@Michelle Clements, OK, I spoke too fast - missed that you are in the cloud. :(
-
@Michelle Clements, This is what you want to use: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.obss.plugin.time-in-status/server/overview Its an add-on for Jira but makes what you are trying to accomplish very easy. .pd

@Asbjørn Nørgaard, Check this out. https://confluence.atlassian.com/agile/jira-agile-user-s-guide/working-with-issues/flagging-an-issue .pd

GL, on your upgrade.

@Divya Yathagiri Venkata, Spaces that big can be problematic. You will need to break it down in sections and move it that way. This can be tedious depending on the structure of your space. If you're looking for a fast way, @Shannon S, suggestion will be better.

@Celin Prakash, A few thoughts: * Check the permissions for the attachments folder on your server. Make sure the account running Jira has the ability to read/write to the directory. * Check the size limit for attachments both on Jira and your proxy if using one. (I know nginx limits file size by default). * A silly one but…

@Divya Yathagiri Venkata, You could also create you new space and key and move the pages to the new space. .pd

I don't know if I have ever seen that, but I'm not saying it's not there. It may not be Atlassian supported but it did work. I was also moving from OS (Linux - Windows) and Databases (HSQL - MS SQL)
-
@Joanna Choules, thanks for the confirmation that the script works. I found a typo in the field name. Fixing this fixed the problem. .pd

Test things out - you might need to install the same the version of the plug-in in the new system, restore and them upgrade the plug-in.
-
If I remember correctly, the last one I did was 4.5 to 6.5. Do a full backup from the existing system and a full restore. The data will be converted on restore. Have your plug-ins installed before the restore.
-
To reproduce on my system (not that it will be the same as yours) 1. navigate to the correct project. 2. Open an existing Story. 3. Click the Edit Issue button. 4. Click the correct tab. 5. Scroll down and check the checkbox. the requiredTextField is not required.

ok thanks. :)
-
I would enable it for things to work. It is in all my systems.

@Kristopher Kees, The Confluence Remote API Add-on is still there. Head over to your Manage Add-ons page, change the filter to System or All add-ons and do a browser search for Confluence Remote API. Make sure this is enabled. .pd
-
@Linda Petty, I have a few thoughts. Try upgrading Confluence first. The newer versions should support your version of Apache and MySQL. Once you are all upgraded and working you can follow up with the other upgrades. You could also try building a new Confluence server with the version of Apache and MySQL at the level you…

For anyone else reading this post. I have checked with a colleague of mine and he is also running SQL 2016 as the DB for all of his Atlassian apps so it does work even if it's not officially supported.
-
@AnnWorley, some feedback for the Atlassian Team. It seems strange that we would need to vote for the current version of SQL to tested for Atlassian products. I would expect that the big three, Oracle, MS SQL, and Postgres would be automatically tested for the major releases....
-
@Tayyab Bashir, IK did mis-understand. Sorry about that.
-
@[deleted], you could start with something like this for multiple projects: project in (project1, project2, project3) you could then extend the query with an AND or an OR for additional filtering.
-
Thanks for stopping back and adding your solution
-
phil, what version of jira is this? Is it cloud?
-
Thanks @AnnWorley. :)
-
OK, that's the right service. A few troubleshooting thoughts: * Check the logs to see if there is anything strange. * Make sure you are using HTTPS / HTTP whichever is appropriate. * Was confluence configured to require the port to be specified? * Can you access Confluence directly from the server? You may need to update…

@AndrewP, It sounds like a browser issue. Could you share one of the links with us? .pd

Forgot to add the link. :) https://confluence.atlassian.com/conf54/confluence-user-s-guide/creating-content/working-with-the-office-connector/editing-an-office-document-from-confluence

@Patricio Tituana, This feature has always been a pain to use. It always felt like it was half developed. Anyway, take a look at this doc from Atlassian. If one of the pre-requisites is off the whole thing will turn out badly. For the record, I don't recommend this to my users; ever. .pd
-
@IT_nyc, not sure about Atlassian's official stance on this but I think it will work. I believe we were running 2016 at my last place. Anyway, try it in a dev environment and see. As far as support ramifications, I would send a support request directly into Atlassian. I know they watch the Community but a direct issue…
