It isn't clear what you are trying to do. If your concern is that you want to allow users of one Confluence site to utilize SSO through Guard, but not users in another site, you would accomplish this by putting the users of the second site into a different Authentication policy. You aren't removing the Confluence site so…

@Senthil Kumar Hariram This is a great question and the answer is that no tool is going to solve it for you. You are going to need a culture that views collaboration and knowledge sharing as critical to their success. That said, there are things that you can do in Confluence that will reduce the friction and incent the…

@Steeve P_ @Marc -Devoteam- I don't think that answer is quite right, at least if I understand your question correctly. The "Internal" KB is a Confluence space. Therefore, your agents need to have access to that space. If you did not purchase Confluence, you can still use the internal KB as JSM is supposed to provide you…

That is good news! Would you accept the answer and update the title with SOLVED so that other folks know?

I haven't seen this before with XRay. I suggest that you into your Board and check to see what the estimation setting is. Has it been set to Story Points? If so, try changing it back to Original Estimate.

@CAR - You can add any resolutions that you want, so if "Won't Do" won't do for you, you can add Canceled. The most important discipline that I try to encourage for all of my customers is to create a data dictionary. If you have Confluence, that is the perfect place to put it. The data dictionary should have a page for…

Can you show me what you are passing in the body to the webhook that adds the comment? When I do it, I get the text of the comment. You should be setting up your branch like this: Then you should pass {{comment.body}} in your JSON payload to the webhook. So your JSON payload might look something like this: {…

Anonymous use has to be enabled through System-level settings. * Select the System-Admin cog next to your avatar in the upper right. * From there, select "Jira Apps" * Scroll down until you see "Customer Access" in the left-hand window. * Under "Account creation options", check the box that says "Customers can access and…

@Hammad Ecomm - I agree with @Arkadiusz Wroblewski that the question is too open-ended to allow for a specific answer. There are lots of ways that AI Agents can be used. For example, for some of my customers, we have implemented an AI agent that will review tickets that are created through email to try to identify the…

If you want to copy the public comments from the JSM ticket to the Jira work item, you can do this by creating a branch on the comments in the JSM ticket and creating a new comment on the linked ticket for each internal comment that you find. However, the trick is that since you can't directly create the comment on the…

@Dave Knudson - Welcome! We are glad you are here. I think that you are creating a Form in a JSM space and you want to use this to allow people to submit their tickets. A Form needs to be attached to a Request Type. When you create the Request Type, at the bottom of the Request Form tab, you will see "Forms". Add your form…

A few questions about this: * Is this for Jira or Jira Service Management? * How do you expect to use this Client information? * Do you also have Confluence? Typically, static Client information is better kept in a documentation area such as Confluence than in workflow tools like Jira. But it depends on whether your space…

I went to open a ticket with Atlassian and, amazingly, the AI led me to the answer. I'm not exactly sure of what is happening in the back end. It appears that the back-end is performing a URL encoding of the search parameters after getting the URL. However, even passing in the unencoded email string (abc@def.com) didn't…
-
@Tinker Fadoua - I thought of posting on Slack. I thought that this forum would get more views from a wider audience. I agree that there is probably something going on in the A4J implementation. I will open a bug report with Atlassian.

@Trudy P Claspill - Documentation is The Organizations REST API REST API - you need to unhide the extra parameters to see the searchTerm option. I hardcoded the URL into the Web Request action exactly as it works in Postman including the escaped characters.

@Himanshu Tiwary It is far more complicated to downgrade if you don't have a backup of the database. There is a value in the database itself that will prevent you from starting up a lower version Jira and connecting it to the database. It will reject that connection and give you an error message. You also need to update…

If I understand your question, you upgraded to 10.7.4 and now you want to downgrade to 10.3.18. If that is correct, you would need to have a backup of your earlier database in order to downgrade. You can look at this link for more information: Rolling back a Jira application upgrade | Administering Jira applications Data…

@Penny It appears that you are on Bitbucket Cloud since that is the URL that you are using. If you are on Data Center, you would be calling a URL on your Data Center instance. Is your repo at https://bitbucket.org/tracxsystems/<repo slug>? If so, then you are on Cloud. If your repo is at something like…

Describe what you want to see in your report. That would be helpful in trying to answer your question.

The first thing that you should check is that the only required fields are Summary and (maybe) Description. JPD may have been set up to require some additional field(s) on idea creation.

This is pretty straightforward to do. Since you already have the parent by Issue Key, all you need to do is add a column to your CSV import sheet called "Parent Key" or something like that. Put the parent Issue Key into that column. In the mapping, you want to map this new column to the Parent field. It will then create…

@John Funk this has nothing to do with alerts. We have set up the Service Desk for standard ITSM kinds of tickets. There are different teams that have been created and they have set up their on-call schedules. When a ticket comes in from the portal, we want to assign it to the person who is on-call for the team that…
-
@Marc -Devoteam- That field doesn't accept a smart-value. I tried that already.
-
@Marc -Devoteam- Thanks for the response. The problem isn't assigning the Team, but with the Assign To action (which sets the Assignee field). One of the options on that Action is to assign to an on-call responder. However, you can't pick the on-call team via a smart-value. You have to statically pick a team.
-
@Bill Sheboy Thanks for the pointer to the JAC ticket. I don't like piggy-backing new requirements onto an existing issue. I don't like it when people do it to me, so I don't do it to others. I am hoping that eventually someone from the Atlassian Team might see this post. I may open a support ticket, but given the current…
-
My understanding of the way the action works, is that I select "On-call responder" as the user type and then indicate which team I want it to select from. It doesn't require me to do anything else. All I want is the ability to specify the team by smart-value so that I don't have to have a set of if-else switch statements…
-
There is a JAC ticket for this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-17948. You can log in and vote for it, but I wouldn't get your hopes up that it will be addressed anytime soon.

One approach would be to have a separate Service Desk that is specific to vendors. When you have a Service Desk ticket that needs Vendor input, you would have an automation button that would clone the ticket into the Vendor Service Desk and put the appropriate vendor as the Reporter. This would let them communicate on that…

You need to be on a Premium subscription in order to manage and edit the Help Center. Even so, I am not sure that you can put Rovo on the Help Center page. You can put it on the portal page for your Service Desk. To do that, go to Space Settings -> Channels and Self Service -> Portal. You should see a "Rovo Agent" option…

Thank you for releasing this long-awaited capability. I understand that it is a first step, but it a great leap forward for setting up queues and filters.
