Thanks @Sebastian Krzewiński As suggested, I have raised a support ticket with Atlassian. Let's see what the support analyst comes back with.

@Sherwin Soriano I don't think JIRA provides any JQL using which you can find this detail. One of the option is to use jira automation and update a custom field if parent link changes. then you can query on the custom field to find out which tickets parent field changed. Alternatively, you can use REST APIs to get…

@Steve Krummes Using native JQLs you can't link Epic and standard issues in one query. You will need to use a multi-step process * Identify the epic keys that match your due date criteria * use parent in (<epic keys>) to identify standard issues (Story/Task) that are having sprint is Empty. Otherwise, you will need to…

@Susila Selvaraju If you have O365, you can use Jira plugin with O365 and download the data in excel. Then you will get links. Otherwise, the option suggested by @Akriti Sagar are worth a try

While full clarity upfront is ideal, waiting too long for it can lead to delays. AI can enhance productivity by handling repetitive tasks, writing or generating unit test cases, and accelerating debugging—saving developers significant time and effort. However, simply adding AI tools won’t solve the root problem if…

@Bill Sheboy Would you be able to help here? I don't have any experience using Automation with Jira server. Due to lack of clarity the solution was geared towards cloud when it should have factored in Jira server. Thanks, Vishal
-
oh.. your tags mentioned jira-cloud. If you are on server version, then it does have limitations. Probably tweaking the logic to fit the limitations will be required. Can you share your automation rule that you have so far?

One of the problem areas is when workload is not managed effectively (due to various valid business reasons), priority becomes to deliver work and park agile process for next day. Unfortunately, next day does not come. if teams get breathing space when transitioning to agile, I think chances of success are higher. What's…

@goekce.vardar1 When you click on add a branch, you will see screen like below. Click on Advanced branching and here you can branch on the array of sprints.
-
@Zachary Buser By any chance have you created a file named email.py or a module named email? if yes, it would be clashing with the required package. Can you check and confirm?
-
in the API you can pass a query parameter state Filters results to sprints in specified states. Valid values: future, active, closed. You can define multiple states separated by commas, e.g. state=active, future see if this helps reduce number of sprints returned
-
@Marta Perez You import sheet needs correction I think. Remove column F & G. Rename Column H as Parent. Assuming you want the new subtasks to be created under WF123-128 (should be standard issuetype other than Epic).
-
@maze Can you check below link? it gives sample code in java https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/intro/
-
@Abdul Wahab In JIRA Cloud this is not possible.
-
@Abdallah Ahmed Add Manual trigger Then click on checkbox in front of Prompt for input when this rule is triggered Click on Add Field and select Dropdown Fill the form. See below screenshot I think this should suffice your use case
-
I suppose you are looking for how to uses lookup tables. Add Create Lookup tables and create entry like this Then if you do {{tableNameEmail.get(issue.Project Manager)}} and Project Manager = Saad Ahmad, then {{tableNameEmail.get(issue.Project Manager)}} will return saad.ahmad@example.com See if you can proceed from here
-
@Anurag Aditya Yes, you can. refer to below article Integrate Jira Cloud with Microsoft Teams | Jira Cloud | Atlassian Support
-
Ah!!! I see. What you are asking about is the gadget is rendered with data on browser. As the data resides on client side, REST API won't help. In my opinion as the data resides on client side, the user will have to do web scrapping to extract this data.
-
Apologies I couldn't respond to your query in time. Great to see that you have it working
-
@Goli_ Raja Can you share the screen shot of the automation rule that you have?
-
Yes. You can refer to below link for what will work in DC for your version. https://confluence.atlassian.com/automation0900/jira-smart-values-issues-1358463241.html

@goekce.vardar1 I doubt if Bearer <token> works with web request. First encode the username and token like shown in below code. You can use some online tool also if permitted by your security policy import base64 import json auth_token=f'{username}:{personal_access_token}' encoded_token =…

@Sridhar Gandla Try with {{fixVersions.name}} {{fixVersions.id}} or for multiple fixVersions against an issue key, this should also work {{#issues}}{{#fixVersions}} {{name}} {{id}} {{/}}{{/}}
-
@Matthew Mahoney If you have a hierarchy like Initiative -> Epic -> Story then below JQL gives you all issues under the Initiative (TEST-1) key in portfolioChildIssuesOf("TEST-1") Is this what you are looking for?
-
@Saad Ahmad if you have defined Names is drop-down say Saad Ahmad John Doe etc then you have the option to create a lookup table in JIRA automation. This gives you the ability to have key value pair. Key = Saad Ahmad Value = saad.ahmad@example.com Using this key value pair, you get the value and use the value to map…

@Kusunuri Anish The way that I am aware about how to get the details is below. In your dashboard, add a gadget that you want to create going forward using APIs (in your case doughnut chart) and configure it completly. After that, call GET -> https://{{domain}}.atlassian.net/rest/api/3/dashboard/{{dashboardId}}/gadget get…

404 is Returned if board does not exist or the user does not have permission to view it. For this API <a href="https://your-domain.atlassian.net/rest/agile/1.0/board/%7BboardId%7D/sprint" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://your-domain.atlassian.net/rest/agile/1.0/board/{boardId}/sprint</a> can you…
-
I have done this a while back and it is tedious process to get the values. Let me try and recall how I did it. In the meantime, can you confirm which Chart widget you need details for like Workload pie chart, Pie chart or something else.
-
To get the board id, go to your project and click on the board. the board id will come in the address bar. Can you check

@Kusunuri Anish Go through this link it details various endpoints that can be used for getting and creating dashboard and its widgets https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/api-group-dashboards/#api-group-dashboards
