Hey @Tuncay Senturk _Snapbytes_ That's our old link. Our new documentation can be found here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/get-started-with-advanced-roadmaps/

Hi @Hacı Çınar For a basic introduction to Advanced Roadmaps, I'd steer you towards our public documentation for Advanced Roadmaps. We have a section called Get Started with Advanced Roadmaps that might be a great starting point to understand the power of the tooling.
-
Hi @Marc-Andre Dufort So bad news is that there isn't a way to do this. Cross-project releases are only a feature in Advanced Roadmaps, and it's an attribute applied to the releases, not the issues. That said, you can always file a feature request ticket on our public suggestion tracker. Cheers Eddie
-
Hi @Neil Wills, As @Dave Mathijs said, it's currently not possible to do what you're asking, and his advice around a workaround is the best we have right now. BUT. We have a feature request ticket open for Milestones, and it's currently being explored as a new feature. Here's the link to the feature request ticket. Vote…

Hi @Fidelidade JIRA Admin You have quite the conundrum. If I had to guess, I'd say that something's misaligned in your issue hierarchy. The documentation has three steps for configuring custom hierarchy levels in Advanced Roadmaps (link to the docs here); the second and the third process on that page are what I'd focus on.…

Hey Ivan, I can't confirm when Confluence support was added to Advanced Roadmaps, but if I had to guess, that's the issue. There were heaps of improvements between 3.14 and 3.29 (the final version), and I'm guessing it was added somewhere in there. Unfortunately, we've also EOL'd the standalone plugin. To update, it's now…
-
Hi @Ivan D You indicated you're using a server instance of the plugin. Which version of Advanced Roadmaps are you using? If it's an older version, it might not include the option to export to Confluence. Cheers Eddie
-
Hi @Ben Weisman @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- has the right idea, though it's an idea I can expand on it a little. It's built this way on purpose. In a plan, a story should be a piece of work assigned to an individual team. Subtasks are smaller tasks within that, but still handled by one team. If work needs to be broken down…

Hi @John Dunkelberg Hot off the press: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-23826
-
Hey @Rick Moerloos (and also @David Wuth This issue's been raised with the development team as a bug. I can't promise when they'll get to it, but it's on our radar. In the meantime, we'll update the documentation to include these details. Cheers Eddie

Hi @Renate Zaininger, Two options might help you here: 1. Advanced Roadmaps handles completed and resolved issues differently than the rest of Jira Software. We talk about it more in the documentation, which you can read here: How Advanced Roadmaps handles completed and resolved issues 2. If that doesn't help, then I…

Hi @Annalaura Di Nunno Looks like you've got a mystery on your hands. I'm not 100% sure what the solution is, but I'd encourage you to reach out to our support team at https://support.atlassian.com/contact/. They'll help you troubleshoot this issue. Cheers Eddie
-
Hi @Nikki DuBois I'm a little late to the party, but the best solution in this case is to export as a pdf from the answer above. Unfortunately, having a public link to your Jira data presents a data security risk as your planning data could, in theory, be accessed by anyone. It's for this reason that we require permissions…
-
Hi @Henry Huang Unfortunately, the best solution I can offer is to sort by rank and then manually drag and drop them into numerical order. I wish I had a better answer, but alas. The reason this isn't really possible is that there's multiple hierarchy levels displayed at one time, which makes a simple numerical sort…

@Bridgette Gigi It sounds like you might be looking for a Release Burndown chart. If you're in a company-managed project, you should be able to access this through the Reports menu on your project's left side nav, then choose Release burndown. Documentation for that can be found…
-
Hi @Carey Kiernan, As of right now, teams in Advanced Roadmaps are a separate entity from those found in Jira Software. When you save your changes back to Jira, the Team in Advanced Roadmap will be added to the Teams field on your issues (if you have that configured), and any changes you've made to the team such as changes…
-
Hi @Bridgette Gigi The epic is still showing those issues because they're still part of your plan. The filter just removes them from showing on your timeline, but they're still part of your plan and thus your calculations. In order to have the calculation do what you're asking, you'll need to remove it from your plan using…
-
Hey @Pramodh M Unfortunately, the roll up function is only a visual planning tool in Advanced Roadmaps. Rolled up numbers can't be saved back to Jira. This is the case for a few reasons: one is that Jira Software doesn't yet support dynamic values in fields, meaning that a rolled-up date wouldn't automatically update on…

Hmmm, it sounds like you have a real mystery on your hands. Without seeing more of your site, I can't really help. What I'd recommend is that you reach out to Atlassian Support at support.atlassian.com/contact. They'll be able to help you troubleshoot your specific problem. Hope this helps,
-
Hi @rajasekhar maddela The first thing that stands out to me is that your JQL string is only specifying the Epic issue type. In order for it to find Epics, Stories, and Features, you'll need to add it, like this: project = "WiZink SuperApp" AND (issuetype = Epic or issuetype = Story or issuetype = Feature) AND resolution =…
-
Hi @Ian Rees The Auto-scheduler only touches issues that have been estimated. Any issues without one in your plan will simply be ignored. Cheers
-
This, plus it's also in Enterprise editions of Jira as well. edit: I didn't fully read your comment where it said "or above"
-
We're supporting the Server plugin version 3.29.x with security and stability updates but no new features. Since Advanced Roadmaps is included in the data center bundle, all new features will be shipped to DC only.
-
HI @Darrel Jackson, This is quite the doozy of a question. While you can use either method to set the initial estimate for the issue, Jira (and Advanced Roadmaps) bases its project planning and estimation functions on the Remaining Time Estimate field: things like boards and sprint planning use this field and not the…
-
They're the same thing @Sudheer Konikal. Advanced Roadmaps is included.
-
Hi Tara, Per your feedback, I've added "You may need to adjust your hierarchy filters in the Filters menu for them to show on your timeline." to the Configure custom hierarchy levels in Advanced Roadmaps page. Cheers Eddie
-
Hi @Sudheer Konikal I'm Eddie, I work on Advanced Roadmaps. As of 8.15, Advanced Roadmaps is now included with Jira Data Center. There's no need to download or install a plugin; once you activate your DC license, it's good to go. The other plugins you mentioned probably aren't included which is why you have to manually add…
-
Hi @Sangeeta Gautam Quick question, is this project that you created a company-managed or team-managed project? If it's a team-managed project, we don't yet support those in Advanced Roadmaps, so they won't show. We do have support for this coming shortly, and you can follow updates on its progress…
-
Hey @Dominic Pezet It sounds like you might be interested in Advanced Roadmaps' Releases feature. The long and short of it is that you can set releases to appear on your timeline. There's a few different ways to configure them: you can set a hard date for your release, and then plan your progress against it, or you can set…
-
Hi @Steve Kubota I don't think the exact functionality that you're looking for doesn't exist in Advanced Roadmaps. However, you can change the amount of completed issues that display in your plan so once a project has been done for X days, it's automatically removed. The instructions to do this can be found on the Change…
