Maybe Cloud lag? Does it still not show correctly? Have you tried clearing caches in your browser?
-
Hello @Per Thomsen , have you tried changing the CSS syles for code tag? If you look at the display, the code macro renders on the page as (depending on format setting): <code class="plain plain"> </code>
-
Maybe take a look at the status macro. And if you are on the server/DC edition, then take a look at this article: Getting-Started-with-User-Macros-Writing-a-Wrapper-Macro
-
You cant deselect the Show line numbers setting in the code macro?
-
Interesting. Do you have the option to export to Word from Google docs? And then maybe an import into Confluence wont have the same issue?
-
Then I would just move all of the content into Confluence pages (there is an import function). Then you have a collaborative platform and workflows. And everyone is always looking at the latest version. Plus all they need is an internet connection and web browser.
-
Personally, I think they need to rethink thier strategy, and just move the content stored as files to Confluence as much as possible to take advantage of all the tools. It seems they are trying to use Confluence to get around shortcomings in SharePoint? What kind of files are the storing now in SharePoint that they want to…

Hello @Infrastructure , yes, I have seen real sluggishness with long docs with lots of code blocks. I would strongly suggest that you break you doc up into sections. I have seen issues where at somepoint you can't save the page. So better to avoid disaster now!
-
Yes, there is a paid plugin editor for the Cloud: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215664/source-editor-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview It might be that google doc natively has two returns. I can use the browser to inspect function to see.
-
Keep in mind that the old editor will go away at some point.
-
Hello @Mariya Rybak If you are pasting from word, this can happen if people are using returns in between paragraphs. It is annoying. Plus often there is inline formatting that gets pasted in as well from some sources. My process is to use the source editor, and a number of save Regex routines to clear out the junk. I would…

Take a look at this one. We are using the server version but there is one for cloud too. It also generates org charts, and allows for custom fields https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/29106/user-profiles-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
-
In a word, no. It is a requested feature, but generally you have zero control over the CSS, unless you go with a paid custom theme.
-
There is a paid multiexcerpt macro that lets you find where the include is used from the source instance. But I think your only option is to have some sort of standard set of headings and then search for those headings, basically use headings as your labels,
-
Well you would create a custom field in the contact (or account) record within Salesforce that will hold the URL. But it will require that the user be logged into Confluence to actually view. In otherwords, it is more a Salesforce issue than Confluence, if I understand your question correctly.
-
Yes, it is not obvious, but create a dummy Word doc, with all your heading 1s as your child page titles, then Heading 2s and grand children. Then when you do a Word file import, set break on Heading 2s. And boom, you have a ton of pages.
-
First my condolences on having to work with Wordpress. ;-) We have a custom process that you push a button and it generates a PDF, and then write that docuement to our Drupal site, adding/updating the description, version number and date. Takes only a minute or so to run. It is a custom solution that we had engineered for…

I don't think so. Anon access is actually that. You would have to be on Server or Data Center where you have more control at the server level. You might go the route of have a group/shared login that doesn't allow commenting, etc. for people to use. Whether that violates the licensing agreement, I cannot speak to.
-
Hello, those actually look like HTML codes. The first one, ส is the code for ส. So I am guessing someone copied and pasted content that was from an HTML source, rather than character.
-
What happens if you reset the manual column widths to just float? But still seems like some sort of CSS issue. I would try to see what rules are working to cause it. And try changing that text to be paragraphs (check the storage view make sure p tags are actually added). I tend to write custom CSS to fix a number of…

Welcom to the community @arinblack , sometimes with Confluence, you need to think about your content orthoganaly. If you have evergreen content on your pages, I assume you mean that it is common language shared by multiple bids? To make that content easer to review, you could place it in seperate pages (or excerpts on one…
-
Hello @Louis D , I understand. Are you using the same fontface in the PDF as your display CSS? And have your tried NOT uploading a special font? Those characters are standard unicode and are available in almost every modern font. You may also be able to call google fonts from the PDF style sheet, rather than a locally…
-
Yes, I agree that Cloud is not Enterprise ready. Their Enterprise answer is to upgrade to the much more expensive Data Center version. Cloud is obviously a better deal than server for Atlassian, and why they are forcing users off of server. To be fair, they are not alone. Everyone wants to sell Cloud apps as they are…
-
Ah, I think they changed the functionality of the native excerpt macro. The differences are probably now more in performance (multiexceerpt has a caching function) and the UI. But are very similar now.
-
This is not an Atlassian issue, but a browser security issue. You can override it. Just search based on your preferred browser to change the security level to allow links to the "local" file system.
-
Das ist ein größes Problem! ;-) Just as an FYI, we have been using the Scroll PDF explorer, and routinly need to use special characters (mainly Greek). As long as we pick a font with unicode support, we have not had issues. Of ocourse, it is a paid plugin.

If I understand corretly, you are hitting Create 002 before publishing 001. In that case, 001 only exists as a draft (should be in your lists of drafts), and therefore won't appear in the page tree. And I think when you hit create while on 001, 002 was created at the root level, and won't appear in the page tree. You would…

Hi @Jakob Hingst Yes, you can install the numbered-headings. Althoug numbered headings come from a time before hyperlinks, so not sure I see their value on a web page (and the ToC gives you hyperlinks to each section).
-
While you might be able to cobled together a workflow using a plug in, like the comala-document-control, it really seems a better route to use S/W specifically design to do what you want. Conlfuence solutions tend to revolve around pages and not attachements. In other words, what you want to do is a bit orthogonal to how…

Bonjour @Patrick O_Connell ! The only way I know to do it would be via the API. In other words, write a Python script to crawl through the pages to do the regex for you. If your pages are all in one space, you could kludge it by just changing your CSS. ;-). You might be able to write your rule tight enough to limit its…
