Hi, @Aquilia Ringwood, and welcome to Atlassian Community. I will try to assist you with your question. The community is largely comprised of users as yourself, this also includes me. I'm a voluntary user simply like spending some free time trying to help other users with Jira and Confluence. I understand you are…

Hi @Krishtee, That was strange. I tested the rule using the Issue created trigger. The rule now looks like this: The newly created issue was updated as shown below: So, it works as expected. Can you attach an image of your rule? And an image of the the entry in the Audit log? It will be helpfull for further investigation…

Hi @Krishtee I understand you try to accomplish this using a post function. I see two obstacles here * What if you want to change the Risk value without transition the issue? * As I understand it, to support this approach you will need this script included in every transition you want to align Risk level with Risk value.…

Hi @Josiah Umezurike, you might have a look at this document. Exerpts below: Application form is found here Community License Request | Atlassian TimK.

Hi @fdlprod, I just compared the list of triggers in the free version and the premium version and they both have 12 triggers listed. Do you try to add triggers on a Company mangaed project or on a Team managed project. If you can attach an image of where you expect to see the triggers but don't see them, it might be…

Hi @Irina Lemus, you are using Copy from issue (in your last image). This will look for the Collaborator value on that issue, not the assignee. Since Collaborator is empty the value will be set to empty. You can use the smart value {{assignee}} instead. Then it will fetch the assignee value from the issue and copy it into…

Hi @Tricia Langwald STS, welcome to the community. You might create a rule triggered manually, and delete them there. Make sure you include a correct filter so you don't delete wrong issues. Make also sure that you uncheck Send email notifications for this. As a start, limit the filter on a test issue or two to make sure…
-
Hi @Jyotshna Naidu, can you try this as the smart value within the log action (or email)? {{#attachment}}{{#last}}{{content}}{{/}}{{/}} Don't use the branching or the filter examples I gave earlier, only use action. I cannot guarantee that "#last" attachment is always the latest attachment added (though I suspect it is).…

Hi @Asmath Basha S, yes, if I understand your question correct. Since Last breached by will be empty until the SLA is breached you can simply use this JQL: "Last breached by" IS NOT EMPTY TimK.
-
Hi @Princess Dagala, this can be a temporary glitch. You might retry at a later time. If it doesn't go away you can try playing around with the JQL to shorten the result list. E.g. by only requesting one project. Just to see if this solves the problem. TimK
-
Hi @Asmath Basha S, the rule will look something like this: Step When: SLA treshold breached You need to select the SLA from the dropdown based on your excact need. I used Time to resolution in my example. Step Then: Edit issue fields In the Choose fields to set... dropdown select (check) the new field name, e.g. Last…

Hi @Jyotshna Naidu, a more simplified rule follows, without the need for Create variable. Try adjusting the rule to this: (I have no idea why I didn't suggested this in the first place.) TimK.
-
Hi @Jyotshna Naidu, Automation is included as an App. Do you also have the latest version of the app? TimK.
-
Hi @Asmath Basha S, this is a tricky one. Since there is no breachedBy() function i JQL and no field for former assignees I cannot immidiately come up with a JQL for this. What you might do is the following: * Create a user picker field called e.g. Last breached by * Make sure this field is only available in View screens,…
-
Hi @Jyotshna Naidu, sorry, I understand. It is included in the latest version, as shown here (from DC): The latest DC/Server documentation do refer to Create Variable. but it seems to be only available from version 9.x. I cannot find it in the documentation for 8.2. I will see if I can come up with a solution without using…
-
Hi @Jyotshna Naidu, I just tested it and it works, so it might be something with your rule. Can you attach your rule in a comment? If you only want to monitor last image make sure you trigger the rule by Field value changed and monitor on the field Attachment. To only send link to the last image attached you can do…
-
Hi @Jyotshna Naidu, you might use the smart value {{attachment.content}} in the Send email action: If there are more than one attachment it needs to be handled differently because the smart value attachment will contain a list, not a single entry. Please inform me if this is the case in your scenario. TimK.
-
Hi @Asmath Basha S, if I understand your question correct you might try something like this: "Time to resolution" = everBreached() and assignee = currentUser() And you can focus only on SLAs still running (not closed) "Time to resolution" = everBreached() and "Time to resolution" = running() and assignee = currentUser()…

Hi @Lauren Hinrichs, tanks for your reply. Though I cannot provide free 1-to-1 sessions I would be glad to help you. I might suggest you post your questions here in the community to have the chance of many members and experts to assist you. You can also tag my name in those question so I'm notified, and I'll try to see if…

@Joerg, yes, in regards to this: ...one could do normal sprint planning with issues that live in a separate JSM project? TimK
-
Hi @Dmitry Aleshkovskiy, if you don't use swimlanes already you might try to base swimlanes on Epics. Try this: * Navigate to Configure Board * Select Swimlines * In the Base swimlanes on dropdown select Epics Now your board should be grupped by Epics. TimK
-
Hi @Joerg, I have done something like what you are mentioning with linked JSW issues. Mixing project issues into one board is a common approach, and works fine. I don't have any experience doing it with JSM and JSW in combination other than in testing environment. Combining JSW projects I do have experience with, and no…

Hi @Corinne Dent, sure, no problem 👍. TimK.
-
@Hi @Danielle Allen, @Trudy P Claspill is right. Sorry, but when a I was reading your question I thought you wanted to customize the standard Done resolution to something else, which is still not available and still an open in issue JSWCLOUD-17499 TimK
-
@Hi @Joerg, if I understand your question correctly, you can do this if you have Jira Software licences. If this is the case you can either: * Create a new Scrum or Kanban board and select the JSM project or select from a filter including the JSM projects needed. You cannot locate the board in JSM itself though, but you…

@Danielle Allen, I have to agree with the comment @Robert Wen_Cprime_ posted above. TimK
-
Hi @Danielle Allen, my mistake. I was answering based on company-managed project and not team-managed project, even your first image of the worflow clearly shows you are in a team-manged project. Sorry for this. I will look into a better answer for you. TimK
-
Hi @Danielle Allen, You can set the resolution either by Post functions or by Transition screen. Post functions is used if you want to force a specific resolution. Transition screen is used if the user can select the resolution from a dropdown. Try this: For Post function * Start by Edit the Worflow * Select the transition…

Hi @Princess Dagala, issueLinkedType IS EMPTY will return all issues that doesn't have an issueLinkedType related, which are all issues without any links to other issues e.g., no linked issues (hence not used). Did you try the JQL I attached? Please let me know if you get non-expected issues returned from that JQL. TimK.
