Hi @Adil Bulsara _ADIL_ 1) Refer to this video that shows you how you can write information to the child tickets and vice-versa: https://youtu.be/DcPYrw-Puus Automation is the recommended option in your use case. 2) You can make the automation global and assign it to all projects. Or you can only have it for select…

Hi @Victor Feria Welcome to the community! Yes, the object schema from the assets Management can be used by separate projects. At the end of the day, they are custom fields that are added to your project screens. Regards, Fabian
-
Hi @Eric Chang That would be nice. I recommend you start a request here and see if Atlassian feels whether this is an important feature: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa Regards, Fabian
-
I agree. This is an issue that Atlassian needs to address in the future. You can use third party plugins as well like herzum that would accomplish the full functionality you are looking for which provides all the customizations and approval button.
-
Yes, you could do that too if you don't want to use plugins. But, validators would be after the fact. So it confuses people (i.e. why is it available and when I click it doesn't work).
-
Hi @k_cast Out of the box you may not be able to do this. I would suggest you use eazyBI reporting for Jira that allows you to create custom reports that you mention above. They have great support team and can help you set the report that you need. @eazyBI Support Regards, Fabian
-
Hi @Phil Bustin Could you please share a screenshot? Thanks, Fabian
-
Hi @Phil Bustin You can use conditions to it, but I believe they are available only via third party apps: https://innovalog.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/JMWE/pages/68878455/Hide+transition @David Fischer Regards, Fabian

Hi @Damian Martin Another option is to use a plugin such as Integration+ that we use for some our clients. When you have an incident, the Incident Management channel get notified of the new ticket. Then the agents can spin off a linked task and from that task, the plugin lets you create their own channel specific to the…

Hi @[deleted] Welcome to the community! Would you be able to share the screenshot of your rule and audit results? Is the story always the same? Also, can do you have the permisions to link tickets? (ie.g. can you link them manually?) Regards, Fabian
-
Hi @Benjamin Leidner You can use Jira Automation to customize your notifications for the request types and various roles. Take a look at this video tutorial: https://youtu.be/ccWTIgdnQqE If you use automation, you may have to disable some of the customer notifications that are set by default. Regards, Fabian

@Trudy P Claspill it's actually Spanish. You May want to translate that again. Regards

Hola @gestion didcom Bienvenido a la comunidad. ¿Podés por favor explicar qué es lo que querés hacer? Con la info que mencionas, parece que el ticket type que querés crear no existe en el projet mondayjira. Saludos
-
Hi @Umar Maroof The rule doesn't work because you are looking for a parent for the epic which does not exist. So that's why is empty. You can try creating a branch to go under the tickets in the epic (https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/what-is-rule-branching/) Then use a JQL condition to check whether the…

Hi @Travis Dorado Welcome to the community! I haven't seen this feature out of the box, but there may be some plugins that support this in the marketplace. I use https://kuula.co/ to host my 360 images and you can try embedding and they work on my website, but I haven't try them on confluence. Good luck
-
Hi @Umar Maroof Can you share a screenshot of your audit log to see what the error is? Regards
-
Hi @Valerie Capasso Can you share the formatting you are using for the date import? is it M/dd/yyyy?
-
Hi @Karl Jackson You could use the jira automation to calculate the end date. You can have a field that contains the info about how many resources are required in this example 2 and then use smart values to determine what the end date would be. Jira Tickets can only be assigned to only one person so the assignee field will…

Agree. So, the best option as I mentioned earlier is to disable the rule...

Hi @Michael Hart It's messy because you will have different IDs every time you move it. You also have to consider the workflows between the projects. If they are not the same you will always have to map the move the proper status. Now, your comment about leaving that receptionist ticket open. It's more about process and…
-
Hi @Michael Hart * For your process, moving issues between projects for assignments becomes very messy. * My suggestion is to create a linked task/story from the bug ticket in the portal to the development team. Then the dev team can work on the fix and the bug ticket stays in "dev team investigating" status. * Use the…

Thanks @Peter Preston For ITSM, affected services is one of the key fields used for incidents and change requests from our customers. Is this something that can be enabled for unlicensed users in the future? The only option we have right now, would be to manually enter the values in a select field, then use automation copy…
-
Hi @[deleted] I don't think this is possible with jql out of the box. You may want to look into eazybi reporting where you can put extra logic or some advanced jql plugins. Good luck.
-
Hi @Robert Love For components follow this: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/organize-work-with-components/ Good luck
-
Thanks for sharing. Either way they are not subtasks of a parent so that's why the post function doesn't work. Use this video as an example, it will be the second rule and instead of subtasks you are looking into a parent-child relationship. Link: https://youtu.be/DcPYrw-Puus I hope this helps.
-
Based on the pictures, you are using the Parent and Child link from Advanced Roadmaps. (I see a Story and Epic) The post-function you have only works for parent and subtasks relationships. I think that's why it doesn't work. I suggest you use Jira Automation instead where based on a trigger you can copy to the children.
-
Hi @Robert Love Check which custom field "select a system" field is. Once you do that, you can go to the custom fields configurations and update it. I'm assuming you are a sys admin. Regards
-
Hi @Matt Houck Can you share a screenshot that shows the relationship between the tickets? Also which relationship are you using on the post function. You may be using link relationship type (parent of) instead of the parent-child link that is used for advanced roadmaps for example. Regards
-
Hi @Noam Baum Can you share a screenshot of your structure and some of the configurations you are using? The more info you share the better we can help you. Regards
-
Hi @Jeffrey Bistrong Unfortunately, there are no other options. Your method does the trick, unless you to manually sort them with the arrows which is annoying. I wish they would have a drag and drop feature instead. Cheers
