Happy New @Rafael Meira For my org we use these on the daily: (had to include more than 3) * Confluence * JSM * JPD * JSW * JWM Why they are helpful for you? Just having different ways to track data make these products helpful. Not everything can be track as a task. Using specific agile ideas helps to keep things…

@Alexis Neveu Did that help you out?

Thanks @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- for the insight. I now have a better idea of the issue at hand.
-
So I have asked Atlassian & Adaptavist to try and get something moving to make this work without all the overhead. For security purposes is probably why they haven't released a fix for this but it is weird that you can do it from the outside via API but not from app add-on or from a native answer like Automation for Jira.…

I am going through the threads and there is some good stuff here that I can share with my team. Thanks for being here and for the welcome!

Hi, My name is Aaron and I been in JSM now for about 5 years + as a administrator and coach of ITSM. I am a full time Atlassian Admin and my favorite part is JSM. I started my Atlassian journey when JSM was JSD and before cloud was cool. HAHA I love everything about JSM and here to help and support and most of all learn.…

I found the issue. It seems that there were to many fields with the same name so the Scriptrunner couldn't parse the name of the field returning a null value. I made an edit to the name of the 1st field and now it is working correctly.

Sorry for the delay but here is a link to the Asset training that is available via Atlassian Univeristy: https://university.atlassian.com/student/activity/1229507-advanced-asset-management-in-jira-service-management-course-description Hope this helps. Let me also see if I can get the AD links for you how to integrate AD to…

Yes, I took a training last year at teams 22 for insight admin training to learn how to better configure the schemes. I have the import documentation attached it to last post. It lays most of it out. There is also a how to schedule imports with automation for jira tool. You will need to export the data from AD into a csv…

No problem. Glad it worked out.

Hello @Gediminas Kulys Yes, you can show insight asset object data in request types. They can come in many different object types. You can build these out manually or you can import data on a sync. The import can now be on a schedule and there is documentation on how to do this. Here is the landing page to configuration of…

@Meriem Naim I hope to be able to help with this question as I have worked in a Micro Focus environment using OES. This is a little different than their directory solution but I think I can shed some light on migrations. Migration with Atlassian take time. One of the things I have done is build out JSM to provide a better…

@Raymart Cruz Hope all is well. I just came across this question and we just did something similar for our event room. You can do this but you will need to use API or middleware or add-on app to make this work. We used Bettercloud to achieve this from a JSM request. Hope this helps.

Hello @Jeff Guthrie So with assist you can do a few things when it comes to assigning channels to queues. If you have your different teams on different project you can associate each project to a different set of slack channels. There should be two channels per project you will set up. Triage channel and request channel.…

Hello @Anne Marie Sharp I am guessing your on free cloud version for both JSM and Confluence by what your stating. If you are on cloud you shouldn't have to use the app link as it should automatically connect this for you if you open the first Confluence site under you company Jira site. When you add a new product this can…

Hello @Cameron Compton Welcome to the Atlassian community. Glad you are here. I believe last I talk to Atlassian Support the API limit for Cloud was 500 calls per minute. Note that if you go over this there is a limit rate that will take a hold and stop them from processing. We had a small event that proved this to be true…

I so need some study buddies. @John Chadwick We should study buddy for ACP!
-
I will have to agree here. Very well stated.
-
Hello @Adam Kassoff Typically I have used an add-on to do this. You can use any logged user but I believe they still need a license to view data. I know custom charts for Jira made by old street solutions is about to release this feature soon by end of year. Also you can use some dashboarding in Confluence. You can leave a…

Although scriptrunner can't do this you can use IPASS systems that can do this. BetterCloud is one of the systems that can do this along with Tray.io, I would look to a IPASS system to assist with this. I recently was trying to achieve the same thing but it doesn't allow you in cloud to do this just Data Center.

Typically I have used other IDP groups and not used the defaults to allow users to gain access to a site. This is because from IDP I can give them the proper groups and put the groups in projects as defaults as either Team Member or User role or however you have your roles configured. Example: IDP locked group:…

I never have more than 3 sprints in the backlog set up. Current Next Future Backlog Managing sprints in 3s as always proven more than enough for me. I agree with everyone here that would make the backlog a mess and be way to much to manage.

Is Atlassian making the change for us. Will they replace the current epic link and parent link for the parent field. Or Is this something that Admins will have to do? As of now I can make no change because we only have option for Parent Link and Epic Link available. We got the notification yesterday and it had panic among…

@Kerli Loopman I love this question and it had me for a moment. This would be awesome for study buddy. It will always go back to License or Product access. Example that really will prove this is JSM. I usually create a development role so that we can show dev teams issues we get on the Help Desk. This allows them to see…

You are very welcome and glad the suggestion helped you out.
-
I just used this as a fix for our teams. Very awesome!!
-
@Venu Madhav I will agree with @[deleted] you should start with the 620 project administration.

In the Admin Settings in the top right corner "COG" click on that and select "Product" Then select "Customer access" In the checkbox External I think is what you are missing. Check that and then try again. I believe you have to authorize external customers be added. I would also check by using a person email to see if that…

I have been trying to solution something similar. It would be nice for internal IT teams if we could use IDP to set organizations based on IDP attribute which would be super helpful. With this I am trying to come up with a similar solution based on customers department. We do have this field available on our tickets but…

Welcome @martin_berra I hope all is well and you find your answers here in the community. Do you happen to have a screenshot of the error. I am also wondering are they external customers to your service projects or are these external customers you are trying to add. There is some new configuration that can be applied at…
