Okay I was initially excited for horizontal tabs but because I switch between JWM, JSM, and Jira Software, the context switching is just too jarring. While it's minimal, the loss of space in the main section of the page means that I don't see as much of the timeline view as before, or the calendar view, which felt cleaner…

Hello @William Chambers Have you tried using the "Field Value Changed" trigger for an automation rule? You can specify which field to listen for then use a condition that checks for any 6 of the 8 values you mentioned before performing any actions. Here's some more info if you're curious, but it sounds like this is what…
-
Hello @심 여울 and welcome to the Community! You can view other users' automation rules by going to Global Automation (need at least Jira administrator access). Hope this helps!
-
Hello @Priyanka Shukla and welcome to the Community! Currently this isn't possible with the assignee functionality, your best bet that I can think of is to create a quickfilter that checks for tickets assigned to #1 OR #2, however this quickly falls apart if you have a larger team. Is there a reason you need to see…

Hi @Daniel Martin and welcome to the Community! I feel ya on whether you need a dedicated issue type to capture what is essentially a task or to-do item for your team. I'd ask yourself the following questions to determine if you need a separate issue type: * Are spikes processed differently than stories or tasks and need…
-
Hello @Michael Gold , we aren't sure what you are specifically asking for here. If you want to know how to read this query let's break it down: * category = DEV - You can categorize projects by setting the project category field at the project level. In this case, look for all Jira projects categorized as "Dev" * Assignee…

Just had this event last night before I knew about this! But there were people that appeared online: 1. Picture 2. Lansing, Michigan 3. Demo: Comparing Company-Managed and Team-Managed Projects

Hello @k_casey and welcome to the Community! Unfortunately, it's not possible to add additional fields at the header level when you're configuring swimlanes, so you wouldn't be able to see the Epic the story is associated with unless you go into the issue details. Would grouping by Epics be better?
-
Can you show me a screenshot of what your Create Issue screen looks like?
-
Sure, To associate other issues to your Epic, you'll have to set the Epic Link field: Do you see the "Epic Link" field when creating a Task?
-
Hello @Rico Suhanta When you created the task as part of testing, did you set the "Epic Link" field? Based on the automation rule you posted initially, it looked like you were expecting to set the "Epic Link" field when creating a task. Also, you'll want to make sure that when you're creating an issue it's of the "Task"…
-
Thanks for the response, You didn't give me much to go on so I took a stab on the trigger but you aren't fixed to that trigger if that's not what you need. If you change your "Issue Fields Condition" to an "Advanced Compare Condition" and use the smart value {{issue.epic.Epic Name}} for comparison it should work (just…
-
Hello @Rico Suhanta and welcome to the Community! I am not sure what your automation rule looks like, but if you are looking to create a sub-task in an Epic and to use the name of the Epic in the sub-task you could do the following configuration: When you add an action, select the "Create sub-tasks" option, then the "Add…
-
Hello @Evelyne Schmid and welcome to the Community! When you say "delete" did you simply remove them from the epic (and they still exist somewhere) or did you delete them from Jira? If the latter, then you'll have to recreate the tasks. If the former, then if you want to change issues linked to an epic to subtasks of…

Awesome! If you wouldn't mind accepting this answer so that others can benefit from it in the future that would be great! For your query, do you need to have parantheses around the last clause: "target end" > startOfDay(-5) and "target end" <= endOfDay() OR ("target end" < -5d and status != done)
-
So the total number only reflects how many objects are stored in Assets. If you wanted to decrement that number, you would have to remove that object if it was assigned (which I personally wouldn't recommend). Additionally, you could lean on an Asset Query Language (AQL) query to look for unassigned licenses, and whatever…
-
Hello @Herve Wiederkehr and welcome to the Community! A screenshot of your rule will help the community debug the issue! In the meantime, here's what I'd look for: * Is your rule limited to a project that's different from the project you expect to see the change in? * Are there automation rules that you have created that…

YAAASSSS For horizontal tabs and YAYYY for Dark Mode! If Dark mode is on I'm presuming that whatever background color chosen for the business project is going to disappear?
-
Hello @Karl Jackson and welcome to the Community! There's multiple date functions that you can use, such as startOfDay(), endOfDay(), startOfMonth(), endOfMonth(), startOfWeek(), endOfWeek(), and more are available here. If you want to query for issues that are 3-5 days before the due date, you could do something like: *…

Hello @Tiago Machado It doesn't show up in the backlog in that section in particular because that will only show story points on a scrum board and original estimates on a kanban board. If you want your custom "Estimation" field to appear in the backlog view, then in your board settings > card layout you'll want to add the…

Hello @v.ezersky Because Insight is integrated into the Jira platform, any existing user accounts should be selectable in your user type field. No need to do an import unless you want to manage users that don't have Jira accounts. At that point, you'll want to use a text field.
-
Hello @mhoyosga , I'm not sure what the "cronogram" tag is - my apologies. The timeline feature is only available for Jira Work Management (business) projects, so it can't be turned on/off on other types of projects. You would need to create a business project and transfer issues from your current project to the business…

Hello @Dustin and welcome to the Community! Those issue types are configured in issue type schemes. If you are a Jira Administrator, select the Settings (cog icon) in the top right of the navigation pane (next to your profile picture), select "Issues", then select "Issue Type Schemes." From here you can find the scheme…

Hello @v.ezersky and welcome to the Community! Whew this is a loaded question so I'll do my best to be clear in my answer :) - I also don't know how much you have configured so skip over what you don't need. You'll want to create at least 2 object types, one for staff and one for hardware. Your Staff Object Type should…

AHHHH this is great! Do guests consume a license?
-
What authentication method did you log in as? Can you try logging in through an incognito window?
-
Those options in the left-hand dropdown are customizable, so you can add options as needed. You can maintain that list if you're a Jira Administrator or higher by going to "Jira Administration > Issues > Issue Linking". If this works for you please accept the answer so that other viewers can benefit!
-
Hello @Marc Isikoff If I'm understanding your use case correctly, in the action for creating a story in a different project, select the "Linked Issues" field, choose your field type, and select trigger issue. This will link the newly created story from your automation rule with the issue that caused it. Hope this helps

Yes, as long as you don't restrict access for the Contractor section to your internal staff. By default, your entire space should allow internal/contractor staff to access the space. Then, by restricting the two top level pages to just internal staff, you're merely restricting access to fewer people in certain page…
