@Jon Nelson , the .txt entry is added to your DNS record. This is outside of your Atlassian site. Here is an example from GoDaddy on how to do that. If you your domain is parked somewhere else, they will be able to help you with your specific need. GoDaddy example: https://www.godaddy.com/help/add-a-txt-record-19232 Once…

I'm not sure you can get around that without exporting all your data, creating a brand new Site and then starting over. Atlassian may be able to work with you on the billing but you will need to reach out them directly. You can reach out to billing support here:…
-
@Elene , try this out. When logged into Atlassian Cloud: 1. Click the waffle (upper left-hand corner) and select administration. 2. Click on the Organization where you want to buy these products. 3. On the top of the screen you will see a link for billing. Click that. 4. Click on Manage Subscriptions next to one of the…

@Telematics Admin , Atlassian Support does watch the community boards but sometimes they miss a post or don't see it right away. The fastest way to get help with your issue is to open a support ticket directly with Atlassian Support. You can do this from within you Cloud site our by visiting support.atlassin.com. -pjd

@Sayi Kiran I update the link in my answer above.
-
@Jean-Christophe Rase , Assuming you have only the one DB server. You will want to shut down Jira before restarting the DB. The downside out weighs any upside. -pjd
-
@Ben Weisman , This is a common question. The way we handle this is to create multiple workflows. We name them like this: Project_Key : Issue_Type Workflow That way we know exactly what project and issue type the workflow is associated with when just looking at workflow. When we make updates or changes, we'll add a v2, v3,…

Hey, it looks like you are using a team managed project/board and not a company managed project/board. My advice isn't going to help you. :( Unfortunately, team managed projects don't have a deep customization that the company managed projects do. I should have asked which you were using initially. However, you can convert…

@Maxime Lefebvre _Okapya_ , Thanks for jumping in! - I figured it was an add-on of some sort just didn't know which one.

Safari Users Rejoice! You need to disable (uncheck) Prevent Cross-Site Tracking. Safari->Preferences->Privacy->Website tracking: (uncheck)

@Danelle Behan , You will need to access the space settings for the space you want to make private. From there you will see a Space Permissions tab/link. It's in this section you can add your team as a group or as individuals. Permissions configured here will cascade down to all pages within your space. -pjd

@Lisa Besteni , there really isn't going to be a 1:1 translation from scrum to kanban. I would look at the following reports to see if they help get you further along in reporting metrics. Average Age Report Created vs. Resolved Issues Report Resolution Time Report Time Since Issues Report Each one of these will give…

I don't think there is a property for priority (but. Could be wrong). I do know there is a request for this type of functionality. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-3821
-
@[deleted] , I don't think this is possible within the app so screen size/resolution is the solution, unfortunately. :( Just for additional information, here is an article for all that can be done to cards: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/customize-cards/ -pjd
-
@Vince Clark , unfortunately there is no easy way to do this since there are no resolution schemes in cloud. To solve this, you will need to add the resolution to the global list but then use the workflow properties to limit the options shown. Check out this article for specifics:…
-
Can you take a screen capture of the field? Got to settings-> Issues -> fields; find the field with the checkboxes and take a screen capture.
-
@[deleted] You will need to update the global resolutions. 1. Click on the Gear (settings) upper right hand corner 2. Select Issues from the drop-down 3. Scroll down the list on the left side of the page until you see Resolutions 4. Click on Resolutions and add the resolution of your choice. -pjd

@cprager , try using this JQL: watcher = currentUser() You can save it as a filter and add it to a dashboard using the Filter Results Macro. -pjd

@Paul Dokken , check this previous question out: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Atlassian-Access-questions/How-do-I-remove-an-organization-admin/qaq-p/1140954 -pjd

@Audra Bonacki A few thoughts: * I like to create a copy of the workflow that needs to be changed and make all my changes to the new copied version. Once I'm finished, I update the workflow scheme/s of the projects to use this new workflow. * I also like to add a v1, v2, v3, etc... to the end of the workflow name to easily…

A few more questions: * What type of field is this? Is it a standard Jira Checkbox field or one specific to an app. * Where are you trying to enter this query? I assume in the standard search? Can you confirm? Issues -> Search for Issues -pjd
-
@Some Guy , The syntax you have shown should work. I just tried this in my instance and the following JQL works for checkbox fields. "Custom Field Name" in (selection1,selection2,selection3) "Custom Field Name" not in (selection1,selection2,selection3) where Selection 1,2,3 are the names of the options. When using JQL,…
-
@Benjamin Peikes , not currently but there is a feature request open for this functionality. Take a look here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-45663 Watch & upvote! -pjd
-
@Revital Shalmoni If your Story is already a part of an epic, you can click on the card and the select the Epic Link from the quick view. This will open the Epic issue up. -pjd
-
If there is a server then its either linux or windows. Work with your Info Sec team to get the correct agent. They should also be able to provide installation instructions. Here are install instructions from Cloudstrike's site: https://www.crowdstrike.com/blog/tech-center/install-falcon-sensor/ gl -pjd
-
That was my way of adding information. Use the Key of the Epic issue. ABC-3456f or example. If you create the JQL query in Jira, Jira will auto suggest Epic Links which makes it a bit easier.
-
@Michelle Parsons , we have used two applications for this in the past. Elements Connect & Insights Asset Management https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212137/insight-asset-management?tab=overview&hosting=datacenter…
-
@Melanie Senn You can use JQL to select all of the tasks you just created. Then use the Bulk Change tool to Move the tasks to Sub-Tasks. When you select the Subtask issue type as the destination, you will be asked to select the new parent issue. This process works for both Cloud and self-hosted. -pjd
-
@bndiaye , In your Confluence page, use the Insert Jira Issue/Filter Macro. The Search JQL will be something like this: "Epic Link" = IssueKeyOfEpic. You can also choose which fields to display for each issue under Display Options. -pjd
-
@K Bollu , you can not install the agent to the cloud offering. You would need to be hosting Confluence internally (Datacenter) on your own hardware to meet this request. You can share the Cloud security documentation with them. Maybe that will help? https://www.atlassian.com/trust/security -pjd
