Random, but mighty useful!

Hi @Rachel Wright - I'm trying to get to as many events as I can this week, it's my first (and only) Summit (because I'll probably never be able to get to Vegas!), so I'm trying to fit in as much as I can! I decided a while ago to be more intention (not minimalist), and only buy things that we need or are useful, or to…

Hubster keeps on about an electric window cleaner, I can't see the point! I always clean them and they're perfectly fine. I keep telling him, if he has a problem with how I clean them, maybe he should do them instead!!

Hi @Kevin Thank you for your reply! Have you thought about splitting the checklist up? For example, I have a kitchen cleaning card, on that card I have multiple checklists that I've split into 'zones' If I had this as one checklist it would look massive, so I've chunked it. Would something like this be more manageable? I…

That's adorable!! I love it!

That's awesome! We're the same, we've decided to only give gifts that are useful or edible now! Hence my plastic toppers. Mother and I go to the theatre a lot so we buy tickets for each other, or as my birthday is 2nd and hers is 7th, I'll buy 2 tickets for a show for her and I and she'll do the same 5 days later.

Ooooooo, definitely more random than a Soda Stream but equally cool!
-
Same! We bought these last year:

Hi @Chris Jensen Welcome to the Community! Could you a Custom Field? You can organise by Custom fields if you have the PowerUp enabled. Maybe you could indicate on the back of the card, in a custom field the specific order that you'd like, and then you would be able to order by that? Hope that helps, please feel free to…

Hi @Yves Pacaud Welcome to the Community! I personallly use the Card Repeat PowerUp, which means you make a single card and then set how often you'd like it to repeat. This is really useful if you have certain information or checklists that are the same each time. For example, I use mine with a chores list, every day we…

I'm quite taken with my stretchy lids, especially for leftovers! I've used them on half a swede as well and they kept it quite fresh! Mother (and the rest of the family) used to laugh about how many pots and lids I had, then I started organising the house and putting things in them (like random screws) and using my Dymo…

OMG I neeeeeeeeed that veggie peeler!

I am sooooooo there!
-
Hi @Iain Dooley Thank you for adding that, I hadn't thought about doing it that way! I'll remember that in future!
-
Very true! Nanny bought a wall ornament for Mother that looks like this and now it's hanging in our house because Mother passed it onto me:
-
We've got one of them! It's still in the box under the sink because I never get the chance to catch anything!

I'm probably in a very small minority, this is my first Summit, and I can't travel to the US from the UK normally (due to family commitments), so this might be the only Summit that I can ever attend, so this is awesomeness for me! I've started scouring LinkedIn for people to connect to that I've 'met' in the Community,…

Woohoo

Ooops! Sorry @Ondratra O for the misunderstanding! Mine is the same: I'm missing 5th April too! How very strange! I'll see if I can raise this with Atlassian/Trello peeps!

That's awesome @Jimmy Seddon 💟

Hi @Fapstronaut If this answer helped and fully answered your original question, could you please accept is so that others searching the Community with the same question know that this works? Many thanks

The other way to do it would be to have a 'holding board' where all the following months cards were stored. You could set up a single Activity card and use 'attach' then 'Trello' to attach the secondary cards to them. Then they would be fully editable, but not on the board. Once a month, you could move them onto the main…
-
Hi @MB There isn't a way to do this natively, however, you could use the Card Repeat PowerUp to do the same thing. You could set up one card with everything that you want to be able to see every month, then repeat that card every month (or whatever frequency you wanted). Doing this would also mean that if something new…

Hi @[deleted] Welcome to the Community! If you open the card and scroll to the bottom, there's an 'actions' list (usually next to the comments section on desktop), which looks like this: You can click copy then select the board and list you'd like to move it to, you also have the option to keep the comments and change the…

Hi @Floortje So are you using the calendar PowerUp and then using the iCal subscription? If this is the case, the information will sync according to the settings set by Google. I found this helpful article on Using Trello with Google Calendar where it states: Not seeing updates in your calendar? Changes made in Trello…

Hi @Kevin Welcome to the Community! I've just spent a good hour searching around in my Google-Fu and my Trello checklists, and I can't find anything or any way to add an item in the middle of a checklist. I know that your question is a little old, but I thought that I would try! Did you ever make it work? If so, I'd love…

Hi @[deleted] Welcome to the Community! It looks like this extension was updated on 7th March, so has this been sorted out since the update? Is this the extension you're talking about? TrelloExport :)

Hi @Tomás Rivas Welcome to the Community! Could you tell me what you're doing to download the document? When I click on a PDF document on my card, I get a box all around the outside and when I move the cursor I get a download button on the right that looks like: Please let me know if this helps :)

Hi @simon.b Welcome to the Community! Can I ask a quick question that will give us more information? Are you signing into Trello through your work email or through a personal email? :)
-
Hi @GrayDwarf Thank you for your input! Although I would say that the Chrome extension you mention isn't questionable, it's actually really useful. If you have a feature request, feel free to email feature-ideas@trello.com. There are other ways to contact to submit a request, the documentation can be found on…
