Hello @Ahm ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! In Jira, you can change the order of the user directories that Jira will authenticate against so if it doesn't find the account in one user directory, it will examine the next user directory. Instructions are…

Here, here! I resolved years ago not to make New Years resolutions that would be broken by March!
-
The only way I can think of doing this is if project admins have the permissions to perform a bulk edit of an issue which would allow you to choose a new status. This means that you have to be in a group that is allowed to perform Bulk Changes, a global permission.

Not a crazy New Years. I had to teach over the weekend, so I didn't go crazy. But I did eat dumplings (a Chinese tradition) on New Years Day.

I'm not sure where you are experiencing problems. Have you consulted the instructions? https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/connecting-jira-applications-to-mysql-8-0-1018775461.html

There was a community article published last November where Atlassian pushed back FedRamp moderate certification to 2024. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trust-Security-articles/Update-Atlassian-s-path-to-FedRAMP/ba-p/2193560

Hello @fatima milnes ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I would suggest you start with Atlassian University (https://university.atlassian.com). Look at the following Learning Paths that contain free courses: Jira User Confluence User Team Agile. Hope this helps

Congratulations, Sajit! You are the man!

Hello @Kemal Keskin ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! The only way I know to recover from a deleted task is to restore the task from a database or application backup. There are Jira Cloud backup apps such as those by Reyvz in the Atlassian Marketplace. A listing is…

Farewell, 2022!

So, New Year's Eve is usually a quiet thing with a small group of friends. But there was one year... I visited my brother who lived in New York City around the holidays one year. Of course, we had to make our way to Times Square to see the ball drop on New Year's Eve. We braved a bit of the cold and were with crowds of…

Hello @Katinka Hitijahubessy ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! There might be a big difference in workflow or field configuration between Task and Spike. Take a look at the following Knowledgebase article to see if this gives you any guidance.…

You're welcome.

"It's a major award!" Happy holidays, @Kristján Geir Mathiesen and fellow Atlassian Community members!

Thank you, my 70's brother!

Take a look at https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/defining-a-project-938847066.html It talks about creating a project and the project-schemes created if you don't create from a shared configuration.

From what I see on support requirements, Jira is pretty insulated from variations in operating systems. Although they test using Ubuntu, so you should test out installing Jira on RHEL8. But according to this document, you may have problems on Bitbucket because RHEL uses older libraries for glibc.…

OK, my best guess is European Robotic Arm https://esamultimedia.esa.int/docs/science/ERA_brochure_EN.pdf

Hello @BruceCurrey ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Can you provide some context? Right now I'm thinking "Earned Run Average" :) But I think @Dave Mathijs is correct. If the context is a project key, then the people at your company such as the Jira admin, can explain what it means.
-
So, the list of names emailed to you are people at your company authorized to make support tickets to Atlassian. You have to see about contacting them for followup on your issue.
-
It should be pretty quick. The worst they can do is say it's not possible.
-
Hello @Priti Rajguru ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I believe this requires you to create a support ticket to Atlassian https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

Here are instructions for modifying the workflow on a team-managed project. If I remember correctly, adding a status will add a column to your board. https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/add-a-separate-workflow-for-epics-in-team-managed-projects/

Lunch was interesting at my high school cafeteria. There were many options! There was always a special of the day. Think things like meatloaf, chicken, or rotating entree with different vegetable sides. The second line had the mainstays. Hamburgers (made with beef? patties) and French fries. We were also allowed to go to…

Did you add the new issue type to the project's Issue type scheme?

Here's what Atlassian describes as its Cloud Architecture and Data Practices page. https://www.atlassian.com/trust/reliability/cloud-architecture-and-operational-practices#data-center-security

Hello @Anubhav Agrawal ! welcome to the Atlassian Community! You didn't mention whether your project was a Company-managed project or a team-managed project
-
Hello @Diego Galan ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! IN GENERAL, it sounds like you have a lot going on! If I read this right, you are responsible for releasing new functionality (set up as tasks) while at the same time doing support in the production environment. That sounds like your teams are drowning in a lot of…

So, if you're not the Jira administrator, you need to ask them to add the field to the screen(s) that are associated with the Subtask issue type. If you're the Jira administrator, add the field according to these instructions. https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/add-a-custom-field-to-a-screen/ Hope…
