Hey @Puneet Gupta Regarding your second question, looking for a filter subscription might help if that scenario mainly targets the notification of creators (to correct the summaries). Going through the following steps should enable you to send out emails containing lists of wrong items to each creator on a desired…

Hey @Niclas Moberg , What you're trying to achieve is not trivial, since out-of-the-box JQL does not support nesting, and a function like linkedIssues() only matches against specific issue keys or a saved set of issues. While using the Version released trigger enables you to incorporate an Issues fixed in version branch to…

In this context, I really must give Loom a shout-out. The asynchronous component is worth its weight in gold.

Thanks for sharing! Great release(d).

Hey @Jo-Lee Bertrand, I've just tested this on different sites and came up with the following: On sites with fewer boards, the list of boards shown at the For you tab (.../jira/for-you) matches the overall list from the Boards overview (.../jira/boards). However, it seems like the For you page can only show the first 19(?)…

Hey @Aykan Inal , Only workflows that are not shared can be edited this way as stated here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira/kb/use-the-edit-workflows-permission-in-company-managed-projects-in-jira-cloud/ The Edit Workflows permission in company-managed projects allows non-admins to edit workflows that are not shared…

An excellent course for consolidating and expanding your knowledge on JPD.

Hey @HaRsHaS' V Depends on what you refer to as "status update". A query like fixVersion = x.x.x and updated <= -5d returns issues from a specific that have not been updated throughout the last 5 days (no field or status change, comment, etc.). If you're referring to actual status changes, a query like fixVersion…

Hey @Fun Man Andy FYI - I cannot reproduce this on several sites (running different plans). That chat experience, though... Regards from Germany, Thorsten

@Kathy Barton, you're welcome! Admittedly, the user experience isn't ideal, considering that everything else has pop-ups or highlights. It can get lost in the shuffle. I'm glad it's working now!
-
Hey @Kathy Barton , You can access the original experience by clicking the meatball menu in the upper right corner and then select Bulk change work items: Regards, Thorsten

Hey @DERIEPPE Philippe What exactly do you mean by "have disappeared"? Are the respective tabs no longer shown when accessing the Scrum board? Removing the filter should not be part of this problem, since you should have been prompted that it's used elsewhere - see this example when trying to use the filter used by a…

The good old times! My pride and joy was a playing table with an entire city—mainly a parking garage with a gas station, a fire department, and a police station. Beyond this urban world, I was very taken with the Middle Ages and the knights' theme. Next to Robin Hood's "Camouflaged Outpost", this gem here was so fun to…

Hey @Murat Oz, Great to hear you're heading to Barcelona. You might want to join the Official Atlassian Events group and start a discussion there? https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Official-Atlassian-Events/gh-p/events Regards, Thorsten

Sounds interesting. However, trying the first conversation starter, "Can you explain this workflow" only returns something like: I wasn't able to access the specific workflow you referenced, but I can explain how Jira workflows work in general: ... I would expect a description of the current workflow, but Rovo does not…

@Jeffrey Li Reposting as a standalone answer for visibility (feel free to accept): After some trial and error with the snippets provided, I found a behavior that might explain your problem. Here’s what I found: Scenario: I’m in work item A and link to work item B. Using the Work item linked trigger, the source work item…
-
@Jeffrey Li Played around a bit with the configuration snippets provided here and, browsing through the audit log, ran into a behaviour that's (at least to me) a bit counter-intuitive, but that might explain your problem: * Given I'm in work item A and linking to work item B * The source work item (the one I'm copying…
-
@Rudy Holtkamp, the setup and explanation look good. @Jeffrey Li, if this is not working as expected, would you mind sharing the audit log when the rule is executed?
-
Hey @PATRICIA MURPHY, So, I've played around with different scenarios, checking the behaviour regarding differences in field schemes, field contexts, etc. And while I'd encourage you to double-check on those, I always ended up in "consistent behaviour": * With a configuration resulting in field changes, I was not able to…
-
Hey @PATRICIA MURPHY , Besides sharing the actual message (as requested by @Varsha Joshi), have you already verified that no field changes occur when moving your work items manually? You should be able to check this by looking into the History tab of the Activity section at the bottom of the work item view. Regards,…
-
Hey @Cristian Angel Bruner Would you mind adding a screenshot of your rule? I assume a problem with the actual placement of your components, which is rather challenging to determine verbally. Besides, when you speak of a "second trigger," you're referring to the rule being triggered again, right? Regards, Thorsten

Hey @siddhesh B Lad, The only thing I'm aware of is using the recently introduced Attachment security options to enable anonymous downloading of attachments in customer notifications—see https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/set-up-how-your-customers-access-attachments/. However, those links are…

Ah, the beauty and the beast that is Jira’s flexibility! 😅 If I had to narrow it down to just two golden rules from my admin journey, they’d be: Just because you can customize doesn’t mean you should.Jira’s configurability is a superpower — but use it wisely. Every new custom field or workflow tweak might feel like a quick…
-
Hey @Kenneth Ejner Schläger, Is the colleague the only one not receiving notifications? I'd check the personal settings - see https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/manage-your-jira-personal-settings/. Is everyone (or at least more than one user) not receiving notifications as watchers? I'd check the…

Hey @keerthika Narra , You're more than welcome! Would you mind accepting my answer then? Regards, Thorsten
-
Hey @keerthika Narra, Have you checked the 'Error message' section at the bottom of the validator configuration? Besides, if your initial problem is resolved, please don't forget to accept the answer. Regards, Thorsten
-
Hey @keerthika Narra, It sounds like you are referring to a "logical validator," which suggests that you might be using Jira Workflow Toolbox. If that's the case, an expression like %{issue.cf00000} != null OR %{issue.project.key} = "ABC" should do the trick - using the correct custom field ID and project key, obviously.…

Given this also comes with all permissions according to the docs, can this be seen as a space administrator, but with better visibility for the users?
-
Hey @v.sai.shruti, You can head over to your profile in the upper right corner (your avatar > 'Profile') and look for the last part of the URL that opens: %YOUR_SITE%.atlassian.net/jira/people/%YOUR_ID% Regards, Thorsten
-
I assumed so, but my Dutch is not so good. 😁 Since you've mentioned using Office365, my usual way to narrow down the problem would be to add an Atlassian email to verify whether it works there. This would probably rule out the possibility that it is due to the project configuration itself.
