Take a look at the answer to a similar question to see it helps you: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Admin-cannot-change-restrictions-on-pages/qaq-p/1125777 If, not, please report back.

IFRC, you can have permission set on a page, and an admin can't change the permissions there, but has to go to the restricted page listing in the Space tools. "Space Admin and System Administrator access to restricted pages Users with 'Admin' permissions in a space, or users with the System Administrator global permission…

This is a lot harder than it would seam. I did a look at the search syntax, and pageID is not an available field in the builtin search. But I did find this plugin metadata-for-confluence that seems it will do what you want per this doc page: https://support.communardo.de/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=65405541 I have not…

Are all pages in the space impacted or only ones that have restrictions already set?
-
Could you accept my answer (or vote) please? ;-)
-
You would think that the default setting for the params would do the trick. But unless they have fixed an eight-year-old bug CONFSERVER-23704, it won't work. On the CSS, I would be more anal and restrict users to a select few, corporately approved versions. ;-) Then you could just use different class to select versions.…

It might have just been a glitch. Trying moving them back to see if they are still visible.
-
Well the email will be in whatever language the Global Default Language is set to.
-
Do these user have permissions to set restrictions in the space?
-
@Joel Mamedov, the reason for this naming restriction is that Confluence page hierarchy is flat within a space (look at the URLs for page). The hierarchy you see is just a metadata fiction.
-
I think this line may be causing you an issue: <div class="card" style="background-color:$paramBackgroundColor; width:$paramWidth; height:$paramHeight;"> Since you already have a style directives in your style tags earlier, why not restructure the code to move those definitions to your earlier style for the class card?…

This is the exact use case for the multi-excerpt macro. I highly recommend it. In some cases, I place all of my excerpts on a page at space root level (so it doesn't show up in the left-hand nav panel). Makes it easier to maintain.
-
I guess you are saying that you have a number of pages at the same level as the Home page for the space. If so, you need to make then children of the home page - see move-and-reorder-pages If you mean something else, attach a screen cap of the page tree (from the space tools).
-
Short answer is you can't. I have tried to do the same thing. You can make a macro that creates the page property table, but the summary must be looking at the storage code. So I know of know what to make what you want to do work
-
If I understand correctly, that button is basically a shortcut to create a new page based on a template. What @Nicolas Iversen wants to do is create a new section in an open page, based on a template.
-
Did you try just adding the label you want to the template and saving it? I think when you create a page from the template, the label is also copied.
-
I think that would be fairly difficult to do. You would have to write a plugin that would have to check the profile language of every user before generating an email.
-
I am suggesting that if you have 10 possible sections, place them all in the template. Then users can easily delete what they don't need. Having each in section means users only need a few seconds to delete with the delete section button. On the last part, not sure I understand what you are asking. Confluence does support…

If you do not have a create space button, then you do not have permission for that function. You will need to ask an admin to do either: * Create the space for you, or * Give you permission to create spaces. For managing watches, do you not have a menu item similar to "Watches"? And then you should see a listing such as…
-
Sorry, I am too lazy to write in French, but here are the relevant sections from the docs: Managewatchesfromyouruserprofile OR Managewatchesfromtheemailmessage And then for creating a space. create-a-space Malheureusement, toutes les documentations sont uniquement en anglais Bonne journée á vous aussi!

There have been enough changes to Confluence since this plugin was developed (for version 5.9.7), that some methods and objects have been deprecated. I suggest you contact the contractor that developed the plugin for you. ;-)
-
Possible, yes, Easy, no. You would have to develop a plugin to place a button on the editor ribbon, probably with associated javascript to add the section and your template text/items. It may be easier to just have all the sections in your original template, and ask users to delete what they don't need.
-
Well this used to be hard to do, but you can update the page layout (under Space tools -> Layout or Admin Console -> Edit Site Layouts), which is designed using Velocity. I would suggest first developing your code as a macro, then moving parts of it to the page layout on a dev server, before modifying the mane site. And…
-
Well some observations, the class names for the UI seem pretty stable, but it is a risk. Also, not sure of your exact use case, but you may be able to do this with a user macro, where you could access the label manager.Basically, this is what the content by label macro does -- read the labels from the viewed page, then…
-
Well my area of quasi expertise is user macros, so velocity and java objects. So $page was just a reference to a content entity object. And the method is a part of the Confluence LabelManager. So hoping I could point you in the right direction. I did find this exchange that might help point you in the right direction:…
-
Don't know about AJS, but there is a method and property, along the lines of: $page.getLabels()
-
Yes, admin are never locked out. They can always change permissions, hence why they are admins. ;-)
-
You can use permissions to even " lock out" admins from seeing the info, BUT, and admin can always reset the rights to change the page permissions. If you are OK with that (trusting your admins to not go pocking around), then your data is secure (assuming you are using HTTPS AND are behind a corporate firewall, anon access…

I think the issue is that you CSS rules apply to all nested lists, which can impact a lot of menu items. You need to restrict your CSS to apply only to your content, which inside a container with class .wiki-content. So for example, your rules should be: <span>.wiki-content ol</span> { <span>counter-reset</span>:…

Well is there a way to pull the admin console settings as a java object, and then enable your javascript on the setting of that object? It is a global setting for the confluence-collaborative-editor-plugin. But I did a quick search and not finding something in the API docs (often happens). Maybe someone smarter than me can…
