Well, when you created your key, you must have created a .keystore file (depends on where you ran your command to create the key). You need to place the file someplace that can be read by Confluence (may have to set read permissions). I placed mine in my home directory (not sure that would be best practices)
-
a) probably best to X out the keystorePass (unless that is a dummy password. b) I dont see a keystoreFile statement c) mine lists a wider range of protocols. Below is mine as an example: <Connector port="8443" maxHttpHeaderSize="8192" maxThreads="150" minSpareThreads="25"…
-
The port number changes too, so the new URL will be: https://192.168.189.142:8443 And if you forward that port (and Synchrony port 8091) to your server, then you can access your server when not at home.
-
I think that you are just supposed to know you have to do that, based on the assumed years of experience as a CentOS adim. ;-) I set up mine for HTTPS using the following instructioncs: running-confluence-over-ssl-or-https And you will need this too: public --add-port=8443/tcp<br>firewall-cmd --reloadfirewall-cmd…
-
Did you open the ports in the firewall? firewall-cmd --zone=public --add-port=80/tcp --permanent firewall-cmd --zone=public --add-port=8090/tcp --permanent firewall-cmd --reload

If you have the 3.x PDF Exporter, I do not think it is compatible with the button macro. There are separate instructions for an 3.x PDF exporter: https://help.k15t.com/legacy/scroll-pdf-exporter/how-can-i-insert-a-export-button-to-a-page-82511645.html The incompatibility makes sense as they change PDF engine, and the…
-
Which version of Scroll PDF Exporter are you running? The process of inserting the button differs between 4.x and 3.x.

Go to the archives page (makes it easier to select the exact version and flavor you want: https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/download-archives Then right-click on the download button and save URL/Link to get the URL for the flavor you want: For the latest Linux installer, the URL is:…
-
Try these instructions. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/installing-confluence-on-linux-143556824.html I have always installed via the command line (using Putty/SSH). The only issue you will have is SELinux where you will have to open up ports before you can access your server via the command line (and sub the server…

I only know because late last week, I was also looking for the Import menu, and then figured it out. ;-) I didn't associate the Import function with the Office Connector.
-
I went through the same thing. It is the result of the Confluence Office Connector plugin being disabled. Which may have been done if your admin turned off WebDAV due to security concerns. Probably in response to this security alert confluence-security-advisory-2019-03-20

Just use the Insert Link button, then add or select your attachment.

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist-, what about the lack of main memory for the Pi? Seems like only the new Pi 4 would have near enough. Newest versions are asking for 6GB min? I had tried on a version 5 sometime back, and the lack of mem in the Pi would cause Confluence to come to crawl.
-
The current instructions are pretty good, and the install process is much easier than it used to be. But yes, you can install and control Confluence from the command line. I used a standard distro of CentOS to make things easy. I did use the GUI just for the install and initial configuration of the OS.

I run my Confluence server on GigaByte BRIX (small form-factor PC), under CentOS 7 (plus a spare SSD I had lying around). It is just mounted on the wall next to my router, and then I have the needed ports route to that server. I even have a reverse proxy so that I can run Drupal on it. And I have a home server for other…
-
Yeah, but once you get a server that meets the memory and CPU requirements, it is more expensive than that.
-
Well if you are able to use the API with JIRA, seems you should be able to do the same with Confluence, possibly via REST calls. So I think it is doable, but hopefully others can provide more clues.
-
You have two possible ways": * External script that writes to the page, but it has to write the entire page. * Use a script to attach a CSV to the page (or known location), and have a macro to generate a table from the CSV (there is a commercial plugin available or a great article on a user macro version).

Well I would make the Word file as clean and plain-jane as possible. Don't try to preserve links. And maybe move away from things like numbered headings. Basically need to move from the FrameMaker to the Confluence domain. Once you have a clean Word file, there is an import function, and you can set it up to break pages at…

Actually, this decorator file will give you some clues link-to-this-page.vm #* @vtlvariable name="globalSettings" type="com.atlassian.confluence.setup.settings.Settings" *# #* @vtlvariable name="page" type="com.atlassian.confluence.pages.AbstractPage" *# #if ($page && $action.tinyUrl) <content tag="canonical"> ##We want…

Maybe update the page layout to display that value? Then it would always be visible, Docs are here customizing-site-and-space-layouts. You will have to search on how to get the tinyURL.
-
You can access the storage format view from the page menu: There can be changes in the page's source code that could be the cause.
-
Take a snapshot of the storage view of one of the trouble pages. Then wait for it to reset and take another snapshot and do a diff. If that shows nothing, then it is time to file a bug.
-
Well won't the pretty URLs redirect (or at least point the user to the correct page)? And yeah, tiny URLs is probably the easiest way to go.
-
Does the page include any content from another page that might be changing? Has anyone added inline comments to the page (it is an editor event, so it may trigger the workflow).
-
I am a huge fan of FrameMaker, but have turned to the dark side of Confluence because of the ease of collaboration. ;-) I have not seen any workable methods. As strange as it may sound, it might be easier to export Frame to Word, then import the Word files. Then using the source editor, use regex to clean up the pages (or…

Well I don't know Jira, but for Confluence, I would structure VM code as a user macro and included it in <user-macro> module. For Confluence, the <web-item> module goes in the same file, in this case atlassian-plugin.xml. Then the web-item parameter refers to the key attribute of <user-macro> module. For example: ... ....…

Your screenshot is from Jira but you have tagged Confluence? But there is a pop dialog box within AUI - docs are here: dialog2.html. It has an example that uses a button click to trigger the dialog box.. I have used this successfully in Confluence user macros.

Could be nice and accept my answer, please?
