I do hope that I will grow out of these, but I'll be in my masters program for another year and it does make sense that I'd have nightmares about school while I'm a student... And if getting married, adopting a dog, and having a kid is the true cure, that's probably a decade or so away! 😂

Great tips, Brant. :) I'm really sad Summit was cancelled, too, but I think this is a great learning experience and I hope even more people will have the chance to participate!

I don't know if this would be good "exposure therapy," but there's a company that built a life-sized version of this game. (I played it at Bauhaus Brew Labs last summer!) You get to BE the hippo. You lay on your stomach on a platform with wheels and bounce around to grab foam balls and stuff. It was so. much. fun. I wonder…

I keep having nightmares that I make it 90% of the way through my semester and then realize that I haven't been going to one of my classes at all. Which, it's obviously not the worst thing in the world that could possibly happen. But the sinking feeling in my stomach is always so real. And I've been having these dreams…

Hey Jereon! I bet there's a way we can get this done with Gliffy, but I might not understand exactly what your ask is. :) If I were trying to tackle a problem like this.. I might make one diagram of the system with no color blocks selected. You can publish it wherever you'd like in your instance. Then, on each page you…

I can confirm that I have two bins of clothing I'm scared to get out as well as multiple pairs of mittens I'm scared to put away. It seems as soon as I do, we'll get another blizzard! One of my favorite Minnesota memories was deciding to trudge through inches of snow to get to our favorite neighborhood bar on a Friday…

You're absolutely right. :) You can set links for each shape in your diagram, create "buttons" that sit to the side of your diagram, etc.

What's up from Minneapolis!!! I'm so glad you got to get your fluffball outside while it was so nice yesterday. I'm super lucky to live in an apartment, so this time of year requires zero yard work. I'm most excited to be able to run outside without the fear of slipping. ;) I'm also happy to leave the office while the…

Glad you name dropped us, Stephen. :) The Gliffy team is really proud of our product's linking & embedding capabilities. Using a diagram to organize your site navigation sounds like a great idea, too. Hopefully you can build it out and see how it works with your free trial, Matt!

I like the way you think. That's a really nice-looking electric bike, too!
-
This is so beautiful!!! I absolutely love it

This seems to be the only pic I have handy on my phone.. Maybe I'll drop in a better one for you guys on Monday :) (PS. I still have 3 of the 5 plants in this picture. My track record with keeping things alive is a little bit sketchy.)

I wish my boyfriend bought me something ridiculous every time he bought himself something unnecessary! hahaha

Oh gosh, maybe my cactus? I bought a 4 ft tall cactus about two years ago and I'm quite certain it's slowly dying. (I hope it gets enough sun in my new apartment to stage a comeback!) This cactus was more than $100. It is incredibly difficult to move. And it tipped over in my best friend's backseat as we tried to get it…

Well, to clarify, I'm sure that there were first aid kits around. But our cabinet is right by the coffee and they stock it with things like Emergen-C, too! ;)

Stay safe and healthy, everyone! I'm sure we're going to find ways to make the most of the Virtual Summit. I'm going to be brainstorming for what Gliffy can do to show up for you guys all day... Let me know if you have any ideas. :) On a human level, my LinkedIn profile is always creep-able and I'm kind of a dork about…

I'm particularly grateful for the community this morning. Nothing beats getting to hang out with people face-to-face, but I'm really glad Atlassian has created a space for us to talk year round. :)

I think this is such an eloquent response. :) Thanks, Poorvi.

Yeah.... I'm not so sure there are any policies like that in the United States. I absolutely love learning about these little cultural quirks!

I had to fax some paperwork when I started this job! That was a strange experience. One thing I really appreciated is that our office has a first aid cabinet. That sounds like such a small thing... but it was nice to know that they were thinking about the safety and comfort of everyone in the office right from day one!

That's a great question, but I don't have any recommendations! I bet someone else could chime in. I work in marketing, so I probably have a different point of view than what you're looking for. At my last job, I was assigned tickets occasionally for updates on our company website, but I didn't work very closely with any of…

Hi Toku! :) People around here are pretty nice. Definitely ask any Jira questions you might have. I've been here for a few months and I still feel like a bit of a newbie, too! ...and be sure to check out the Off-Topic section for the community's water cooler chats. I always try to participate in the Miscellaneous Monday…

Poorvi, your items #3 and #4 are so well-put! As marketers, the work we do is always sort of a hypothesis, you know? When it comes to working with people more attuned to there being a clear right and wrong (I imagine the tech industry is full of these thinkers in particular) marketing tends to turn up a lot of grey areas.…

This is so fascinating! I was really young during all these discussions and hype and I have truly never thought about what it would be like to work in tech during this time. I don't think my parents were particularly concerned. I have no memories of anything about it... it's just really cool to hear what you guys were…

Hahaha this has me laughing in my cube! I was five. So I'm not sure that your first or "translated" story is particularly relatable. ;)
-
That doesn't sound like an issue I've dealt with before, so you will need to reach out to support@gliffy.com so that they can dig into the details with you. I'm sorry I can't be of more help!
-
Hi Hoang—sorry your diagram isn't showing up! That's quirky and we definitely want to help you troubleshoot. Are other attachments working on that page? (It sounds like they are—just checking that this is specific to Gliffy!) We've also seen some mis-matched permissions where your diagram is inheriting a set of…

This is one of the coolest, most detailed, most fun articles I've read on community! I'm in business school right now and it's honestly better than a bunch of the case studies I've had to read for class this semester. ;) Hendrik, thanks for sharing so much about the strategy and energy behind SURFSTYK. I do totally agree…

@Andy - PTC Redundant No joke, I was stressed out and logged onto my computer suuuuper early this morning and saw your review. Made my day SO much better. :) Thank you!!!

This is so fascinating! I'd love to see your board or get a few pics of your goats! :)
