Hi @Matthew Park Welcome to the Community! You can create reports with Butler to email people every morning with all the cards that are overdue using a schedule command. You might also like to look at the Creating reports with butler help page, which might give more information on getting Butler to create a report. I would…

Hi @Barrie Fox Unfortunately, once a board is closed, it's closed. The other option, would be to have a list that your boss could see, with each card being a link to the board that you've completed, but the boards would still need to be open for that link to work. I have got around this by putting a Z in front of my…

@RenoT - You might like to add your answer regarding teams as an answer rather than a reply to the original answer, then @gavel_balazs_damit will be able to mark the answer as accepted :)

Hi @Trish Bernard Welcome to the Community! Are you using the 'Card Aging' PowerUp? If you disable it, you should get your cards back. If you screenshot all the PowerUps you have enabled on this board, we can narrow down which one is misbehaving! Esme :)

Hi @naviera.calidad Welcome to the Community! The simple answer is, it totally depends how it was originally attached to the card. Could you attach a screenshot so that we can see what you're trying to download? If it's a jpeg, for example, if you open it then you can right-click on it and one of the options is 'Save Image…

I don't think I have a single favourite book! Anything and everything by Sir Terry Pratchett (STP) is always a win. I own all of them and read them over and over again. I can't pick a favourite, I love all of them, the characters, the plot, the suspense, the one-liners, everything about all of them! I loved 'The Long…

Wow @Alice you and are are so in-sync! I had a 'jobs' board as well! It had lists like 'applied' and 'interview' and things like that. When I didn't get one, I had a 'feedback' list where I put all the feedback that I got after the interview for the next time I used custom fields a LOT, everything from salary to hours to…

Unfortunately, because the base Butler rule is 'when a card is added to the board' you would have to add the card to the board before you could run anything on it, and even then, there's nothing within 'rules' that would allow you to open the card straight away. Sorry :(

Hi @chirofun Welcome to the Community! There are a number of Chrome extensions that change the card colour depending on the label colours that you have attached to the card. It might be this one: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/card-colors-for-trello/nodlpencjjlohojddhflnahnfpfanbjm?hl=en Or this one:…

Hi @LouAnn Trischler Could you upload a screenshot so that we can see what you mean? :)
-
Yay! I'm glad it'll work for you, woohoo, get ticking!! ✅✅✅✅✅

Hi Angel, Ok, I've had a thought! Would a simple rule like this work for you: Which would mean the minute you ticked all of them off, they would untick ready for the next day and the card would stay the same so the iOS shortcut would still work. Let me know if this is what you're looking for, if not, I'll have another…
-
Hi Angel, I'm just cooking tea at the moment, give me a bit and I'll see what I can come up with on the Butler side. I use shortcuts on iOS as well (aren't they a marvel?!), so I'm sure between the 2 of us we can come up with something! I'll get back to you after dinner :)
-
I know that you mean @Alice! I'm the same with Microsoft Office - we use it because we've always used it, but there are free options out there that do most of the same things; Google Docs, Sheets & Slides and Apple's Pages, Keynote and Numbers, depending on your preference there are probably cheaper/free ways to do…

You're welcome @Alice! I think sometimes with the hustle and bustle of the day/week/month/year, we can lose sight of things that we accomplish, no matter how big or small. If it's important to you, whether it's dealing with depression and getting dressed in the morning, or the Atlassian Awesome Authors badge, if it's…
-
I'm a Canva fan as well @Alice but I think because I use everything Google, and I can save the Slides documents that I make as well as the .jpg files, I can always go back and add new individual slides to the presentation which will keep all the 'master' versions together and if I ever want to go back and change them,…

Hi @Angel Menendez There is a way to do this with 2 Butler commands that run one after the other. The first would be to have the card archived as soon as all the checklist items are completed. Which would look something like this: That would mean that as soon as the morning habits list was completed, Butler would…

I agree @Tim Keyes the 'Friend of Taco' badge is amazing and I'm working towards the Awesome Author Badge too! I only write about Trello, as that's my home base and I live in it! I might expand into other products in the future as I get more confident with them, but Trello is my bag!

Hi @Ingrid Lohr Welcome to the Community, great to have you here! Unfortunately, the native Mac App doesn't have the ability to have a grid view, so if this is something that you need, maybe a browser might be a good alternative. If you're using Chrome though, there are loads of helpful Chrome Extensions which might help…

Hi @Alexander Kern I'm glad that worked for you! Can you accept the answer so that other people who might search for the same question, know that this works? Thanks! Esme :)
-
Hi Emma, You should be able to use a 'trigger card' to make the magic happen! This is just a rough draft, but this is what I think it should look like! Of course, you'd need to add the list name or board name or something like that to the rule trigger, otherwise it'd be searching all over the place, but you know best how…
-
No problem at all Andy, the Community is always here if you need a hand :)
-
No worries! The only thing that might go wrong is the attachments. I don't have a clue how Trello organises attached cards when there's more than one; numerically, alphabetically, chronologically, not a clue! If you run across a problem (I would do a few tests with test cards to see how it's attaching and organising) then…

Right, this is what I would do if it were me! Stay with me here, this is gonna get messy! We need to give Butler something to work on in the secondary board, you’re right, there’s nothing that we can do in Butler to make it pick the next card in the list...unless...we make a new Butler command in the secondary list to take…
-
Right, I have a plan! Woohoo! Can you screenshot a picture of what the original Butler command does, or if it's the same as mine let me know, because this is going to be a little bit creative! :)
-
Hi Emma, Again, utterly amazing video! I know exactly what you mean and what you want! It's such a fantastic way to explain everything! Thank you so much for the link! I'm just about to dish up dinner, give me a bit and I shall see what I can think of! At the moment, there's nothing that will do what you want, but I'm…
-
Hi @Andy Oliver Welcome to the Community! Can I ask, if you're the only one using Trello, why do you need to be added to every card? I use Trello solo as well and I'm not 'on' any cards because the whole board/s is/are mine, so any & all notification come through to me (as I'm the only one with access), so I was just…
-
Thank you @Michael Demetria I love being part of the Community and I'm working on several articles at the moment to give back to the Community (as well as 2 series that I'm in the process of drafting), so I'm definitely #allaboutthecommunity!
-
Thank you Emma! No, you're a star for putting a video in your question! Utterly wonderful! If you're satisfied that my answer answered your question, worked and does what you want, could you mark it as accepted, please? That way, when other people have the same question and search for it, they are aware that this is an…

Hi @judith.huysmans Welcome to the Community! Could I just check that your colleague has confirmed his account? He should have received an email with a confirmation link/button on it. If he hasn't then this may be causing the problem. Additionally, what role has he been added to the board as? I look forward to hearing back…
