@NSEU DevOps You can check out this link on how to do math calculations in automation https://confluence.atlassian.com/automation0902/jira-smart-values-math-expressions-1431247614.html Basic syntax is: {{#=}}{{issue.Invoice Amount}} * 1.2{{/}}

@Sachin Guttala I doubt if JIRA out of the box has this capability to enforce. You can refer to this thread and see if it helps Solved: Time (hh:mm) format custom field Other option is to write a forge app for your custom use case, if you don't want to buy a marketplace app
-
Then post your question to https://community.developer.atlassian.com/. You have a better chance of getting guidance over there.
-
Can you try adding Content-type in the headers and see if this makes a difference? I would guess multipart/form-data will be a better choice
-
@Simon Spalinger This forge sample code from Atlassian site is using /rest/api/2 instead of /rest/api/3 See if changing to version 2 makes a difference. Otherwise, I don't see any other difference // This sample uses Atlassian Forge and the `form-data` library. // https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/forge/ //…

@Michailo Liquidus I could find endpoints that gets users in an organization. However, I couldn't find any endpoints that give site specific details.
-
oh... okay. To get Organization ID with REST API, we can use admin APIs. Follow the below steps Part A: Creating API Key for use with ADMIN APIs * Go To -> https://admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one. * Select Settings -> API keys. * Select Create API key in the top right * Once the API…

@Michailo Liquidus To get the cloud id you can use GET call on https://your-domain.atlassian.net/_edge/tenant_info
-
send web request use this end point GET -> https://your-domain.atlassian.net/rest/agile/1.0/board/{boardid}/sprint replace {boardid} with your board id. This returns all sprints available. Advanced Branching (Loop through sprints) For each: Smart value Variable: varSprintDetails Smart value: {{webResponse.body.values}}…

@denis.marchenko There is an open issue requesting Atlassian to allow bumping up automation limit without changing the license tier. You can upvote for this. [AUTO-1007] More flexible/Separate billing options for Automation limits, e.g. ability to purchase automation runs as an add-on, ability to pool limits across…

@Michailo Liquidus Can you check this link and see if this helps esp. Section 3.0? OAuth 2.0 (3LO) apps
-
Would be a helpful feature to have. It has been nicely explained in the post
-
@Kavita JIRA allows one workflow rule per issuetype. If your usecase is to enable certain flow for a specific field, you can use conditions in workflow step to allow or disallow a transition. Use Team field in the pop-up screen
-
@goekce.vardar1 Have you been able to make progress? Once you have successful webresponse, you will need to use Advanced Branch to iterate over each sprint value returned using smart value {{webResponse.body.values}}. Would like to see what rule you have written so far and I can fill the missing pieces.
-
@Heba Hasan I think below approach will address your use case Trigger When Issue Transition Component (if) Check if the transitioned issue is a standard Issuetype issuetype in standardIssueTypes() Note: You can filter based on specific issue types Component (lookup issues) Use below JQL parent = {{issue.parent.key}} and…
-
Now that the approach to get sprint name is correct, next step will be * send a web request to get all the sprints * using smart filter get the id * edit the issue Refer this link and see if you are able to make progress…

To access siteY and siteX, do you navigate to below your URL to access https://siteX.atlassian.net https://siteY.atlassian.net ?
-
In the first sentence it was mentioned particular site so I thought you have multiple sites. Can you elaborate with an example what particular product are your referring to? is it like JSM, JIRA, confluence etc.?
-
@goekce.vardar1 As you are talking about 50+ sprints, I am assuming you have 1 week sprint. You will have to write two rules as there are two triggers one for Create Issue and one for field change (due date). Create a smart variable say varSprintName and extract required values like this…
-
@Prachi Bolar Would you or anyone from Atlassian Team be able to help on this?
-
@Michailo Liquidus Have you tried using below API https://your-instance.atlassian.net//rest/api/3/users This gives a paginated response. So, if you have more than 1000 users, then you will have to make additional API calls
-
@LaBulle22 I am using this library with python code without any issues. Can you share what error you are getting (for jira command denied)?
-
@Denitsa Boiadjieva Is the issue resolved?
-
@Shannon Highers JQL doesn't support querying based on timezone. Howwever, issue.created is saved in UTC. As @Mathew Lederman mentioned, you can run JQL like below and since it is stored in UTC irrespective of timezone, you will get the data. created > '2025-1-1 10:05' Are you looking at automation to populate a custom…
-
Hi @Bill Sheboy Thanks for pointing out the .toDate part. My bad that I didn't test this myself before putting on the forum. For your second point (root cause), I am not clear. Could you please elaborate? My understanding When issue is transitioned from say "In Progress" to "To Do", then statuscategorychangedate will give…
-
@Bhuushan Jaju if you are on JIRA Cloud then to get the average of a field below will work. The result can be saved in a variable say varEpicBAverage {{lookupIssues.customfield_xxxx.asNumber.average|0}} asNumber takes a string and converts it to a number (if possible) For testing, you can define lookup action with a manual…
-
@Romain This means these statuses are not in the right most column of your board. Once these statuses are put in the right most column and sprint is Closed, then issues with these statues won't move to next sprint
-
@Chayoung Kim Another option is to use JIRA automation if the population where these updates need to be done is less. You can use a scheduled trigger and run the JQL as suggested by @Mohamed Benziane Save the individual values in variables and then use edit with json like below { "fields": { "summary":…

in params key, value add maxResults 100 fields key, summary and see if it makes a difference. When you run the curl command in unix shell or git bash shell are you getting any output?
