In reality, even if they have bookmarked a page whose title has changed, Confluence will try to suggest where the page has moved to. It works pretty well in my experience. After the user has been redirected, they can update their bookmarks. Bottom line, I wouldn't worry about it. Just change the title as you see fit

Well it would be best to post your code if possible, and then a screencap of what is happening (and did you set the output to be escaped or rendered). I will give you one warning though. I have created a wrapper macro around the page properties macro. It displayed OK on the page, but I was unable to pull the value with…

To answer your question, if you have any cells merged across rows, that will prevent sorting. Also, in some cases a table pasted from a different source, may not have the heading rows configured as Confluence expects.

SharePoint, the solution for the 90s! ;-) Sounds like a management question.

Along the lines of teaching someone to fish rather than giving them a fish ;-) There is the link to the basics: writing-user-macros And there is a no-print example macro that uses a div tag exactly the way you would need to do it for you needs. The color as size example below it shows an example with span tags. Enjoy!

I am not sure if there is, except maybe via a script. But this points out why you always test an upgrade on development server to try and catch these things earlier. For example, the fixed macro code might have been able to be deployed prior to upgrade. I know test is no fun, but once burnt ....

Well you can always export as HTML manually, There is also a commercial plugin for publishing to WP. scroll-wp-publisher . I have not used this plugin (as I hate WP), but I have used other plugins from this vendor. They also have this plugin that may do exactly what you want: scroll-viewport-for-confluence

The most rock-solid way is the create a user macro that wraps you content in these tags. I know I have used it in classed p div tags as last as version 6.13.8

Are you asking about moving a page between Confluence instances? If you can try to copy and paste as a simple try. You may have to change macros depending on how different the versions are. The other route, is if you have access to the source editor, you can cop the storage format of the page, to paste into a new page…

Are you wanting to change a color on all pages site wide, or all within a space, or just on one page for one element (the answer differs). ;-)
-
Not exactly clear what you are asking, but you could create a knowledge base for your customers using Confluence, and then direct them to that URL. Unfortunately, Cloud does not yet support custom domains, so not as slick as simply creating a subdomain. Server would be a better option for that (but hurry as they are not…
-
If you mean as blocks of code (code macro) or as originally formatted? And copy/paste didn't work?
-
Check you space permissions, or the permissions set on that page (or its parents).
-
are there differences in how the images were inserted into the page (for example, just pasted). or in the file type?

Do all users and different browsers see the same issue?
-
You can sign on to watch (plus vote for) this issue CONFCLOUD-36137 But don't get your hopes up as the issue has been open for more than 8 years.
-
you are welcome. It is useful to know that you can't do something before you invest a lot of time. I wish this forum existed when I started working with Confluence.
-
You have hit on one of the major limitations with the Cloud -- the inability to style it to some sort of corporate standard. Your instance looks like everyone else's more or less.
-
In a word, no. Or rather maybe the new app tool Forge might enable you to do that, but you probably need to have some sort of markup in the title to give CSS rules a handle. But Forge is in Beta at this moment, so not stable or production worthy.
-
That is the issue. You have zero control over the CSS in the Cloud.
-
Yes, when I copy tables from Excel, I sometimes have to go into the source code to clean up. Coming from Word is even worse.
-
Short answer is yes, but does require work. You can for example, package user macros as a plugin and then add that macro to the list. using the web-item-plugin-module For the actually listing, you will probably have to hack the server code. There is this issue CONFSERVER-28832 Note that it has been open for 8 years.
-
Do they appear after a time delay? I have seen a number of questions now with people not seeing updated content for up to 12 hours later.
-
Short answer is no. Server and data center allow for customizing the CSS at the space and global levels. Cloud does not. Sign on to watch this issue. CONFCLOUD-36137 . But note that this issue has been open for 8 years.

Could be a failure for his session to sync with the server. i.e. local connectivity.
-
Yes, what I meant was that they are not a part of your Confluence solution matrix in Cloud, one that has a long history and is well understood. I see many questions here that could be easily addressed with a user macro in short order. And yes, there may be new things you can do with the new beta tools, but the fact that…

If you are a space admin, then you can view watchers. Otherwise, talk to your admin.
-
There is a function that allows users to watch a space, so maybe that is why.
-
I have seen others complaining about long lag times (hours) for data to fully update and sync on the Cloud, I think this may be a combination of connection issues along with overloaded servers. Atlassian is pushing people to the Cloud, but did they building out their network to handle the influx?
-
I have written macros that only show content based on group membership. Pretty easy solution, BUT no user macros on the Cloud. I have always felt that user macros were a very powerful feature to allow users to plug holes in Confluence. Now with Cloud they are gone.
