Could you link to a single page, but allow teams to provide links to their unique guidance documents there? Not ideal, but probably as good as it gets without using space specific fields.
-
I can't speak for the JPD team, but IMHO it seems highly unlikely that you will be able to make space level customisations to the description of a global field. Probably not a very common use-case. You could explore third party tools like Released Hub or BetterBoard, which allow you to combine multiple JPD spaces in a…
-
@Apoorv Sahai Just adding one more option to the list. Similar to JXL above, BetterBoard let's you combine multiple spaces, including JPD, Jira Software and even Service Management and Customer Service spaces onto a single board. There is no requirement to keep fields consistent, as you can freely map the fields from each…

@Rick Austin you might also want to take a look at Released Hub in the Atlassian marketplace. It already does everything you're asking for and more. Here is an example of a portal created with it: https://hub.released.so

@Dr Valeri Colon _Connect Centric_ we are doing final testing for Released Hub – AI Release Notes, Roadmap and Feedback Portal and hope to publish the Forge version of the app this week or next. It was a much bigger undertaking as initially anticipated. Which was made more complicated by the need to support both Connect…

@eaigner like others have pointed out, there isn't an easy way to achieve what you are after. The only option I can think of is to use filters to hide items that are done. If you want a little more flexibility, including the ability to easily hide items that are done, take a look at BetterBoard in the marketplace. In…

An option you can explore is using a marketplace app like Released It allows you to create a portal to share your roadmap and collect feedback directly on the roadmap or through various other channels. I’m one of the co-founders. Happy to answer any questions you may have.

Hi @Trent Hui Adding global Paragraph fields to JPD doesn’t actually work the way it does in standard Jira projects. JPD has its own field system, and custom fields are limited to short text (255 characters). There’s no way to add additional rich text or multi-line text fields beyond the built-in Description. This has been…
-
@Jamie Koch Out of interest, how are you embedding the roadmap in your website?
-
Thanks to the JPD team, who jumped on the issue and resolved the problem over the weekend.
-
Thanks @Bonnie Jackson, I'll take a look at the competition and submit a demo.
-
Hi @Emily Owayni, I'm one of the founder of Released (released.so). Feel free to get in touch if you would like to see a demo: https://cal.com/released/demo We don't have a Salesforce integration at this stage, but feedback via Slack is a couple of weeks out and we are also looking at adding more integrations and APIs in…
-
Hey @Josh Apologies, you're correct of course. The automation button is only available in the standard Jira views. I would hope that it's coming to JPD soon though.
-
Great suggestions @Josh I guess If the user wants to manually trigger it, they could always trigger the automation manually via the Automations dropdown. That might be even easier than a dropdown field.

Hi Stephanie, Short answer: not really, at least not in a reliable way. A “public link” by definition means anyone on the internet can access it. You can add noindex headers or robots.txt rules, but those only work for well-behaved search engines. They don’t stop generic crawlers, link scanners, security bots, or anyone…

Hi Michael, You can’t make Plans/JQL “look up” JPD idea status directly, but you might get close by mirroring idea data onto the epic and planning off that. The basic pattern is: keep one or two epic fields in sync with the linked idea, then use those fields in your plan filter. Concretely: create epic fields like…

Hey @Darryl Lee , it also made an appearance here: https://cloud-updates.released.so/2026-02-09/all#announcement=FD-151647-confluence But seems like no rollout dates were specified and it appeared for the first time in this weeks updates as "Rolling out".
-
My guess is that the user was added to the jira-software-users group and gained access to the other spaces via that group. Check the groups for the user and ensure they are not a member of any groups. Another reasons could be that the other spaces are accessible to every user on the instance, in which case you'd have to…
-
@Charlie Marriott what is the timeframe to make Goals and Projects accessible to Forge apps?
-
@Umer Sohail _K15t_ the comments Atlassian writes are written on the public tickets. I know, because me and my team used to write those updates.
-
Hi @Krista Seidl To show ideas back to back, you will need to disable Sorting in the view. After doing so, you'll be able drag ideas onto the same line.
-
Hey @Martijn ten Caat you can use 3rd party app like Released to implement customer voting (I'm one of the founders). But I would also recommend reading my article on why simply letting customers vote for ideas might be a bad idea, and what to do…
-
@Matt Doar as @Chris Cooke mentioned, I needed a good clickbait title... nobody would click on "Changing JAC" 😊
-
@John Funk Keeping wishes private actually helps avoid bandwagon voting. You get more honest input instead of everyone just piling onto the most popular ideas. JAC the way it is today isn’t very useful for prioritizing features. And constant updates on a public tracker aren’t really a product manager’s main job. I’d rather…
-
Hi @Francisco Sanchez I'm one of the founders of Released, the app @Daniel Pierce mentioned in this thread. Providing a tailored view for stakeholders and the ability to comment and provide feedback separately from internal comments is what we designed the app for. Our public roadmap is a good example of what the…
-
@Tine Marie Uldal it's worth noting that the term workspace is already used in another Atlassian product: https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/what-is-a-workspace
-
@Metin _savignano software solutions_ informs everyone about the status (informative, even if it is not considered or neglected) I wonder if it creates more uncertainty than it informs though. It gives the illusion of being a "known issue", when most likely it isn't a priority at all.
-
@Tim Eddelbüttel the workarounds are useful for sure.
-
@Alex Koxaras -Relational- that's a good use-case. Appreciate it! We actually started building our feedback features by taking a step back and identifying the problems with JAC and other solutions. It's really the small things, such as limiting the number of votes per person or adding the option to hide them in order to…

That's my point @Rustem Shiriiazdanov _Actonic_, JAC does no longer serve the intended purpose. At the same time, I am curious if anyone is still getting value out of having JAC.
