The short answer is that you cannot change the heading levels easily, not without creating a macro to run JavaScript to change the heading sizes on page render.
-
It is not specific to the code macro, but this plugin will do what you want for any block of content (I highly recommend it for content reuse): multiexcerpt
-
All of your dates have a space after the first hyphen/dash, except "2020-09-10". Just do a find for "- " and replace with "-" and it will sort correctly.
-
No, just manually building parallel structures is the only thing I can think of.
-
With the server edition, for sure. You have a lot of control With the Cloud version, you are very limited (understandable for Cloud application). This is one of the reasons I do not recommend going the Cloud route. There is one new paid plugin for Cloud that purports to allow for custom CSS for Cloud:…

Well don't hold your breath. ;-) This issue was reported under CONFSERVER-36415 in 2015, and its current status is shows as "not being considered". So it is open, but no plans to fix.
-
Yes, that is expected behavior. You only options are to add comments above the code block, or actually edit the code and insert comments in the code using the code syntax.
-
I assume you are talking about the space logo. If so, the docs are here: Change your site and space logos
-
Unfortunately no. You would have to write an external script to walk through all the pages, download the attachment, resave, reupload.
-
Is it all PNG files? How they were created? I vaguely remember problems where I needed to open the files in Adobe Photoshop and resave for the images to work properly?
-
This plugin looks like it would do a lot of what you want: Lango: Language and translation manager and is compatible with Jira service desk.
-
Not sure this will do exactly what you want, but there are paid plugins that allow that type of navigation, for example: Spectrum Formatting Macros or Navitabs - Tabs for Confluence . If you want a free solution, I would suggest formatting everything as a single page, and depending on how much content there is, formatted…

Make sure the images are attached to the page and properly included, versus just pasted into the article. I have seen problems with the later.
-
I think we need more info. What macro are you talking about and what exactly do you want to do.
-
This is a bit tough. Your only option with this macro is to write regex in the include/exclude fields to filter out the other headings. If there is a way to make the headings you want to appear have a common string, it will make your life easier. Or you need to write your own ToC macro that only works on the included macro…

I have created an article that should really help you ;-) A-Child-Page-by-Label-User-Macro
-
Yeah, would be great. But not possible without writing your own plugin, unfortunately.
-
The link I sent you was to a macro I reworked to develop what you describe: an unordered list (but sortable) of child pages that match a label. In looking at the code, it only does the first level. Let me put together an article with what I have done (it is limited to children -- need to think how to extended it to all…

There is nothing I know of out of the box. There are two paid plugins, but they are for the server version. I don't see anything for the cloud.
-
While you can set a value for $body in case it is blank, I don't know of way of displaying the body in the macro in edit mode that can then be overwritten (but the override setting is probably displayed in the macro preview).
-
Yeah, does sound like a Javascript thing with a cookie in the browser.
-
What do you mean by format? The type face, font sizes, colors, spacing etc. are controlled by CSS. A user can only change heading level, or use bold/italic and underline.
-
Code inspector is your friend. You often have to see how a page is actually rendering to know how to fix CSS/formatting issues.
-
Wont the content-by-label-macro do the job? You can restrict on label and ancestor/parent. Otherwise you can write a user macro. I built a child page by label macro based on this code: https://github.com/unidwell/confluence-include-child-pages-macro With the user macro, you have complete control over the formatting.
-
And is the span tag stripped, or is it still there? Generally, expecting the formatting to be retained with pasting into Confluence will cause disappointment. I often just clear all formatting, then fix manually.
-
Might be, but it is what it is. ;-)
-
What I think is happening is you are getting empty P tags between lines. The other web editors may doing some filtering to remove those. I am just letting you know what I have done to get around the issue. It is best to be pasting clean text into Confluence.
-
Maybe a different issue. That you have breaks between lines. Past into notepad first, then into Confluence to clean out the formatting.
-
Because you are on Cloud, you only option is to write a script that crawls through every page of your Confluence instance using the Cloud REST API . Or pay for an app like qron-search-and-replace-for-confluence Depending on how many pages you have, surprisingly the brute force method may be the quickest and easiest.…

No. Confluence is not a WYSIWYG editor like Word. It is web based, so a mix of HTML and CSS. You would need to change the space CSS to change the line spacing. When you copy and paste, some of the formatting is kept, much of it is stripped out when you save.
