Hi @Jessica Medforth Another alternative is a to use an app like Released. There are a few benefits: * It helps you generate the release notes from your Jira tickets. * Generates dynamic pages that won't show up in the search. * Provides additional filtering capabilities. * Allows users to subscribe to updates via email.…

Thank you for taking the time to write this comprehensive answer @Mikel Garcia Bartolome. Lot's of great points in there! Love the "visibility into different versions of the product roadmap" of the roadmap. With teams being more remote, moving more and more to asynchronous information retrieval seems to be the way to go.…

Hey Rob, If they have an account on your instance, you should check the permission schemes or access controls of the Jira projects and ensure none of the groups they are a member of has access to those projects. That should lock down access.

Hi @Levi Palmer , you are right. I missed that JPD uses a different format. After a little bit of research and trial and error I figured out a viable solution. 1. Create variable Copy a re-formatted JPD value into a variable called targetDate (you can choose a different name). Use the following for the smart value:…

You can use Jira Automation to move the idea after a specified date is reached. Here’s how you can set it up: 1. Create a New Automation Rule: * Go to Project Settings and select Automation (or navigate to System Settings > Automation Rules for a global rule). * Click Create rule. 2. Set the Trigger: * Choose the Scheduled…

@Christian Happel would love to have a chat. We are exploring how we might be able to make this process simpler. Feel free to get in touch directly via jens at released.so

@Martina Canesi have you tried the Jira Product Discovery Chrome extension? It's a quick way to capture feedback and it automatically links back to the original source: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/jira-product-discovery/flacajjkcnlngpeapmnmignmjgddamah

I've reported it as a bug to Atlassian.

Hi @jakereinig , I reproduced the issue and can confirm that the invite button doesn't work. With that being said, the users should still be able to access the project. By default, all users with application access should be admins in the project. See screenshot below.
-
Did you check the access settings in the project? Company-managed: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/manage-project-permissions/ Team-managed: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/next-gen-permissions/

Thought it might be useful to share the perspective of someone who worked at Atlassian during that transition... and the thinking/reasoning/causes behind it. 1. Force/coerce your users to go through a migration process onto a subscription cloud model. Atlassian started looking at the cloud model in 2006. Back then, we…

Stai effettuando una query su progetti gestiti dal team o dall’azienda? Se è un progetto gestito dal team, il campo che desideri controllare si chiama “parent”. Consulta il seguente articolo per maggiori…

@David Nadri If the existing feature has an existing Epic or Idea, you could link each improvement idea to that ticket. If it doesn't exist, you could create it. Tagging could work as well, but it might get a little out of hand over time. Linking issues is a cleaner approach until proper hierarchies exist in JPD.
-
#2 is most certainly the preferred way of organizing ideas. Separate ideas allow you to * More easily discover what ideas have been raised already. * Gather insights related to each individual idea. * Use the prioritization tools in JPD to prioritize the ideas. * Link the idea to a delivery ticket when the time comes to…

The first thing to check is whether it's a permission issue and you are no longer an admin for the project.

The challenge with using the project target field as columns is the potential infinite number of options and therefore columns. I assume that the JPD team has limited column fields to fields that generally have a smaller number of options. As for a workaround, I've seen teams create a custom field for target quarters and…

@Froukje van de Weg we had the same issue with continuous releases. So when we built Released, to generate release notes from your Jira tickets, we made sure that it's super easy to include all issues that were resolved since the last release. Try the demo to see if that's what you are after. Released allows you to publish…
-
@Tim Maynard there are a few ways Released roadmaps differ: Anonymous access Viewers don't need to log in and don't require an Atlassian account to view the publicly published roadmaps. Cross-project You can publish a roadmap that includes ideas from multiple JPD projects or even Jira Software projects, all on one board.…

Thanks for the shoutout @Rob Mkrtchian _CAIAT_US_! @Martijn ten Caat feel free to get in touch if you want to learn more about Released. We are building out public roadmap sharing as we speak. Collecting feedback will follow shortly after. You can sign up for the beta here: https://www.released.so/roadmaps

Hey @Rob Mkrtchian _CAIAT_US_, They are, but we'll open it up to everyone in the next couple of weeks. Sign-up and I'll give you access: https://www.released.so/roadmaps Cheers, Jens

Hi @Jona Smulders Cohen, Take a look at Released and our public Roadmap feature: https://www.released.so/roadmaps It's currently in private beta with general release coming in the next few weeks. This is what our own shared roadmap looks like, powered by Jira Product…

Looking forward to meeting up again this year! You can find me and the Released team at the Atlassian Ventures booth on Tuesday and the Partner Popup on Thursday.

Love it! :)

Hey @Melanie Pasztor We felt the same frustration! And we found none of the existing tools integrated well enough with Jira. That's why we built one, it's called Released. You can find Released on the Atlassian marketplace. To summarize, Released can take any Jira tickets (not limited to versions) and generate great…

Hi @Joanna Cesarz You can most certainly add an additional description field. I'm uncertain what you mean with "tab". By default, there are three sections you can add a new field to. When using the Paragraph field, it will give you a rich text editor that also allows you to store images and URLs. Maybe a bit more context…

Thanks for the update @Amina Bouabdallah and well done team! @Steven Bladeni could you elaborate what you mean with "proper swim lanes and drag and drop structuring"? You can create swim lanes through grouping. What is it that you are missing?
-
Hi Matthew, JSM has the concept of "internal customers", which you can use to restrict access. For more detail, see this announcement posted in the community last year: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Management/Limit-access-to-issues/qaq-p/2599452 Cheers, Jens

Could you provide some more context? * What type of project is it (team or company managed? * What does the configuration of the project look like?

Hi @[deleted] , I'm afraid you might not get many responses to the above topics. Each of those points alone is probably too complex to answer in a forum. I would suggest to break these out into individual posts and ask more concrete questions. For example security. That alone is a very broad topic. Are there any specific…

@Oshadhi Vindhyani , the easiest way to think about Groups vs Teams is that Groups are considered an admin feature where Teams are more a, well, teams feature. Groups are used to grant access to applications and projects. Generally few users have the ability to customise groups. In larger organisations, groups are…
