@Karen Ferland, It doesn't look like this is possible within Native Confluence. There is a feature request here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-44246. There may be an add-on that can accomplish this but I am not sure of one off hand. pjd

@Debra Donaldson, Open up the backlog view on your scrum board and find the active sprint. You should be able to click the end date and change it. pjd

@Alpesh kasodariya, check the Mail Settings under the Mail Server Page in Administration. You'll need to make sure there is a relay configured for sending mail. There is also a section there where you can send a test email. If that doesn't work, turn on debug logging under Logging & profiling and repeat Sending a Test…

That's correct. The new Issuetype would act as the glue for all the Epics. You would probably want to create a new issue link to make it a bit more customized.
-
No problem, I looked into this type of thing a while back and came to the same conclusion.
-
You would need to modify the .jar file file for the macro. This is pretty involved and since I am not a developer there's not much more I can help with. I recommend not doing this as it could cause problems when trying to upgrade. pjd
-
@Zeph Wong, Have you thought about using Epics to coral all your stories and tasks? You could use the Epic as a release/version and then it would act like a container for all related issues. You could then create an Agile board and use Swimlanes by Epic. This would help you track all the issues in each Epic and you would…
-
@adrianoatl, In short - No. :( You would need to modify the Jira Issue Macro or write your own. pjd

sh623.son@samsung.com, That's not going to work as each license key entitles you to a single server installation. This id from the Confluence Licensing FAQ: 7. How is Confluence Server licensed? A Confluence Server commercial/academic/starter license entitles you to: * Deploy a single instance of Confluence in a production…

@Ed Snow, Cool idea but the subscriptions don't work that way. I recommend building a dashboard for your managers and showing them how to access it. This is going to give them the best experience and more accurate. You could also take a look at EazyBI. This addon is great for reporting and I seem to remember them saying…

@Alpesh kasodariy, Make sure your mail server in bitbucket is configured and working. After that is confirmed, take a look at this document from Atlassian on how notifications works. https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/manage-inbox-and-email-notifications-325321743.html There is a section in there on configuring…
-
In addition to what Marcin has recommended above, You could also spin up a new project for each customer engagement. Jira isn't going to care much about the number of projects, as long as they are all sharing the same schemas and configurations. You could also take the approach of creating a new issuetype and then a link…

What Nic said. The Atlassian documentation is good and you should be able to follow along. Make sure you backup everything before just in case. pjd

We are also in process of moving to the lightning implementation but aren't quite there yet.

The one thing we ran into way initially they wanted SF to be the system of record and just push info to Jira. This ended up leaving a bunch of open SF cases as the teams working in Jira weren't going to go into SF to close the originating case. We eventually went to a push method where the case is pushed into Jira and then…
-
Steve, my hop uses and Salesforce/Jira combined system too. We use the Go2Group connector to sync the two. This might help if you have one team in SF and the other in Jira. Service Rocket also make a connector too.

@Bill Altmann, check this out: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.k15t.scroll.scroll-pdf/server/overview It's an add-on by k15t software for pdf exports from confluence. A colleague of mine was having a number of problem with the native pdf export and Scroll PDF work wonders for him. pjd

@David Simpson, The view in the backlog is a little different. There you have the option to specify what fields are show (with some limitations). The issue view is a bit different. As long as the field is on the view screen it will show up once there is data in it. If the custom field is empty. jira will hide the field.…
-
@Sam, If you only want to link information for example, linking a confluence page to a Jira ticket, you can use issue linking to link to a confluence page by providing the page URL or searching for the page in the Issue linking dialog box. Opn your Jira Issue -> More Button -> Link pjd
-
@Jose Augusto de Jesus Germano, We currently run that configuration for our DB so it will work fine for you. Performance is good just make sure you have enough resources on the server to support it. As an aside, while 2012 supports clustering you will need to manually fail it over. 2014 will provide you with true HA. pjd
-
@Steve Hayhurst, I'm not entirely sure about what you are trying to do here but it sounds like you'd like to use Jira to manage the workflow of your Flare documentation. If that's the case, check out this Blog article:…
-
@Lars Böhnke, I think you're on to it with that last question you posed. I start with a new status for holding all the new issues created. Call it whatever you like. The issues here are left unassigned. Once someone looks at them they can push the issue in one of two ways, either through a triaged transition which ends up…
-
@Nazim, Just a heads up, you will not see the little red asterisk denoting the field as required. The validator check will happen when the user tries to execute the transition. If the field is blank, they will receive a warning that it is required. pjd
-
@surender kallam, If you are using different workflows for each issuetype, you can use a validator on the issue creation link. Jira suite utilities will allow you to validate against project roles. Naked Jira may require specific user groups to be used. .pd
-
@Ankit Patel, It looks like you may need to export the full instance from cloud and then restore it in its entirety to server. If you already have a production Jira server try standing up a second test server, restore your cloud to that server, then export / import individual projects from test to production.…

:( - thanks for posting the answer back!

@Michael Lee, have you thought about using sub-tasks or linked issues to specifically track the deployment in each environment? .pd
-
@Thomas Bithell, configure windows to show extensions and make sure that file shows an extention of .exe. .pd
-
@Petter Nordqvist, sounds like it may be related to your application links. Here are a few things that may help you out: Atlassian's Applinks troubleshooting guide: https://confluence.atlassian.com/applinks/troubleshoot-application-links-755338283.html Applinks Version Compatibility Matrix:…

@Jeremy Schrek, That is a lot of date fields.... Like Nic said, that date fields are constrained to that specific section of the issue screen. The only option I can think of is to use text fields for your dates. You won't get the nice calendar popup but you will been able to arrange them on different tabs. .pd
