Thanks for this FAQ, found my answer there.

Yes! Strategy Collection in regulated environments and Rovo Subagents

You don't have to got to marketplace apps for that phenomena, because Statuspages are a better tool for reporting the past than hinting to live problems. AFAIK even Atlassians Statuspage is not reporting live about incidents. I would go so far to say, that whenever we were affected by a large scale incident, that was…

I recommend adding "per team" at the end of the second sentence of your headline. It is more precise to the then following content and it's something that I can say we as a company group are working towards. Whenever we install AI and/or automations into a process we always make sure to elevate at least one person - and if…

@Jeffery Candiloro I'm normally front and center when it comes to critically second guessing decisions Atlassian is doing, but with the range and sheer mass of customers Atlassian has, a single-module focused developer or solution engineer will not do a better job here, as the impacts will differ heavily between customers…
-
I really appreciate the series. Atlassian should give out more material for deciders, especially C-Level - not only for Trust Center.
-
The target of your link says, that I'm not allowed to view the content, although I was asked to file a permission request - which I did. A good third one pager would be about Continuity Management / Desaster Recovery

@Greg D As to the why, fortunately my company can just play the "it's in the law, dude." card, but we probably wouldn't. Every fresh employee in our company gets some onboarding courses. In these courses - aside from general compliance and information security education - there is a course about risk management and how we…

Hi @Viswanathan Ramachandran I totally see your point as I said. And I would be thrilled to see this product to happen, but I fear it would be easier and less resource consuming, mind boggling for existing customers, painful for admins, etc. if they just build a whole new product in parallel to get there. Recollecting how…

Great idea coming out of the right questions asked, but I think you missed one side-note here, that can change the perspective. For me the current status quo already is exactly the picture you paint. For me Jira, Confluence etc. are already different UI views on data living in the Teamwork Graph. As everything that you do…

"Never run something you didn't touch" is a philosophy that can save your head out there. I think it applies here too. So review it, review your process, find the right people and place, built safety switches and human loops and then put it in.
-
It's not possible. Users and groups in Atlassian are unique. Therefore 1 IdP <-> 1 user/group <-> 1 Org
-
I agree and we are not fully into the setup, yet. But if I will be the one to decide this - which I hope - than we will not close the general usage down, but what appears to be the "normal Rovo" is really an agent that is created by our AI app store on the base of the MCP data and Rovo engine and re-distributed to be…
-
You can always define what the step is that the agent takes here. Even in an automation, the output could just be an evaluation that is documented as an internal comment, on which then a human is reviewing and acting. So yes, having this there has some risks, but if you chose the people in your organisation carefully that…

Governance is needed on all levels. We as a heavily regulated company, that still wants to implement AI for process efficiency tasks are aware of that. Our plan going ahead will probably be to use our own build AI App Store internally, that is using self-hosted models and 3rd party via MCP. So all the logging, barriers,…

YES! 100%, yes! This is a pain. I still have a corpse of an org in my list, that a support ticket couldn't get rid of. We will be on Enterprise soon and I hope this will give me the big hammer to squash this one at last. But in the end, this is WAY too painful of a process and WAY too easy for users to accidentally cause…

I think it's unfortunate, that you're not giving yourselves the time to solve at least the biggest gaps like: Approvals not being restrictable, new rule structures limiting your pacing even more and making the process vulnerable to racing conditions. That's not a good timing for a switch in my opinion.
-
I was really looking forward to seeing skills there that could allow me to get rid of maintenance tasks with automations. The skills I see here seem rather pointed at troubleshooting - which in my opinion is a lot harder for an AI to do well.

As OpsGenie is a part of Jira Service Management, look for the SOC2 of JSM. Kind regards Richard

I 100% feel you, my brother-in-neuro. My ADS brain is whipping my body's energy resources relentlessly every day. I happily support you on your mission and applaud your journey so far. Good dopamine hunting!

There already have been cases of uncontrolled behaviour of AI models or Agents based on them. Some were even in national television news as they were affecting governments. So yeah it stays a touchy topic in itself. My company is heavily regulated and therefore has some standards of controls and checks to uphold which…

I think you nailed the format for exec levels. And all of your considered topics sound helpful to me. I would especially like to see Vulnerability Management to be done next.

Document once, reuse everywhere is key. Just every question, every explanation you do can be reused if you do it via Loom or with a Confluence Content. So I have a hidden page in my CUG by now in which I drop everything which I ever used to explain something to someone that is digital and linkable, Teams Chats, Loom…

thanks for the praise!

Thanks! This will help for sure.

I posted my creation, but I can't tag it with the described tag

Thanks for the info mail. When does this exactly happen? Because for us - and maybe others - access to JSM and to Assets is not the same people with the same scope of work, so overwriting our current Assets roles with all our JSM Agents and Admins could be security breaking.
-
Hi from Germany here! We managed to go through this and we had some trouble where we didn't expect them (yes, I look at you Teams!) and some areas where we were absolutely dreadful about and that went smooth and without any work for us. I would rather offer you a call then describe the thing in full length here. My…

We already had Okta in place as we started with Atlassian Cloud, so we already had Okta handling dynamic groups, SSO and 2FA before Atlassian Guard. While we still have AD and AAD in place and handle rights there, all that Atlassian sees and interacts with is Okta.
