I forgot to mention in the edit field Story Points you can put the smartValue {{fieldChange.fromString}} and that should pull the change data back to what it was in the edit of the field story points> I would try that to see if it makes the change for you.
-
I was going to say you would need to use {{fieldChange.fromString}} you might want to also have another condition that is a advance compare condition. But not sure that would work from the same issue that is usually compare two different issues or fields.

@Isabella Costa Hello I hope this find you well. I have not see any tool that does an automation integration or will migrate automation data. Somethings I have seen be able to be migrated are issues. There many sync tools like Unito, Excelate, and IPASS that can do this. I know from the Jira side you can export an…

@Dan McLean Welcome to the community and hope this finds you well. We are happy to have you here with us. So as stated there is app add-ons that can help with this and you could use. I am also thinking that you can make an automation that would help to monitor this issue and replace the value back to what it was after its…

@Dennis_H Hope all is well. I can give you some insight to what I have done for this. I typically set a scheduled automation that runs once a day for the issues that are due and give a reminder of the due date. You can send a notification from any automation based on and JQL statement and or status. You can also send these…

@kazu okamoto Welcome to the community and hope this finds you well. There is the condition that you can use in the middle of the current screenshot. If you put a condition between your trigger and your action this should complete what you want to do. Example: When: Value changes for MLRO Approver Condition: Issue Field…

@Nicolas Balciunas So for Salesforce I have always used Service Rocket market place app https://atlassian.servicerocket.com/connector-salesforce-jira This is there webpage but if you go to the Market place and type Salesforce Jira connect it will populate. This is pretty robust app and does a great job in connecting the…

@Robynne Barnard I would also make sure that you are using a global automation as this is spanning multiple projects. You might want to use the Compare condition to highlight the field data similarities or differences. I would also try to use a lookup issue and or JQL statement to narrow down the search.

@Nicolas Balciunas Welcome to the community and hope all is well. I can help with this as this has come up for me in the past number of times. So there are different ways to do this and different tools to use. * The add-on Revyz is a backup and restore solution that also comes equip with cloud to cloud data migration built…

I believe a lot of this complication maybe from the release day and just minor bugs. It seems all is working now!

If trigger issue is a child you should be able to easily make this work. I gave a screenshot in the edit issue option that should allow for you to push the data to the parent. Please see last screenshot of edit issue copy issue select parent. You can do this for linked issues also. I do believe if your going to use the…

I am posting this to my team in slack saying we should try this together. Thanks for the post.

First I love the idea and the post. Its great to focus time or no meeting days. A few things I do especially on weeks where lots of Changes are needed. Find my no meeting day and I put focus time on my calendar for that day. I would say that almost everybody respects it. I than go ham on everything I can get done in 8 or 7…

You two @Ange Lukebadio Glad you got your answers. We are here to help in future.

@Ange Lukebadio If this answered your question please mark it as answered. I am sure Chatgpt can configure the automation variables. It's a great tool to help out.

@Paul Smith within Jira there is only parent and child structure. Feature is a child of outcomes, epic is a child of feature, and so on. That is the relationship so you don't have grandparent or great grandparents so you have to associate this via parent child. If you add the field to the lower level and copy that would…
-
@Kirsty Bowie , Yeah if you want to de-merge or separate them you need Atlassian support to do so. Thanks much and good luck. Respectfully, Aaron
-
@Kirsty Bowie So if you have JSM site and a standalone Opsgenie site you can merge Opsgenie to JSM by follow the Confluence document that I am linking in: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/merge-opsgenie-with-jira-service-management/ I believe this is the only answer to the question. This…

@Ange Lukebadio In automation for Jira you can calculate field data together and have it output to a Text field. You would need to have this Text custom field available on the issue so when the automation runs it has a place to display the data calculated. In your automation you will need to use smart values to calculate…

@Harris Ali Welcome to the Community and hope this finds you well. Since it looks like your on cloud there is a few ways to do this.I will outline 3 different possible paths to go. 1. If you create a template project for your demo you can use Automation for Jira to reset up your project by deleting all issues and have the…

@Paul Smith You want to modify the Parent issue data if the child issue date changed. Is the Parent issue above Epic? Is the child issue the Epic? If so you should be able to use something similar. When you go to edit issue there should be a drop down to adjust which issue you are trying to change: Current is default…

I just found this for documentation and wanted to share. It states in there that all field data must match from the custom field data if you have any. Otherwise just Email and Org. I would double check your CSV maybe its not matching. Document.…

When I get issues like this I typically will reset my browser cache. Then try again to see if it works. I would try that. I am sure it was just shipped this week so maybe you found a bug. Is this import option in the customers area in the project side bar?
-
@Francisco Castrillo Good day and hope all is well. I know this may be a silly question but did you upload the CSV file already? Typically when there is an upload it will show the file name before uploading. I haven't got to use this feature yet but I know it was shipped.
-
@Paul Smith Have you tried to use the Edit issue fields on the outside line after the branch? I think that would be the only way to edit the trigger issue in this case. When you use branch its going outside the trigger issue to cause something or to gather data. Also what is the edit issue field look like? Is it putting…

@Audrey Garcia In beacon console it would be helpful to have the API gateway monitoring in its own sub category on the left side panel. * It would be great to see alerts where API's were reaching their max volume and possible information about that API call like header etc. ( I have had developers create apps that have it…
-
@Paul Smith I am sorry I didn't realize you had a custom hierarchy. That might change the works. I do know you will need to use parent link rather then epic but you may need to point to the epic too. So with Epics all children will live in them by default. With parent link If things are above epic then epics are the…
-
@Paul Smith Parent is a parent and a child a child. As long as you don't state a project in your automation you should be find. Now the only caveat is if you make this a project automation vs a global automation. This would need to be a global automation to hit all parents. If you did in the project it would only work for…

@Sean M I hope I can help answer this today. I typically as an admin recommend https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1220925/custom-charts-for-jira-reports-and-jira-dashboard-filter?tab=overview&hosting=cloud This app does it all and very easy to use. You can use filters or JQL advanced statements. I typically don't use…
