To @John Funk 's point - yep definitely limit those permissions on who can do what. This is also a good read on some best practices as well! https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Agile-articles/Best-Practices-Restricting-Projects-in-Jira/ba-p/654535 Cheers Ash

Hey @Phil Sounds like a conundrum! Question though, do you have multiple clients who are users in your jira software instance and they have the ability to move issues? Are they the ones causing the issues or are the users in your team? Ash

Unfortunately not @Najam-e-Sahar - not unless there's some custom coding or trickery out there, but within the standard functionality of Trello, it doesn't seem like an option. Can I suggest that if you really want this function, check out the process to lodge feature requests…

Would you mind sharing a screenshot? That would be easier for me to help you out :)

By rights it should bring everything into the backlog by default. When you go to the board settings > filters - what does it present to you there? By default your scrum board should be created with a backlog view with your items, which you can then start preparing in sprints.
-
It should just be as simple as creating the scrum board from an existing project, so you don't need to copy anything. The options below are from the cloud version, but it's similar in server as I recall :) Do you have that option?
-
Hey @Ram You do have the ability to create multiple boards in a project so you could have kanban and scrum view. I'd recommend reading this article :) https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver/creating-a-board-938845220.html Note: If youre project is 100% going to scrum, then after you have built the scrum board…

Hey @Brett Germain 2 potential options Option 1 (recommended) In this scenario I'd recommend you set up an instance of JIRA service management to work with JIRA software. JSM has the "service portal" functionality where your business units can see tickets they raise, and the status of them. It also has the ability for…

Ah gotchya. Yeah I'd say the first image Trello receives when the card is created would default to the cover. My only suggestion if you wanted to look so see if there's advanced tricket would be to check out the butler automations. I did have a quick look and don't see anything there for changing the cover images, and that…

Oh yes, I've found a lot has changed since then :) Generally (well I've found) if something has been depreciated, there's usually a marketplace app to provide a solution. For example you could check out an app like this https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1223462/html-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview, trial it and…
-
Hi @Najam-e-Sahar What's your issue? When the card is created are there no images on the card? Ash
-
Hey @Tabita Rebello when you say previously what do you mean? In another organisation with a different instance? How long ago? So many questions. Generally if you could do it, but can't do it now it could be that: * it was perhaps a server/data centre version of jira and now you're on cloud * it was a feature in cloud that…

Hey @Fryderyk Gajewski Trello is very much about team collaboration and sharing and the like, so if someone has access in your team, then yes, they can make copies, modifications etc. I'd suggest if you have items or configurations on a board you don't want people to be able to view/copy, make a private board and work off…
-
Hey @Alberto Pizano Unsure specifically around that macro - however I'd check that documentation first. Failing that On server you could look to add some CSS https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/styling-confluence-with-css-166528400.html Find the specific element and add a style of <style> .elementname { background:…

That is simply amazing - I feel like my wife and I will need to do something like this to manage the kids and household items. Thanks for sharing and all the best on the big day!
-
Thanks @Iain Dooley As this was for a demonstration I wasn't able to invest the time to get that going, however good to see that it's achievable! Thanks for your answer :) Ash
-
Hey @milynnus yep understood. It's probably the way I'm phrasing the question. I posted the automation for some context - the thing I'm scratching my head about is: In the task list view I cannot see my avatar or that I am assigned the task. Even though I had assigned myself in the previous step So really just wondering if…

Welcome @@Renzo Isola !

Hey @Krupa Savjani Generally I'd be looking at using classic projects if you're after that type of view process. Next-Gen projects are typically stand-alone. However, a potential solution you could try. In a classic project, create a kanban board that can include issues from both of your projects for your visibility, or…

Hey @Theresa Morse Taking a punt here as to the method you are using, along with your jira environment (server or cloud) and your desktop type (PC, Mac etc). Using JIRA cloud If you have found all of your issues via an issue search, you can select the fields you are after and export using the Export Excel (current fields)…

Not a problem at all! Happy to help out!

Thanks for the vote @arama mihai :) If you feel that answer is acceptable feel free to mark it as accepted so future users who come across this can see the solution! Cheers! Ash

Hi @[deleted] I would hazard a guess and say if you have a "Test Cases" field, then the JQL you would add to your existing query would be "Test Case" is not EMPTY Then every jira issue that has a "Test Case" would be included in that filter.
-
Hey @arama mihai Not that I know of, considering the embed code is something you can take and embed somewhere else and there's no linkage back. My suggestion (as painful as it could be depending on how many collectors) is that if you are looking to audit and move/disable your issues collectors from various source: * Simply…
-
Hey @[deleted] If you're after a solution that does not mean you have to update a filter each month you can simply use the below JQL which will show you everything that's been resolved in the previous month. resolved >= startOfMonth(-1) AND resolved <= endOfMonth(-1) you could then add to your JQL and type = IssueType So…
-
Hey @Shruti Gaddam you can use the following query to view by priority ORDER BY priority DESC Hope that helps! Ash
-
Hey @To Dong Luu If you have the ability to edit workflows you may want to consider adding a condition to the transition. For example this condition is Story point estimate is greater than 0. So the story point estimate has to be greater than that to move the task. Cheers Ash

Hey @Emily Kick the only thing I can think of may be looking at the access at the space level. Without knowing the ins and outs of your configuration I'm just throwing out ideas, but looking at the space settings may be a good place to start Also since you're in a server environment, if the system hasn't been re-indexed in…
-
Hey @Emily Kick you may have only been granted view permission if you cannot edit. Perhaps reach out to the page owner/admin and get them to check what level off access you were given :)

Hey @Laura Randall Unsure of the specific issue related to your issue there but these article may help :) * https://support.atlassian.com/jira-core-cloud/docs/what-is-the-new-jira-issue-view/ * https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/configure-field-layout-in-the-issue-view/ If you had a field in the old…
