Probably Cloud lag. The responsiveness is the combination of delays in your link to the server, and loading on the server. And in many cases, Cloud apps will replicate from accross the content delivery network (CDN). All of these issue can result in extreme sluggishness. No, to be sure, try creating the same table on a…

There were a number of changes made over the course of Version 6. I would try to upgrade to an earlier version (like the first LTS version) to get through the first set of changes. And then upgrade to the last LTS version, 6.13.23. That will get you all of the fixes for version 6

With user macros, I have had to surrender more than once. Good luck!
-
I can think of no way to make this happen out of the box. I may want to search the Atlassian Marketplace to see if a paid plug in exists. May this plugin would work for you? time-tracking-for-confluence-cloud

Switch to the server/data center where this works? -- Sorry, I know a sarcastic answer. But now I have one more thing to add to the list of why Cloud is clearly not a finished product. Maybe try to copy the table to Word, change to heading 6 and then paste it back into your page?
-
One thing I noticed is that you are first finding a matching space key and then page ID, is that right? But page IDs are unique to an instance. So would this not work? #set( $targetPage = $pageManager.getPage($pageid) ) And your sistuation sounds really tough. But maybe if you can come up with a working solution you can…

Hello @Gradyn Wursten , my suggestion is to copy the URL from the space's home page and paste it into an email. This is what I do. ;-)

I have seen structures were they take #set($contentFinder = $contentService.find(new Expansion('content')).withPropertyKey($spaceKey).withContentId($pageId).fetch()) By setting variables at each stage, for example #set($contentFinder = $contentService.find(new Expansion('content')) #set($contentFinderPropatery =…

Well if you understand how to properly instantion classes and methods, you are way ahead of me. ;-) I started my career with punch cards,, but never really learned programming beyond BASIC. ;-) And I am stuck on 6.13.23 for a ton of reasons. And I am not sure you can make an API call that way within a user macro. I have…

Hello @WW , and welcom to the world of user macros -- so much power, so little documentation and support. I have struggle whti this as well. Over the years, I have found macros from others much smarter than me, and then copied what they did. Not sure when I need to do this, but it does seems to make the methods I need…
-
When you say struggling, what do you mean exactly? And I would suggest you pick another class name that "container" as that is pretty common. Set you class name to something more unique like "contaner_youtube". Also, the browser inspect function is your friend here, to see if you CSS appears, but is being overwritten by…

Yeah, it can be frustrating at times. Not all objects are exposed to Velocity. And I have had to do a lot of research to figure out how to retrieve certain objects at times.
-
Thanks for the kind words. The point I was trying to make is that you may need to use get and put methods as it appears that the content properies are stored as a key map (key-value pairs). So you would need to do something like $content.properties.get($key) For example $content.properties.get("t-version")
-
Yeah, that is a different question all together. ;-) That macro works differently than a native table. I think @Katerina Kovriga _Stiltsoft_ has given some good suggestions.
-
Hello @Carsten Hilber , maybe a stupid question, but if the data is stored as key value pairs (per your REST call), are you using the right method to retrieve that data? When I have used a key-value map, I had to use the put and get methods. Take a look in the example in the article I wrote that uses these…
-
Hello @Dmitry Tishkevich . Yes you can. I have done this some user macros I wrote. However, you need to package your macros as a plugin so that you can gain access to this feature. You can add it to the menu using an icon and weight. Below is my menu with the Table and Figure title macros in the menu (and the Bugzilla…
-
Yes, this has long been an issue. I solved this problem on the server version with a user macro to handle both table and figure title formatting and linking. Helps to provide professional looking titles. Your options are limited with the Cloud version.
-
Are you talking about the ability to sort by clicking on a table heading? Are you seeing this with all tables? I know that if you have tables with two or more cells merged together vertically, the sort function will no longer work.
-
You are correct in your assumption. The only workaround would be a generic log in shared by these users with very restricted rights. But not sure if that violates the license or not. Even on the server/data center, you would consume a license. BUT you have the option of creating a gateway to even access the site, so could…

I have had a similar situation. What I did for that organization was to create spaces for each group within the company, and them have them name a space champion for their group who takes on the role of space admin. Then that space champion needed to work with his team to straighten out the mess, based on some simple…
-
Yes, move to data center where you can place the server on your intranet. ;-) With Cloud you have no way to restrict access except by turning off anon access, and having every user log in. There is no way to protect "public" pages when you are on the Cloud.
-
Don't hold your breath, This issue CONFCLOUD-36137 has been open for 9 years. ;-)
-
Have you just tried copying the licenses file from the old to the new? Everything keys off the license file. Assuming you have rights for a DEV licenses, install the dev licenses on the old server, then move the live licenses to your new server.
-
Have you tried beating Team A? ;-) Has Team A tried editing in place? edit-an-attached-file If they followed this method, then at least the attached file would always be current. A more robust solution would be this paid plugin: excel-for-confluence We have used this before to try to bridge the gap between the ludites…

It was in the low 70s today and sunny -- shorts weather! Tomorrow promises to be even warmer.
-
Your options are quite limited given you are on Cloud. There may be some paid plugin solutions that are out there, but if you are not allowed to install them due to business restrictions, that is also not an option. On server/data center, you have to kind of access you need out of the box.
-
If you were on server/data center, I would say sure. You would need to write a user macro (parts of which exist already). Being on Cloud, your options are limited. I would suggest searching the MarketPlace for label macros to see if a paid solution exists.
-
Well I am located in Central Texas, so failry far South. So length of day is 10hrs and 10 min
-
Since you are on the Cloud, no. You can do a lot of customization if you are one server/data center. You have limited customization options in Cloud. You may be able to find a theme that works better for you. Take a look at the marketplace.

Yeah, I see now a tiny note at the top of the macro page: This macro was intentionally excluded from the new editor and replaced with the Code Snippet element So now you are stuck with the version that has far fewer features. Seems the goal of Atlassian to remove as many features as possible for reasons that are not clear…
