Hi @David Quiram At a high level it would go like this: by using the {{issue.Summary}} smart value, the automation repopulates the existing summary. Then by added {{issue.duedate}} (or in your case, one of your custom date fields) you get the date after the Summary. You could simply do a rule for each field or use an…

Hi @Remco de Wit Welcome to the community Assuming your in Jira cloud, read this: Add color to issues on your Advanced Roadmaps timeline | Jira Software Cloud | Atlassian Support if not, read this: Coloring issues on your timeline | Advanced Roadmaps for Jira Data Center and Server 3.29 | Atlassian Documentation

Thanks @Rohan Swami so from what i can tell, I could safely rename now (in Production) and continue to update as the full functionality is rolled out. When is the hierarchy feature likely to be released?
-
Hi @Rohan Swami Couple of questions; * Should I see the Issue Hierarchy in our free (test) instance of Jira currently? and is it the renaming of that hierarchy that would change the Epic panel (in the backlog view) to Feature? * For Jira Premium, is the Issue hierarchy not present because the "Advanced Roadmaps hierarchy…

Does your Rule 1 have this ticked in the Rule details? "Allow rule trigger" Check to allow other rule actions to trigger this rule. Only enable this if you need this rule to execute in response to another rule.
-
OK. first rule should be the "Working" part of your 2nd screenshot. The bit that updates the Parent when a sub-task has had its provider ID updated. 2nd rule should be something like the below. Note: I don't have a provider ID field so used components. Just replace the "Components" with your field. Also the smart values…
-
Yes @Stefan Salzl I recall having a similar reaction 😲 upon finding the add/remove operation. Enjoy!!
-
Hi @Alexander Wayne Welcome to the community! Your "not working" branch is because the rule is triggered by a sub-task, the "For: Sub-tasks" will not work because there are no sub-tasks of the sub-task (i.e. trigger issue). So, I would build a 2nd rule for when the parent issue is updated (by the "working" part of your…
-
Am I missing something? Can't this be done as simply as: you just have to make sure you select the "Add/remove" operation.
-
No, not a bug. the field simply takes red once it hits the date.....there is no built in logic to do that conditional on which status/status category or column it is in. Which is why I suggest you create that logic, if it is important to you not to see the due date post moving to done. The only downside might be; you will…
-
I would make an automation rule that removes the Due date as part of the resolution process. That rule could also leave a comment reporting whether the due date was overdue at resolution or not.

And how many dependencies are there at the story level (of these datasets) that should be showing? In your plan in the "Dependencies Management" view, how many stories are filtered in there?
-
@Seth Mason you can create a field and configure it how you want, you just can't call it Priority. As @Tanguy Crusson says, Priority is a reserved (System) field that isn't available for Product Discovery (Team managed) projects. Some suggestions for alternate words, here: PRIORITY Synonyms: 21 Synonyms & Antonyms for…

What I recommend to people who insist on using Microsoft products 😁 is.... From the webapp version of, let's say Powerpoint. Copy the URL and paste that into Confluence or Jira. This way, if anyone clicks the link, it: * launches in its native app (web version of) * Makes use of any permissions and version control at the…

Hi @Sari Are there stories and sub-tasks visible in the Plan issue source/s? If so, do they have the relevant linking to be visible in Plans (i.e. which link types are configured as Dependencies in Advanced roadmaps (ask an admin if you don't know or have access to check the settings.
-
Hi @Lara Arthur I would recommend using the built in Automation for Jira instead of Scriptrunner for this. But regardless of automation tool, Epic cannot be selected as a sub-task issue type, because it isn't one. High level guess of what the automation might look like below. Where customfield_10009 = Parent link and SAFe…
-
OK, so what you need to do is enable the "Parent link" field in your Jira instance. As that is the field used to achieve what you want from within your Jira Epics. It works just like the Epic Link field does but it sits on your Epics and can be used to link to the Initiatives. I would recommend enabling the Team field…
-
OK, sounds like a "version picker" field. Which is not a supported field for AR. See: Enable custom fields used in Advanced Roadmaps in Jira | Jira Software Cloud | Atlassian Support
-
Hi @Lynn welcome to the community!! Ultimately you want (and can have) The Initiatives as a level above your Epics. Here is how: Configure custom hierarchy levels in Advanced Roadmaps | Jira Software Cloud | Atlassian Support
-
Like @Brijesh said. try reading this to help get you started: Configure custom hierarchy levels in Advanced Roadmaps | Jira Software Cloud | Atlassian Support

HI @Lance Wadman Welcome to the community!! As far as I am aware, Advanced Roadmaps will give you a warning about that kind of thing, but someone has to do something about moving them (manually). If you wanted that to happen automatically, it can be done via Automation for Jira. High level, unconditional example of how to…

As @Anna Poppe says....plus! if you want a distinct sub-set of each project you can create a filter, or number of filters so that just the relevant content from each project comes through. That said, this may require a additional level of data to pull such a myriad of data from multiple projects, if they are not all linked…

Hi @Manish Shah Welcome to the community!!! What are you using as the Issue Source for this plan? Are the mission stories part of that dataset? (You may well be doing this, but...) I would suggest using the Board (that has all these Sprints and backlog) as the Issue source, then all of that data should come through. If (as…
-
Hi @Anna Poppe I presume your "target version" field is a custom field that you (or someone) has created? If that field is a free format field, then it would be deemed an unsupported custom field for an Advanced roadmap plan. Although we can now edit the Description field, free format fields cannot be added into a plan to…

Hey @Yashid Mohamed Glad to have helped. If you could "Accept answer" that would be great. As it helps others with similar questions know that this answered your question. Cheers Curt
-
Hi @Evgeniy S_ I think @Pramodh M means to do it like this (and just select Sub-task as highlighted below)
-
Thanks @alice lowah In that case I would recommend talking with the Admins, or if you are one, then studying the issue types, and their relevant schemes and permissions for insights. Sorry, I only have access to Cloud so can't even try to play around to assist. Good luck!!!
-
Hi @Yashid Mohamed Welcome to the community. To do this, simply copy the template (or page) [as in Ctrl-A followed by Ctrl-C] then (as long as you have the permissions to get there) go to Settings (the cog in the upper right of Confluence)/Global Templates and Blueprints and click "Create new page template". Paste the…

Via Rest API is the only way i know of currently. I am sincerely hoping that the soon to be released Automation for Confluence will mean such a trick can be done in a much simpler UI based solution. Only other suggestion would be, now that we have Embed a Confluence page to any product using Smart Links (atlassian.com) it…

Hi @Baqir Ali Welcome to the community! I'm not sure what that screenshot is of, but it isn't Advanced roadmaps. So talking with the vendor would be the best place to start (or known power users within your organisation???) That said, I have fears for any tool being able to visualise over 120 000 tasks. Atlassian recommend…
