Hi @Calvin Have your team lead go into the View settings, and make sure they're sorting by Ranking (default). If they sort by another value, it overrules the rankings. Let me know if this help. Cheers Eddie

@Debbie Jolley My apologies, I thought I got everyone with my comment, but apparently didn't.

Hello all; First of all, I want to offer my deepest apologies to this group. The behavior that you all mentioned wasn't supposed to happen and was the result of me misconfiguring something in UserInterviews. Normally, we don't ask that much information, and I am really sorry I didn't catch this before it went live.…

Hi @Kristi Yager Out of curiosity, in your plan configuration, is your team's issue source set to a board or a project? To see sprints, you need to use the board as the issue source (since that's where sprints are created and live). Eddie
-
Hi @Sebastian Vanauer, You can also use custom fields, if you have them configured in your plan. Cheers Eddie
-
Hi @Morgan Yu A few questions and thoughts: 1. For your first question, are the issues already scheduled in the backlog assigned to the team using the Team field? This has to be explicitly configured, which might block it from showing since it doesn't know in which teams' queue to put it. 2. For the changes made on the…

Hi @Renni Verho If you haven't already, please consider raising a help ticket at https://support.atlassian.com/contact/. If this is a bug on our end, we'll be able to sort it quickly. Cheers Eddie

Hey @Lori Surapaneni The Program board uses the same data as the rest of your plan, including the same start and end date fields. If you change those values in the Program board, they'll be reflected in the rest of your plan. But because it's meant for quarterly planning (at most 13 weeks of work), the idea is that it…

Hi @Jennifer D Smith Sorry, I misunderstood your question. That capability does exist in Plans, it's just referred to as Capacity planning. In order to see it, your plan needs to be configured as described on this page, the biggest piece of the puzzle being to use Boards as an issue source for your plan and that you group…
-
Hey @Jennifer D Smith Thanks for your feedback. In order for us to put it into the right work queues, can you raise this as a product request? Cheers Eddie

@Sander van Laarhoven It finishes rolling out this week, so hopefully you'll see it soon! Edit: unless your site is on release tracks, in which case it'll reach your site by November 12th.
-
Hi @Frank Klein Koerkamp @Joshua Vermillion @Andrei Eleodor Sirbu We did have a brief site issue yesterday that caused some UI issues. It should be fixed now. Hopefully, your planning goes smoother from here out :)
-
HI @Kenneth L Brister Sorry to hear you're having trouble with this. I'm not 100$ sure what's going on, but I'd recommend reaching out to support for help. They'll be able to troubleshoot with you and answer your questions with more clarity. Cheers Eddie

@Lori Surapaneni the program board only looks at issues with an active status ("To to" or In progress"). If you're planning for Q4 which is a few months away, and you don't want to include the work that's already scheduled but still in one of those status categories, then we recommend tagging the issues you want to include…

That explains why you can't see the menu option I mentioned. Sorry about that. In terms of what help I can offer from DC, we have a page in the documentation about how to find missing issues in Advanced Roadmaps but I think you've done most of these steps. At this point, I'd recommend reaching out to support.
-
@Leyla Kinaze are you on a Cloud site or the DC version of Jira?
-
HI @Lori Surapaneni The dates at the top of the columns are generated when you create your board. That said, these dates do not update when you add sprints because a column contains multiple sprints for different teams, which themselves might not align on one set date range. When you add sprints to the board then drag an…
-
@PJB Quick to add on to @Kuğbe's comment: if you're on Cloud, the documentation for this procedure can be found here. (The version they linked is for DC/Server)
-
Hey @Leyla Kinaze My first thought is that they're being filtered out because they're done, but you seem to have had that thought as well. Plans actually has a tool that can help you find missing issues. In your Plan settings, go to Find your issue in the sidebar, and search for one of those that doesn't come up. (Full…

Hi @João Tiago Candeias Correia The Program board focuses on scheduling issues at the story level. You can roll the information of these stories up to the Epic level (and infer the details of the Epic from the scheduled stories), but the Epics themselves aren't able to be scheduled on the Program Board. We made this…

Hi @David Vojtko You're right that the Dependencies report has been in Early Access for a long time (about four years, at this point). Honestly, I'm not sure when the Early Access moniker will be removed. That said, the version included in DC is very stable, and the documentation for the Dependencies Report in Jira DC is…
-
@alampreave sorry about that. The page has been updated :) Note that it's still rolling out, so you might not see it yet.

Hi, everyone I'm Eddie, a designer working on Plans and Teams. Sorry about the mass tag (and my equal apologies to anyone I've missed). I'm reaching out to you based on your comments here. I'm doing some research around Teams and their use in Plans, and you sound like you have strong opinions about this that I'd love to…
-
Hi @Chuck Oleary It is possible! On your timeline, select the sprint that you want to edit, then click on the number itself. This allows you to subtract capacity from your team based on individual absences. Here's the link to our docs that talk about it more
-
Edit: Ignore my first question; I didn't read your response well enough. @Sari Kachorovsky you might not have adequate permissions then. Are you a Site administrator? I'm going to ask around and get an answer.
-
Hello @Sari Kachorovsky, Sorry to hear you're having problems. With the migration of Teams to the new platform, the Edit and Delete functions no longer live in Advanced Roadmaps. To delete them, you'll now need to go to the Teams tab and delete them from there. Please note that this requires Site administrator permissions…
-
Hi @Lesley Monro The biggest impact you'll see will be in performance, both in your plan's initial load time as well as the responsiveness of your plan once its loaded. The cause has less to do with the issue sources themselves, and more about how Advanced Roadmaps loads issues into your plan. We talk about it more on the…

@Stefan De Troch This sounds like something that might need to be escalated to our customer service. Reach out to them at support.atlassian.com/contact. They're usually pretty quick to respond and also very nice :) Sorry I can't be more help Eddie
-
Hi @Stefan De Troch, It sounds like you want to assign issues to a different sprint. To do this, make sure that the Sprint field is showing on your timeline, then select the sprint you'd like to assign it to. One quick thing, though: if you're trying to use capacity planning, you'll need to use Boards as the issue source…

Hello @Samrat Balakrishna This is a feature that's been heavily requested, and we're gathering interest on it right now. To see when there's updates, I recommend following this feature request ticket. When there's movement on this feature, they'll be posted there. Cheers Eddie
