Hi @Dimitris Giakoumis ! Could you please elaborate on what you mean by the "child list UI"? If you could include a screenshot of how you are trying to add the issue to the Epic, it would be very helpful!

Hi @Shubham R ! I would recommend using the "Scheduled" trigger to immediately run the automation on all of your existing issues. After the automation has been run, you should change the trigger to be what would work best for your use case (maybe keep it as Scheduled but make it less frequent, change the trigger to be when…

I am unsure if this would meet your needs, but could you use "memos" for your Planned Date? You can add a memo anywhere in your structure and you wouldn't have the duplication problem.

Firstly, thank you for the shout-out @Monique vdB!! I am excited to restart my Kudos cross-stitching journey later this year. :) I recently visited my grandmother in Denmark and gave her two of my Kudos badges as a gift (she loved them). She also taught me a few tricks I will incorporate into my future designs. ;) I have…

I agree with @Florian Bonniec that you can either use Jira Automations or a script to remove the component from a specific set of issues. Creating an Automation is definitely the easiest route to take. Here is a link where you can read more about Automations: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/features/automation

1) I can't say that I would do anything different in terms of what major I chose in college or what jobs I applied for when I finished school. The only thing I MIGHT have done differently is continue with my Latin classes so I could get my college's Artium Baccalaureatus degree…

@Amanda Barber - I have the same dream! My ultimate goal is to be the go-to person for Atlassian products at my company. I would like to teach teams how to customize their Jira projects and dashboards to get the data they want and teach Scrum Masters how to use the plugins we have to their full potential. My company is…

When I was a kid, I really wanted to be President of the United States. I would say things like "When I am President of the United States, I am going to get rid of homework" (still a great idea, someone should make that part of their political campaign). I was heartbroken when I found out that I couldn't run for President…

The Rising Star badge would be so pretty as a cross-stitch pattern! I will add it my Trello backlog. :)
-
@Gonchik Tsymzhitov - thank you very much! I haven't used shopify before, so I will have to look into it. :) @Ritchell-J Benjamin - thank you for your kind words! :) I have been enjoying my cross-stitching adventure. @Dave Mathijs - you are so kind, thank you! I appreciate all the love. @Andy Gladstone - I am glad someone…
-
@Monique vdB - you know what? I completely forgot to post the Ocean Devotion badge! I will include it in today's "WIP Wednesday" article! And thank you for including me in your wrap-up post! I have been enjoying making these kudos badges. :) @Nikki Zavadska _Appfire_ - thank you! It takes me about a week to make each badge…
-
Thank you Andy! 😊 I like the idea of putting the badges on a sash...
-
Thank you so much!! If you want the patterns for the kudos badges, just let me know! :)
-
@Andy Gladstone - I started with this badge because I love the clean design of it... which makes it easier to turn into a cross-stitch pattern! :P @Monique vdB - Thank you so much! I finished the "badge" yesterday so I will share it in my "WIP Wednesday" post today. :) I will also reveal the next kudo badge I am working…

That is really weird... and it is making me wonder if your jira-config.properties file got changed somehow. If you can, I would recommend that you check that file and see what "jira.search.views.default.max" is set to. If it is set to less than the number of issues you are trying to export, then that is probably your…

Hello from the Dane living in the USA!

Do you happen to have "Git Integration for Jira" installed? There is a known issue with that plugin when you try to export issues via CSV: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/the-csv-export-from-the-jira-issue-search-page-generates-an-empty-file-1108688704.html If you don't have that plugin, are you able to…

I have used this image in one of my Product Owner / Product Manager training sessions. It was quite a hit!

Classic Jira memes never go out of style! ;)

A+ meme use! lol

Hello @Tom Stevenson The only way I know how to accomplish this is by using the Confiforms plugin. Create a Jira issue from Confluence Confiforms is very powerful but not very intuitive off the bat. I would highly highly recommend that you use the developers' tutorials. I hope this helps!

Hello, fellow Data-Center user! Have you tried looking at Advanced Roadmaps? what-are-advanced-roadmaps I am 99% sure that it comes default with DC Jira Software so you should have it installed already. At the very least you can use it to lay out what Epics your teams are working on and visualize the dependencies between…

@tsmith My husband and I bought 2.6 acres of land in TN earlier this year! I have heard that TN is called the "armpit of the South" but that it is still more seasonable than Florida! :P

I will take August 18th, please! :)

I'm in Florida with high humidity and temperatures so I can't work outside without becoming soup, but I love looking outside my window throughout the day. :)

If you want to find issues that are blocked by a specific issue, you can use this function: issue in linkedIssues("BLAH-1", "is blocked by") If you need to find issues that are blocked by ANY issue, you can use this function: issueLinkType in ("is blocked by") If you want to learn more about JQL functions that come out of…

I really enjoyed making today's Miscellaneous Monday post... may I sign up again and take July 31st? :)

My husband and I chose not to have bridesmaids or groomsmen at our wedding... but we did end up having a "best dog". :) Our dog got pneumonia a week before our wedding and could not be boarded at our doggy daycare as originally planned. We had to drive from Florida to New Hampshire (and back) with our furry friend and it…
