost an entire new application in JIra. Some apps might…

Hi! Is this a good start for you? App approval guidelines

Hi Amanda and welcome to the Atlassian community! I think you are on a "team managed" project. That's why your workflow does not appear in that list. Team managed projects have their own workflow and will not be visible in the global Jira settings. If you can not transition issues to those 2 colums you probably have some…

You're welcome! If this answers your question please mark as accepted :-) Something else I was thinking about: perhaps you can use the information in the access logs. But you will have to parse it and it might be difficult to see when a user logs in from the access log.
-
How does this show how many times a user has logged in? :-)
-
Hi Paul, I'm quite sure the amount of logins is not being tracked anywhere. The LOGININFO table in the database keeps track of: * current amount of failed logins * total amount of failed logins * last successful login * previous successful login * last failed login But nothing about the total logins per user.

Hi Phil and welcome to the Atlassian community! I found several questions just like yours on the community but the answer is clear: this message can not be done. You can use the "give feedback" button at the top of that page --> suggest an improvement because I don't think there is an existing feature request for this…

Glad I could help!

Hi Eman! If I'm not mistaken the Responder Field is a field for the OpsGenie integration. It might have some limitations for what you are trying to achieve. But what exactly is not working? Atlassian and other community members often discourage the assignment of 1 single ticket to multiple users. The way Jira was designed…
-
Glad I could help! If you really want to use a custom event like No Notification event as a trigger you can use the Multiple Event trigger. You'll see your custom events in the dropdown.
-
Any chance those other issue types are using another workflow? You should check if the "create" transition in you workflow triggers an "issue created" event. Another thing to test: change the trigger of you automation rule to issue edit instead of create and check if the rule is executed when you edit the issues.

Hi @Rashmi Srivastava Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Have you tried adding the Development field as a column before you export. See this similar question. Metrics like "time to merge", "lines of couds", ... are not included in Jira. You'll have to create your own report by combining Jira data (with API or CSV) and the…

Hi Nicolas, Performance on Jira Cloud is not something in your own hands. Jira Cloud is a SaaS solution built with micro services that should server small and large Jira instances in a performant way. What kind of performance issues are you encountering? And do you experience the same on a non-company network? I have 1…

Hi @Moein Nafisi Like @uwe pointed out in another answer on this thread you can enable the button again with a JVM flag: How to re-enable plugin upload
-
That's strange indeed. When you do more tests, does it happen again for the same issue types over and over again?
-
Merging issues is not a default feature. I'm also wondering how it should work: have the 2 descriptions underneath each other, what with select lists, assignee, creation date, .... I would to it manually. But if it is something you need on a regular basis you can check out these…
-
Hi Geoffrey, I have seen similar questions multiple times in the past. Here is an interesting one: You could use a group picker field on your issues. Via the permission scheme you can limit the assignable users to that custom field. Of course it will apply to all issues in your project.
-
Hi Nils, Those smart values should work according to the documentation. What's the result? I think you forgot to include that in your question.
-
thanks for pointing that out. I had been playing around with the different options before but json=payload or data=payload both return a 415.

Hi! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! How do you use a knowledge base if you don't have Confluence? Do you have another product to maintan a KB? As far as I know there is no other KB than Confluence in the Atlassian ecosystem.
