Cloud is very limited in many ways, why I don't recommend it. You can add your vote to this 8 year old issue, but doesn't look like it will ever change (it is so old the product name has changed). Allow customized CSS in Confluence OnDemand

I think the issue is having page names that include the following reserved characters: ", ', <,>,&. My suggestion is to build a find/replace function for those five characters.
-
If you mean programmatically, I am not sure how. Manually, you could create a thumbnail from the first slide and then link the image to the file.
-
I have seen this type of issue via other question regarding the cloud instance. Might be a function of where you are versus they closest server, and the connectivity between it and other servers in their cloud. Atlassian has been pushing the cloud quite heavily for all their products. Has their supporting infrastructure…

@Gonchik Tsymzhitov I think for this one, I just updated the space CSS to style it more like the rest of the format I am using. For writing code, I tend to use Notepad++ as there is support for Velocity. I have tried an Visual Studio before, but that does take time to set up. Depends on the complexity of the project.

yeah it would be nice to have some easy way to move forwards and backwards a month at a time easily.
-
After you activate the calendar picker, you can just start typing the date, and then change it through the picker

@Michael AmmannI found this article when researching another topic: how-to-display-modified-page-dates-in-a-table What is interesting is that they are using the confluence content type in a user macro and converting it back into a page object. I think that will solve your problem as once it is an objects, the usual methods…

To echo this, as an admin, I do turn OFF the ability of users to delete pages and attachments to prevent chaos. ;-) But your admins could turn on Delete Own to make it a bit less of an issue.
-
I am afraid not. This is another advantage of the server version, where you could have the server inside your firewall, and then turn on anon viewing. But with Atlassian forcing server customers to data center, that is also not a cheap option. But then again, staying on SharePoint is not a really good option, such an old…

Yes, they got lazy and didn't give us anyway to select that content. The only way I can think of requires surgery -- editing the layouts (found in the admin macro) to close the earlier span element, and open a new classed span element for "Created by". I took a quick look on my local version (6.13), and you will have to…
-
Could you paste the HTML of that element (including parent elements)? There may be another way to select that text.
-
I have never used that parameter type, but there are others that don't work the way you think they would. User macros are in need of TLC for quite some time. It is a shame, but they are not maintaining this very powerful tool, and given the forced move to the cloud, user macros will only be available to data center…

I had another thought, Try selecting the entire cell not just the text (double click so that the cell is highlighted), then select paragraph format. I have seen situations were that helps reset styling.
-
My suggestion is to download the free version of the source code editor and fix it in the source code.
-
You have tried to highlight the text and select Clear Formatting from the editor ribbon?
-
The other way is to parse your parameter to find replace HTML encodings. Not fun, but you can add corner cases (and tell user to please not put special characters in page names).
-
Can you convert the results from the PageManager to encoded HTML before doing a compare? Or are you trying to do a page look up? And how about just pulling the pageID of the desired page?
-
No, but you can use the include page macro to essentially create the same child page in two locations (with different names when in the same space, or the same name when in different spaces). But there is no way to fork the navigation that way.
-
is your parameter type set to "type=confluence-content"? That is supposed to allow a user to run a match to existing content.
-
Yes, the Cloud version is very restrictive when it comes to this sort of customization, plus they may push out an update that breaks what you have set up. This is why I recommend the server version (but they are forcing customer to the much more expensive Data Center).
-
Are you referring to this macro - user-profile-macro It is designed to display a fixed user setting.
-
Well the issue is that if you want to do something server side, it depends on the storage data of the page. And the only two ways I know to do that is with user macros and plugins/apps. On the client side (display view), you can interject Javascript, which is hard with the Cloud version (or is applied throughout the site).…
-
Yeah that is by design. There are a few exceptions, for example links that autoresolve.
-
I think so, and I think the only way to solve this is with a user macro, which are not available in the cloud version. Or you would have to write a plugin to do what you want (even more complex than a user macro).
-
Depending on your install, there may be a global/space CSS that is overriding the default configuration. This CSS often does not impact the formatting inside of the editor.
-
If you keep the same file name, and then add the oldest version of the file first, then Confluence will handle the versioning for you. You can add note in the properties field of the attachment.
-
Have you looked at using task formatting and the task report macro? You can list tasks on a number of pages, and have the report macro collect them up. Plus you can use page labels to filter the report.
-
If I understand correctly, you are wanting to populate the pull-down menu in your macro to a list of labels on that page? If so, it can't be done. What is the variable $options? Also your Option param is a string, not an array. You would need to have the user enter a list of labels (maybe comma separated), then parse that…
-
Well the Cloud version does not support user macros. How were you planning on creating your macros?
