Well time to file a support case with K15t.
-
Unfortunately, no. You can only enable/disable all of them at the user level. To do what you want to do would require finding the code that performs the autoformatting and writing your own plugin. Personally, I would just turn it off if it is annoying.

I always believe in trying stupid stuff first, While label syntax does allow for hyphens, they just using a label with no punctuation to see if it still errors the same way. For example, I just use the label "exclude" in our instance for this purpose.

This is a fundamental aspect of Cloud apps -- you are at the mercy of the companies server and the CDN it is running over. I also think that their reporting model was just carried over from the server days where admin could address a lot of issues, and not rethought for the Cloud era. Just add this to the long list of…

Hello @Oscar Cabezas Calzada , yes Regex is a more advanced topic, but there are many website out there they can help you understand how to write the correct expressions. Basically it is just like using wildcards. Here is one intro page to look at: https://www.thisdot.co/blog/understanding-regex And then here is a link to…

Any admin should be able to request support from within admin console, or be submitting a ticket from their account. But let me backtrack. You are copying from Excel to a Confluence page to create a table there? Just doing a copy and paste, and then the pages won't save/load?
-
Or don't, and let the browser handle it based on language settings?
-
Hello @Jonathan Stefanczyk , just as a sanity check, when you were typing in the Exclude box in the template, did it find your label? And do you only have one label in the field? And ensure that page you want to exclude does have that label? But otherwise, it seems you are doing it correctly.
-
Not out of the box. On the server edition, you could have created a user macro to do what you want. For Cloud, you would need to build a Forge App
-
Or create a personal space. A user is the admin of their own personal space so can use it as a scratchpad/sandox. It also does NOT appear in the standard listing of spaces. Per the documentation: Use your personal space as a sandbox to organize your notes, keep track of personal OKRs and goals, and draft proposals for…

Hallo @Stefan Meyer Ich antworte auf Englisch da es viel schneller ist. ;-) So are these spreadsheets Excel spreadsheets? And what do you mean by Registerkarten? And are you trying to the open them once they are attached to a Confluence page, but they then hang and never fully open? Have you tried adding generic…

I would think this is something you would need to write yourself. And it would probably have to do the logging as well. Changing permissions is an event, but I doubt any history is maintained. And then the fact that permissions can be inherited, complicates the situation even further. I would assume that permissions are…
-
Hello @Christoph Harrer . Since you are on server, you are in luck. I have at least a partial solution to your problem already drawn up. Please take a look at my article here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-articles/Getting-Started-with-User-Macros-Writing-a-Wrapper-Macro/ba-p/979571 Take a look

When I set up a similar instance in the past for customer documentation, we enable (via the Scroll PDF plugin) to create a PDF of the documentation tree. One, this gets you a professional looking output generally, and two, it has a page break macro to force a page break when you want one. Printing a page from the browser…
-
Not sure why you would want to do that for an online document, but there is not an easy way to do what you want to do. You could change the CSS to have the left-hand navigation bullets be numbered BUT that would not be reflected in the page titles. You would need to develop some sort of plugin that is able to dynamically…
-
So basically company policy has tied your hands behind your back? Will they allow you a user macro? When you say printed, or you doing a native export to PDF?
-
Are you wanting to number the page titles as headings during PDF export, or while displayed within Confluence?
-
Our release notes are done as standard content (headings, paragraphs, etc.). Maybe follow the same scenario and then using Scoll ignore macros to hide content.
-
In reading the Atlassian docs: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/import-content-into-confluence-cloud/ it says you should see this dialog screen when you try to import a Word document: And then for the split option: Split by heading If the document contains Word heading styles you can choose to create…
-
First a sanity check. Does your Word document have headings formatted with the built-in formats, Heading 1, Heading 2, etc? If your headings were manually formatted, but say their style is normal, the import function won't detect the headings. Second, if you do have the correctly formatted Word document, please send a…

I haven't played with this for awhile, so some of the details are hazy, but this should get you started down the right path: ## Macro title: User Name to Userkey plus display conversion macro ## Developed by: Bill Bailey, MarketCom, LLC ## Date created: 2018.07.19 ## Version: 0.19 ## @param User:title User…
-
Have you looked at using Word import? You can break on predefined headings, for exmaple, breaking each heading 1 to a new page. You can then use the child page macro to create your ToC, but you already have the same thing in the left-hand navigation pane.
-
@Jimmy Seddon that makes sense. You are unaware of the limits as you never had the experience of server. I view Cloud as a RISC version of the server version - with many features removed to reduce Atlassian's support costs. And yes, I saw that Forge was the alternative to user macros, but when I looked a year ago, it was…
-
Hello @Jimmy Seddon . Thanks for your article. I have been a long-time Confluence fan and advocate at the admin level for nearly a decade. I have looked at moving to Cloud, but there have been several issues that stop us from moving as an organization: * No custom domain support * No custom CSS support * No user macro…
-
Could you point us and other user macro enthusiast to where this is documented, please?
-
Hello @dchudnow , I would suggest asking over in the developer's community: https://community.developer.atlassian.com/
-
To do even close to you want means purchasing an add-on to implement a workflow that keeps documents in a draft state that is not visible until it is published. You would need something like comala-document-management . Yes it is not cheap, but when you figure how much time it could save in your process versus trying to…
-
Which surprisingly exceeds the odds of every having user macros in Cloud! ;-)
-
It should be there, but are you an admin for the space, and under Look and Feel. Here is the doc page for your version: https://confluence.atlassian.com/conf73/styling-confluence-with-css-991928554.html

Hello @Rebecca Vick , not exactly. All you get is the ability to view the changes between editing sessions, and you can revert to an earlier versions. But you CANNOT go change by change to accept or reject. Typically, you would have an editor responsible for the reviewing the changes and deciding what to keep/change…
