It appears that Space Admins can restrict who can create and edit whiteboards.

Hi @Kimberly Kriegler If your board filter is specific on issue types, that would be why it's not appearing on the board. Can we see what your filter looks like for your board?

Hello @Bhargavi ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! What I can see from what you wrote, you created an instance of Jira DC onto a new server. You populated the data with production data? One of the system settings is the BASE URL. Could it be that it's set to the base URL of your production system?

Hello @vanja ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! So to assign someone to be a board admin, an existing board admin needs to click the Share button on the board. Then they go to find your name and in the right, click on the role pulldown and set the role to Admin.

Hi @Richard Snyder ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! This sounds like you didn't set your PATH environment variable. Basically, Linux checks the directories in the PATH environment variable when evaluating whether something is a command to run. To append the Atlassian SDK path type: > export…

Do you remember the days in February the Agile Manifesto was created at Snowbird, Utah? One of those days should work!

@Sam Nadarajan and @Amanda Barber : Now you see the REALLY popular feature of The Jira Life!

Hello @Awab Ali ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Aside from regularly deleting unused attachments, the only solution is to upgrade Jira Cloud from Standard to Premium.

Data Center is the only on-prem version of Confluence that Atlassian offers. There is no free option. https://www.atlassian.com/enterprise/data-center/confluence
-
There are going to be more Data Center versions. If Atlassian removes support for Data Center the way it did for Server, it will be on a 3-year path with plenty of warning.

Hi @Martin Cleaver ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! As a consultant for an Atlassian Gold Partner, I can tell you it's a bit easier talking about a "Jira for multiple kinds of teams and projects" instead of a sprawl of Jira tools (Service Management, Product Discovery, Align, etc). I look at it the way it's presented…

He @Edgardo Ibarra Right now, what I see is that using Copy Product Data to consolidate JSM projects to a single site is that it doesn't do all of the JSM data. Shortcomings include Assets, automations, and forms. So your migration plan is going to have to figure out ways of moving those over. The complete list is…

You forgot March 14, a.k.a "Pi day"! A day to celebrate all things circular! (and maybe eat a pie in the process). I close with the question: is a cheesecake really a pie?

Hello @Konsntatin ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! As @Jeroen Poismans has ably pointed out the end of life policy, 8.9.1 of Confluence is based on the 8.9 stream that was released in April 2024. 8.9 will be supported for two years and its end of support date is April 2026.

OK, let's try this for your Team-managed projects. Create a new role. On the role, make sure Access Development Tools is unchecked as seen below. Once it is created, move all your Team members to that role.

Hi @Daniel I'm going to point you to the release notes for Jira Core. The amount of changes for a period of over 6 years is just too numerous. https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracore/jira-core-release-notes-781386726.html

Hi @Craig Shames ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! @Juan Carlos Pin gave the correct answer if your project is a Company-managed project. If your project is a Team-managed project (don't know if it is? Look for a "Team-managed project" text at the bottom-left corner of any page in the project), check the role of the…

Hi @Kenneth Virgile ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! It's my opinion that you should have a look at Jira Product Discovery. This allows you to describe, prioritize, track, and send Ideas for implementation as products and features. https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/product-discovery

Hello @Diana Michelle González Morales ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Approving/denying users is done by an Organization Admin above the product. The Organization admins do not have to occupy a product license (although it is beneficial sometimes). This is independent of the plan (Free/Standard/Premium/Enterprise).…

Yes, on the Atlassian Certification portal add your work email to your Contact Info section under Affilliation Email.

Hello @Erlan Glenn Tiel ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! You can have different subscription levels for different products.
-
Hello @Sascha H_ ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! There is no way to add levels between Standard Issue Types and Subtask Issue Types. Plans/Advanced Roadmaps/Portfolio for Jira only allows you to add issue hierarchy levels above Epic. In Advanced Roadmaps, you would define the Epics that MyIssueType contains using a…

OK, here are some options you have. 1. Set up your User directory in Jira (internal or synced with LDAP). On Confluence, set up your Confluence users to authenticate using your Jira directory on you Jira instance. 2. Crowd 3. If you're going to use Okta, you'll need to get the Marketplace apps that handle SAML SSO. Here's…

I stand corrected.

Once again, Recovery Mode is my friend. Once I set the recovery password, the recovery_admin account was able to set everything I needed.
-
Option 3 may sound like the way. That seems to suggest managed accounts. What if we haven't set up Atlassian Access yet? Would manually performing "suggest new email addresses" work?
-
Take a look at specifying the size option in your step. How much you can specify is dependent on what runner you're using. https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/step-options/#

Thanks for the kind words, @Joanna Thurmann but I'm not sure "NY Times best-seller" is accurate! It was #1 on Amazon for Project Management for a bit (like, 3 or 4 days) when it came out.

What about the following? ((project = "XYZ Project") AND ("Epic Link" = A OR "Epic Link" = B OR "Epic Link" = C) AND (labels = label1)) or if you want to keep the number of parentheses smaller, (project = "XYZ Project" AND "Epic Link" in (A,B,C) AND labels=label1)

Is ScriptRunner an option? There's an enhanced JQL function in ScriptRunner called linkedIssuesOf() https://docs.adaptavist.com/sr4jc/latest/features/scriptrunner-enhanced-search/jql-functions#linkedissuesof
