Hello @John W_ Machar , yes this type of thing can often be challenging. First, that object has to be exposed in the Velocity context (many are not) and then second, you have to figure correct reference. So first, I will share something that has worked with Scroll (K15t) products: ## ContentPropertyManager setup #set…

I would suggest a user macro that create classed div tags to hold your content. Then you could update your space/instance CSS to style your layouts.
-
Correct, there is no builtin tool to do what you want. I would require a custom addon to the existing editor. There might be a third-party solution, but you would have to search the marketplace to see. Would be a cool addon, though.
-
Hello @Brent Werthmann , sorry but no. You would have to recreate the macro using Confluence tools.
-
Welcome to the community, @Catherine Anderson ! I will assume you are using the builtin PDF export function. What you need to do is to edit/update the CSS stylesheet for the PDF export and add the following property to your headings, page-break-after: avoid; For example: h1 { margin-top: 20pt; margin-bottom: 10pt;…

Take a look at the rendered HTML from the InlineCards. It may be as simple as reusing the CSS class (and imitating the structure).
-
Well this is another reason for not using Cloud. If you were running the server version, you could just place your instance behind a firewall and then grant anon view rights.
-
If you are pulling users from active directory, you could have a situation were IT did not add these new employees to the default group, confluence-users (or whatever group they are using as default).
-
Since you are on server, you can update the global/space CSS to middle align cell text (what I did by default in my instances). The default in Confluence is top, If you wanted something more select able, You could create a user macro to wrap your cell content and set the alignment -- a bit cumbersome. If you wanted to…

Hello @Rafael Costa . Are you only wanting it displayed on all pages as part of the layout, or only when you print to PDF? If the later, are you using the builtin PDF generator or a third-party one from someone like K15t?
-
Hi @Priyanka Sharma . The problem is since 6.x is well beyond EOL (I am on 6.13.8), there is no information. Atlassian did not do any research or testing, and won't provide mitigation steps for an EOL release. But this notice was specifically for Questions for Confluence app. So if you do not have Questions installed, you…

Well then you will need to either a) do the work for them (or at least add them to the permissions), or b) make them temporarily a member of the group with Confluence Administrator permissions (under Global Permissions in the admin console).
-
Hello @Colin Colwell , not sure if you mean page-level ToC, the ToC in the left-hand navigation panel, or the ToC when you export a document to PDF. As @Connor , it would be hard to do as anyone with edit rights can rename headings (or pages). There is a more complex solution that involves a third-party macro that would…
-
What about from the Restricted Pages tab under Space tools? Are they able to manipulate there? Maybe you need to temporarily grant her admin rights to clean this up, or another admin will have to do it for her.
-
Well sarcasm aside, just saying there is a simple approach which is to just edit the page. Doesn't require any additional plugins. And being on the Cloud, you are at risk of Atlassian updating their code, and suddenly your solution doesn't work.
-
@Matthew Warren , I would suggest making that user a space admin, then they should be able to change the permission on the pages. And I think that will give them access to the Restricted Pages tab under Space Tools -> Permissions. Once they have access, they can easily remove restrictions. If that is enough to give them…

Hi @Susan Mitchell , your running up against the permission scheme within Confluence. The macro's docs state the following: All macros provided by Content Mirror for Confluence consider the (view) permissions of the mirrored content. In other words: A user can only see the mirrored content (on the target page) if the user…

Hello @robert connet , not sure what you mean by "table transformations", but I know of no such solution in Cloud. It would require a custom app.
-
Just to be clear, I am not suggestion the use of the status macro, but rather have a key for Status, and then whatever value the user wants for status. Gets around a lot of the limitations.
-
You have hit upon the single biggest disappointment with the Cloud version. Not user macros. Your choices are: * Find a third-party plugin * Write your own plugin * Write an app using Forge
-
Hello @Eva Whitley This is expected behavior because you are pasting from one font face into another. You have three possible solutions: * Use the checkmark emoticon. Note I have seen issues where this emoticon gets converted to an image, that then does not export well. * Develop a user macro for this checkmark, basically…

Yes it is possible! You need to use the page-properties-macro on each page, and have one value as your status. Then you can have a report using the page-properties-report-macro to pull the information. I have used this structure many times as a way to store page attributes that can be easily queried.
-
Seems what you are looking for is a feature of a third-party app available on the marketplace: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1225522/space-tools-pro-for-confluence?tab=overview&hosting=cloud
-
Hello @Ted Timar In server, you can compare two different versions of the same page. Same functionality exists in the Cloud version, under Page History.
-
I am not clear I understand what you want, but the include page macro mirrors an entire page at the location it is inserted, meaning you can have more than one on the same page. If I understand what you are trying to do, you could place the Include macro inside of an expand macro, with the title "For more information" .…
-
Do you mean include page macro and not insert page macro?
-
Are you saying that you want to create a new page at the top-level of the space? And you are creating pages now using the "c" keyboard shortcut (or Create button), which creates child pages? If this is the case, just make sure you are at the top-level page of the space, and then create you page. This action that will…

Do you have edit rights to the page? If not, what @Fabian Lim is true. If you do have edit rights, then more investigation is needed.
-
I would suggest solving the problem differently, and bringing up SSO using an identity manager. Your secondary application can then just query the identity manager.
