You need to ask the admin for your Confluence instance. Maybe they can help.
-
In a word, no. Cloud doesn't give you access to the CSS. In server/data center, you could either update the site/space CSS or create a user macro. But in Cloud, neither option exists.
-
Try entering labelText:instruction NOT labelText:support Not sure you can exclude all other labels easily. See: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/confluence-search-syntax-158720.html

Not sure if you are on cloud or server. If you are on cloud, you have no options. If you are on server, you can update the site/space CSS to restyle all tables. If you want to style a single table, then you will need to create a user macro to insert the table into, and then style that table with CSS.
-
Have you tried different browsers? At times, I have seen differences between how Firefox and Chrome handle tables, depending on versions.

There is a paid plug-in that will let you do view tracking system wide: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/28637/viewtracker-analytics-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview The other route that is a bit more complicated: google analytics…

In a word, no. That is what anon means. If you were running server, you could put your server behind a firewall, so only authenticated users on your network could access it. For Cloud, no such option exists.

There are limited attach points. You specify them in the web-item module (setcion attribute), for example: <web-item key="editor-figuretitle" name="Figure Title" section="system.editor.featured.macros.default" weight="13"> <description>Editor Insert menu link.</description> <label key="editor-figuretitle.label"/>…

If they have edit rights to the page, they will be able to see the comments. And yes, you can now add edits inline And are you paying for instance or on a free plan? If you are paying, you are on a standard plan.

If you are wanting to make sure that users create pags with conistent syntax, then you can do that via a custom template. Documentation is here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/conf76/page-templates-1018768772.html

If you are on the cloud version, you can't. That is a server/data center feature. You would either have to install a theme from the marketplace or create your own (but the notes make it sound like you can't at this point in time due to a change in UI).

If you look at this code: https://github.com/unidwell/confluence-include-child-pages-macro/blob/master/include_pages_macro.vm You will see examples. The author first calls the needed functions: #set( $pageManager=$containerContext.getComponent('pageManager') ) Now the methods can be accessed. So for example: #set(…

An oft requested feature. The only ways I know of that it can be done are via Javascript or writing your own plugin to add it to the menu, something along the lines of this tutorial: https://developer.atlassian.com/server/confluence/adding-an-option-to-the-editor-insert-menu/ I have used the later method to add some user…

The page is by default one column. If you are looking for the sections function that exists in server, it does not exist in the new editor for some reason. Visit this issue report and add your vote: CONFCLOUD-67648

Take a look at the storage format - ... -> View Storage Format - to see if you have an empty h2 tag at the top of your page. If so, click at the top of the page and change the format to paragraph

@Ernie Jennings Good luck trying to move to the cloud. After you are done, please share your experiences.

Hola. Yo puedo hablar espanol, pero escribar? Un poco difficile. ;-) There is a two-step process: Granting public access to a space To enable public access to a Confluence space, you must grant the following permissions to anonymous users: * The site-wide Use Confluence permission (as described above) * The relevant space…

I am in the BCS metroplex ;-) Better known as Bryan/College Station.

Not really, User macros operate server side, and are generally static once saved. In other words, they are rendered when the page is saved/refreshed. What you need is a client-side solution, in this case, probably javascript which is saved as part of the site structure. Or you need to develop a plugin to do what you want.
-
Try this trick. Expand the canvas (Photoshop)/art board (illustrator) for you logo. This increased height will force your row height but give you padding around your logo/image.
-
Just seems like Cloud is not yet ready for prime time. So many missing features.
-
If you try to delete the parent page, does it not give you the option of also deleting the child pages? Or is that yet another server feature left out of cloud?
-
If the display is on the parent page, you can use the child page macro to display a hyperlinked list of pages.

Hello friends, and greetings from Central Texas! I'm Bil Bailey and have been Confluencing for 8+ years. We are a Confluence/Jira server house, and are looking to migrate to Data Center towards year's end, so need to come up to speed. And while I have a lot of experience as a Confluence admin, I am still learning Jira…

Can you gain Space Admin rights? That would allow you to update the space CSS which would give you another angle.
-
I would come at this problem from another angle. Create a user macro that basically surrounds the body content (your table) with a classed div tag. You can then either include it in your space CSS or add it to your user macro. That is far more durable a solution PLUS you can update your CSS at any time, and have it apply…

Hmm, seems a bit hard. You could create your own ID, but you would then need to increment it each time, which complicated. And seems like a brittle solution to rely on javascript to modify an object based on ID that could change. Is there a way to do it within the user macro so that it is dynamic? Maybe sharing a bit more…

It probably something in the new editor. From a best practices point of view, when I have a line of code, I use the code macro to offset it from the rest of the text. And when because of issues with formatted pasted content, I tend to paste it into something like Notepad++ to clean out any formatting. My basic rule is to…
-
Bonjour! That should only happen if that content is formatted as a heading. Is that the case?
-
For my user macros, I don't worry about that. Confluence will generate what it needs. Even if I am wrapping an existing macro, I delete that reference. It works fine.
