Not quite sure I understand the question, you can customize the fields in a view, including which fields are pinned, on a view by view basis. Maybe I'm missing a requirement?
-
Another option is to use JPD alongside Released. With this setup, you can create a public roadmap and changelog, then either embed them on your website, or share them through a dedicated public portal for your customers.

Welcome to the community @Balthazar Lang

Hi @Jonny, could you share a bit more about the type of information you’d like to include in your release notes? A screenshot or example would be great—it could help us explore alternative solutions that might better address your needs.
-
The JPD team seems to be working on this feature. It's not possible right now.

Hi @Ashleigh Hamilton A couple observations and recommendations. Duplicating tickets Duplicating tickets is rarely a good idea. In this case it allows the engineers to work out of one project, but it creates a lot of overhead for you and others. Is that worth it? Is going accessing a separate project really that much of a…

And as for data: A survey done on Linked in showed quite a different preference, with lots of folks in the comments preferring the term “ticket”. And it wasn't even close. Out of 551 votes, Task received 198 votes. "Item" was an early favorite, but lost the lead after 100 votes. Item: 17% Work item: 19% Tasks: 36% Let me…

Why not use a term like 'ticket’? Somehow the answer to that question completely avoided answering the question. Ticket seems to be the most common term used that’s understood by technical and non-technical audiences.

@Tanguy Crusson I don’t think Max was suggesting that JPD would replace Jira for delivery planning. the question, how I’ve read it, was around the relationship of an idea and an Epic. I myself find that Epics often seem redundant and I would prefer to go from Idea straight to Stories and Tasks. But then you‘ll lose the…

To clarify, you want to pull them into where specifically? If you’re talking an out the list or card view, you won’t be able to display details from linked tickets.
-
Are you talking about this app from the Atlassian marketplace or which Gantt Chart are you referring to? https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211768/wbs-gantt-chart-for-jira-enterprise-project-management If that is the app you are using, there seems to be a free 10-user tier. As long as your Jira instance has less than…
-
Probably worth flagging with Atlassian (pun partly intended). That's a pretty major oversight. Can't imagine it would take them long to add it though.
-
@Graziano Liberati you can paste that link into Confluence, and it will render the timeline in Confluence. However, it won't render the timeline when the page is shared viewed anonymously. I would be surprised if it worked any different for a shared plan.
-
@Cynthia MacHatton, I don't think this is a message from Atlassian. It sounds like the announcement is related to this app: https://help.tempo.io/timetrackerlite/latest/
-
Alternatively you could check for the statusCategory instead: statusCategory = Done
-
@Tomislav Tobijas, if you want to share issues from other Jira products, take a look at Released in the Atlassian marketplace. Released is product agnostic, and even allows you to create views across multiple projects and project types. Views can be shared by embedding them in your website, app or via a centralized portal…

Have you considered removing the breadcrumbs, which really don't serve a purpose anymore in this navigation and take up vertical space? The same is true for the large header. Which could be moved below next to the navigation, or even removed completely to make more space.
-
Understood. So these are bugs found during internal testing that are proactively communicated with the customer. That makes sense.
-
Could you be a little more specific? What is it that doesn't work well for you? What project types are you using? From the sound of it, you are looking for boards in Jira software projects, not Product Discovery?
-
Hey @Jaime Matus , You could take a look at Released as a workaround. In Released, you can create a board view that cuts across multiple projects, also including Jira Software. The shared components could live in their own JPD project, or simply be part of another project. Keep in mind that these views are purpose built…
-
Hi @Andrew Lintag, alternatively you could take a look at Released. It allows you to create a board view with tickets from Jira, JPD and JSM project, specifically build for presenting project plans / status.
-
Hey @Fernando Borges could you elaborate what you mean with "open a form"? Isn't that what the Issue Collector does today? Would be great to understand your use-case. Jens
-
Sorry, I missed the data-center tag.
-
Just to state the obvious. One way you could do it with the out of the box versions, is by removing the project tasks from the version before releasing. But I assume that's not what what you were after.
-
Hi @Shivaprasad Hattaraki Unfortunately there is no easy way to exclude project planning issues from the release notes using the out-of-the-box Releases feature in Jira. However, if that is a requirement and you are looking for more flexibility, you might want to take a look at third party apps in the marketplace. Released…
-
Hi @Adrian.Lester I don't think this is currently possible in JPD. As a workaround, you could take a look at Released Roadmaps, which does enable you to create a JQL filter that only displays items for 2 weeks. Take a look at this post for how it works. Caveats: - Released doesn't support grouping yet. - The board can not…
-
@Denise Lydia Ellis I think relying on feature requests and votes might not be the best way to prioritize this. The main goal, as I see it, is to make Jira easier to use for people outside of Development and IT, and to get more teams across the business on board. Those users aren’t really represented in the current…

For anyone still looking for a better solution than granting anonymous access or taking screenshots: Take a look at Released. Released allows you to create simple views of your internal Jira roadmaps in seconds. Use filters and display options to share just the right amount of detail with your stakeholders or customers.
-
@Sami Atieh Scroll Viewport might be worth a look for a public KB. It has the ability to setup authenticated access: https://help.k15t.com/scroll-viewport/set-up-authenticated-access The other benefit is that it's compatible with Released, mentioned by Aron above.
-
@jovol It's not possible using the release notes feature provided by Jira. If you want a little more flexibility and automation, take a look at Released.
