Hi @Rudy Hemkes , I guess you will have to create new attributes with the correct type, populate them (with an import), and remove the old attributes. Best regards, Kris

Hi @Abdullah Said , When you create this ticket manually, is the "Summary" field visible on the screen and does it also require you to fill in a value? Can you then actually create the ticket ? Also, I see that you fill the custom field "Start Date" with the value {{issue.created}}. I'm wondering if that could create an…

Hi @Benjamin Høegh , You can use a smart value condition to check if it's an internal or an external comment. Ex. Best regards, kris

Hi @Gittel Marcus , You can add customers to each individual JSM project you want the customer to be able to access. You can find documentation on how to add them here : https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/add-a-customer-to-a-service-project/ In your JSM project, you can also add them via the…

Hi @abhijeet , Can you give a bit more information on what you are trying to achieve? What error are you getting? Best regards, Kris
-
Hi @Gittel Marcus , You can give the users "Customer" product access in Jira Service Management. This way, they can report issues through the JSM protal (or email), receive notifications, but they will not require a Jira license. If they need access to the Jira backoffice, they will need a license. Best regards, Kris

Hi @Bo G , Welcome to the Atlassian Community. You could create an automation rule that is triggered automatically at a regular interval (ex. once a day). The automation rule could gather all the ticket where the return date has been reached, and send out an email to the reporter. However, I don't know if you have a link…

@Lakshmi Kumari , Have you tried checking the permission helper ? Best regards, Kris
-
Hi @Lakshmi Kumari , The screenshot you posted was the audit log of the automation rule. Since the automation rule got triggered, it seems like the tickets still exist. Can you see other tickets in the project ("IS" project i think) ? Do you have issue security defined in your project ? Best regards, Kris
-
Hi @Lakshmi Kumari , Can you check if the "Actor" you use in your automation rule, actually has the correct permissions to the project ? Are you able to view the tickets manually in the backoffice ? Best regards, Kris

Hi @Sonika Maddinapudi , Nice to hear my answer helped solve the issue. Feel free to click the "Accept Answer" button next to my answer to help others in the community solve similar issues. Best regards, Kris
-
Hi @Noemi Csaszar , You could also add a "web link" to your issue. You could link to a project url, issue list or dashboard of the project. You need to copy/past the url in the web link. Best regards, Kris

Hi @Filipe Paixao De Lima , If you use the field configuration, the field will always be required. So yes, it must be present on the creation screen. The automation rule will only run when the issue is actually created. Will the user be able to select the correct squad when creating the issue? Best regards, Kris
-
Hi @Filipe Paixao De Lima , Welcome to the Atlassian Community. You can use "field configurations" to to make the field required. In your Jira project go to "Settings" --> "Issues" --> "Fields" You can have a different field configuration for each issue type in your project, or you can share field configurations over…

Hi @Sonika Maddinapudi , The first automation rule, that sets the current time when an internal comment is added, would look something like this: 1. The trigger is when a comment is added (any action) 2. The is statement checks if the comment is an "Internal" comment {{comment.properties."sd.public.comment".internal}}…
-
Hi @Noemi Csaszar , Correct. Everything in Jira is "issue" based. So you can link issues to other issues (in the same or in another project). But you can not link an issue to a project. Why would you want to link to a project? Do you have a use case ? Best regards, Kris
-
HI @Resmi Ravindran , I know there are a number of translation AddOns in the Atlassian Marketplace. Ex. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1226752/issue-translation-for-jira-translate-to-any-language?hosting=cloud&tab=overview Also, I think you can use the AI functionality of your premium plan to do translations. Best…

Hi @Noemi Csaszar , Welcome to the Atlassian Community. Yes, you can use the "Link" functionality to link an issue from project 1, to an issue in project 2. https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/link-issues/ Best regards, Kris

Hi @Sonika Maddinapudi , If you only want to use the SLA for reporting the time between comments, i would suggest one or two automation rules to do the calculation. Also, an SLA does not allow to distinct between an internal and an external comment. So for the first automation rule, I would set a trigger when an internal…
-
Hi @Sonika Maddinapudi , So your SLA has no goals time, and starts counting when a public comment has been set, and ends when another public comment has been set. I'm not sure how the SLA will react to that because you have the same start and end triggers. But lets say that for example: * My SLA starts running today Nov…

Hi @Iris Studeny , If they need to be able to edit, comment and transition tickets, they would indeed need to have a paid "agent" license. When you set a component on a trigger, you can trigger an automation rule that sets the issue security on that issue. With issue security, you can define for each individual ticket, who…
-
Hi @Sonika Maddinapudi , What SLA data do you want copied exactly? Is it the target date/time? Or the time the SLA was met ? or something else ? Best regards, Kris
-
Hi @Iris Studeny , Will those "customers" be working on issues via the "JSM portal" (with only customer access rights) ? Or will they be working in the Jira backoffice with an "Agent" license. If they work as agents, I would suggest implementing issue security. You could create an automation rule that sets a specific issue…
-
Hi @GlenellRosburg , I think you need to do it like this : * You need to change you notification scheme so that notifications are only sent to "Group 1" * The scheme should not include "Group 2" * For Group 2, you should create an automation rule that is triggered upon selected events, and send an email notification from…

Hi @Irina Murisic , Welcome to the Atlassian Community. You can't copy a project, but you can create a new one and inherit the settings of the original one. Best regards, Kris

Hi @Hanna Mihanovich , Welcome to the Atlassian Community. What error message do you get? Are there still any users linked to the organization? Best regards, Kris
-
Hi @Gerda Grantiņa _ eazyBI , After some more investigation, it seems like this was only going to work with creating a new custom field via the Jira import, and extracting the sprint value via Javascript. So i created this, and this seems to return the value i need. Best regards, Kris

Hi @Brian Bajuscak , I'm a bit confused. You posted this question in the "Jira Service Management" group. Are you using "epics" and "stories" in "Jira Service Management" or "Jira Software" ? If it's Jira Software, you could use the "Timeline view" of your Jira project to visualize the structure. And if you even have "Jira…
-
HI @Brian Bajuscak , Welcome to the Atlassian Community. Unfortunately, you can not group items like that with JQL. Why do you want it listed like that? Maybe other options are available. Best regards, Kris

Hi @Jason Sadler , As per the documentation, the widget requires an OPEN portal. The widget does not provide login functionality. https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/embed-a-widget-onto-a-web-page/ Best regards, Kris
