Just like your other demo, I've added this demo to the unofficial Apptoberfest board, to make it easier to find and browse all submissions.

I've added your demo to the unofficial Apptoberfest Demo board. Let me know if you require any changes to the entry.
-
Thanks for adding it to the Jira project @Elena_Elevatic. The demo is now Published here on the unofficial Apptoberfest board!
-
That cake is looking great @Sean Manwarring _Izymes_ I've added your demo to the unofficial Apptoberfest Board, that makes it easier to find and browse all the entires. Let me know if you want me to make any changes.

Hi @Khawla Issaoui Creativas I've added your entry to the Apptoberfest Demo Board to make it easier for folks to browse submissions this year. Let me know if you need me to make any adjustments.
-
Looking great @Paul Clark _Redmoon Software_ I've added your entry to the Apptoberfest demo board to make it easier to browse submissions. Please take a look at and let me know if something looks off. If the category I've picked doesn't match with what you had in mind, let me know and I'll move it.

Great demo! Added it to the board here: https://hub.released.so/apptoberfest-25/roadmap/16721d6d/issue/19268

I'll have one of those @Elena_Elevatic! 🍹 I've added your this one to the unofficial Apptoberfest board already, so no need to submit. You can find it here: https://hub.released.so/apptoberfest-25/roadmap/16721d6d/issue/19284

Nice work getting the first Apptoberfest submission in. The Google Sheet embed in Confluence looks great! 🎉 To make it easier to explore all the entries this year, we’ve put together a board where every submission will be collected in one place. It’s a much faster way to browse, and you can even leave feedback:…

@Ahmud Auleear reading through the comments, it seems like the problem people have is not necessarily with the location of the button, but with the fact that it's not longer visible when scrolling the content area. For what it's worth, that would be the same problem on the sidebar as well for work items with lots of…

Apologies @lchidester I realized i posted the wrong link 🤦♂️ https://community.atlassian.com/forums/App-Central-articles/Customer-Feedback-in-Jira-and-Jira-Product-Discovery/ba-p/3098107

Released might be worth a look as well. More here: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-questions/Form-for-customer-feedback-in-Jira/qaq-p/2537202

It's worth noting that @Jack Brickey's suggestion refers to using Jira Automation to periodically update the field.
-
Hey @Alec Dewell For more granular sharing control based on email addresses or email domain, take a look Released. Users can log-in with a magic link, Google or Atlassian accounts. You can create multiple roadmaps, tailored to different stakeholder groups in a single portal. For an example, take a look…

This is a good start, but one question. Why didn't you just take the UI from JPD and apply it here as well? No offense intended, but component look horrendous in comparison to JPD.
-
Hi Bryan, It might be worth taking a look at Released for the release notes use-case. It makes it easy to consolidate delivered ideas and generate release notes based on the descriptions. Cheers, Jens
-
Hi Ksenia, If you want to capture feedback without linking it to ideas right away, you could take a look at Released in the Atlassian marketplace. That would also help work around the current idea limit @Andrei Bacanu
-
Fair feedback @Andrei Bacanu. I'm sure someone from the JPD team will see this.
-
@Olha Yevdokymova_SaaSJet this is what bothers me about your post. You imply that using apps built on Connect poses a risk, which is not the case at all. There is a straightforward path to Forge for most Connect apps, but it depends on the vendors' priorities and when they choose to migrate. Just because they are on…

There is a lot of background noise in the video, making it a bit difficult to hear. However, I think I grasped the main points. I believe what you demonstrated is already available in JPD, where you can define formulas based on several fields. I also think that feature will eventually be integrated into Jira itself.
-
We don't have Rovo enabled on our instance yet, so can't try this. But you might be able to achieve this using a combination of the release notes agent and the new publish page action. For more flexibility, you could also explore 3rd party tools like Released.
-
The only way to do this would be to sync clickup with a Jira project and show the progress that way. But then again, might as well use Jira for non-development tasks.
-
@Sherwin Soriano in Atlassian's defense, it's not as simply as you suggest or might think. There are thousands of engineers contributing changes every hour and shipping daily. Atlassian also has release tracks for Premium and tiers and above, in which new features are bundled. There is a separate release announcement for…

It's great that you guys wrote a simple Forge app generator. But creating FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt) is not the way to market in the ecosystem. No successful app will just "stop working". Not only do the customer's workflow depend on it, but the vendors livelihood. That very livelihood is a much better insurance…
-
Jira does have in-app release notes as well where every change gets published. See the image below on how to access it.
-
Hi @Sherwin Soriano I also found it hard to keep up with changes in the Cloud products. In the spirit of "be the change you seek", I've created a site that makes it easier to filter updates by product, subscribe via RSS or download changes in PDF or CSV format. You can find it here: https://cloud-updates.released.so/ Hope…

Not that this will be immediately helpful, but Atlassian is removing the plain text renderer and will be moving all fields to wiki style rendering. Although I'm not sure what the timeframe is. More info here: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-articles/We-re-removing-the-default-text-renderer-in-Jira/ba-p/3025886

Jira Product Discovery doesn’t include a customer-facing Ideas Portal. It’s mainly designed for internal teams to capture, organize, and prioritize ideas. If you’re looking for a way to collect feedback directly from customers and link it back to Jira, tools like Released are built for exactly that. With Released you can:…

@David Nadri feel free to reach out if you want an invite to the private beta. We are aiming for a public release in 2-3 weeks. You can sign up here: https://www.released.so/feedback

@David Nadri sorry about the late response. Missed the notification. We don't use JPD hierarchies yet. That would certainly be another way of tackling this. In addition to the Epics I've mentioned above, we have a "Product area" field for higher level grouping of requests. For us this is at the level of Changelog,…
