Hi @Fuji Have you tried this tutorial here? Link: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Automation-discussions/Jira-Automation-Complete-Video-Guides-on-how-to-Sum-Up-Story/td-p/1741948 Regards, Fabian

Hi @Charlie Buege Unfortunately none of the features can be done out of the box. I suggest you look at 3rd party plugins instead. We use Rich Filters, eazyBI, custom dashboards for Jira, or dashboard hub. Not all features that you request can be done in one plugin, but it will make your life easier. Regards, Fabian

Hi @Adrian Zurawski Most likely it's a permissions issue. People who create tickets via slack are considered " "customers" so they can't access the tickets in your queues unless you provided them with access to "Browse Issues" in the permissions scheme. However, once you do this, you will consume a Jira license which you…

If the add on doesn't let you, you got your answer. To be honest I would not use the macro at all. They are probably not doing any development on it to improve it.

Hi @Amit Ambekar please provide screenshots of your setup.

Hi @Amit Ambekar Welcome to the community! Take a look at this video tutorial that explains how you can use the assets field and also link them to other assets custom fields to filter data: https://youtu.be/8oRZhGGB-ns?si=nZiZEPzAW5wF1ZOf Regards, Fabian

@Sheri Widler That should be ok. We use it to store "services/products" and they can be used in various projects so that's the biggest benefit. And you can add attributes such as Product Owners, Support Groups, etc.

Hi @Rahul Johari Unfortunately, most of the good reporting plugins are paid. Good Luck.
-
Issue link hierarchy is another that I use: one: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211022/links-hierarchy-full-dependency-and-link-viewer?tab=overview&hosting=cloud You can also use reporting tools which are more visual: - EazyBI - Structure
-
Hi @Killian Moser The issueFunction option in JQL is provided by ScriptRunner for Jira by Adaptavist is not part of Jira's default functionality. So you can't use it unless you purchase the plugin. There are also plugins that can perform the same functionality. Good luck

Hi @Bibiana When you clone the ticket, the ticket will go into "Open" Status, so yes that would work.
-
Rich filters is good too, but I don't know if it will sum up the stories that belong to an epic though.
-
Hi @Jeremy Spencer Welcome to the community! Unless you have a new customfield that captures story points completed for every sprint in your epic, you will not be able to recreate this table. I suggest you look into eazyBI which may be able which will allow you to track information more dynamically. This is an example,…

-
Hi @Some Guy Welcome to the community! I would recommend a reporting plugin such as eazyBI that will pick exactly what you are looking for. Example: https://eazybi.com/accounts/1000/dashboards/27385-time-tracking Other plugins may be able to pick it up to.

Hi @emir.omeragic If you want to have a different screen, I would suggest you have different sub-task issue types. One for compliance and the other one for budget approval. Then you can choose which screens/fields you would like to add and you could use the same workflow if the same process is followed. After they are…

Hi @Robynne Barnard Refer to this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWU4NGMrgYQ It's summing up Story points through link relationships and you just need to replace it with a your custom field. Regards, Fabian

Hi @Vijayan Rajasekaran Welcome to the community! Is the incident being created in Opsgenie or are you using JSM? If it's coming from JSM, yes you can do all three. There are a bunch of integrations you can use with JSM.…

Hola @Wilber Ballestero La configuración parece estar correcta. Verifica que el ticket que estés creando sea el "sobre de producción digital". Yo cree este video que te puede ayudar tambien pero creo que tenes todos los pasos correctos. Repasalo igualmente: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3Lb1T4liGw y subscribite.…

Hi @Katherine Lord Can you confirm whether the Reviewed By field is a user field or select field? The easiest way to implement this is through one of the plugins which will save you so much hassle which is JMWE. The customfield can be a user field and then use the following condition:…

Hi @Jacob Take a look at the following video that shows you how you can obtain any smart value for a custom field. Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pnUWAY-dMQ Regards, Fabian

Hi @Meinhard Welcome to the community! If it's a company based project. use the old way it's set up in the issue screen scheme. Have a separate view screen and edit screen configured. Then if the custom field is not in the edit screen, you will not be able to edit the custom field. I hope this helps.
-
Correct, as long as you are creating/cloning tickets in another project it doesn't need the global admin rule. You only need to make sure that whoever is executing the rule (user/automation) has access to create ticktets in the other project.
-
@Han Kong Yes, it's possible you will have to set the HTML tags for the table accordingly.
-
Hi @David Leal Unfortunately, you will have to get your sys admin involved. Any time you are using a condition, branch, action, in another project it has to be a global configuration. Regards, Fabian
-
Hi @Derek Fields _RightStar_ A very interesting use case. I'm afraid that for your specific scenario you will have to create 20 custom fields. 10 user selections and 10 assets fields. Regards, Fabian

Hi @David KLIMAS Take a look at this post: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/How-can-I-change-an-issuetype-on-an-existing-issue-via-the-REST/qaq-p/801750 Regards, Fabian

@Pablo Bianco The contracting period will have to be a ticket with custom fields for start, end dates, any custom field and any contract information including how many hours they are supposed to log in a period. You can then use Plan time and actual time logged with tempo timesheets on the ticket itself. You can configure…
-
Hi @Pablo Bianco Did you try Tempo Timesheets? You can then use eazyBI to create the reports you mentioned above. Link: https://www.tempo.io/blog/2017/tempo-timesheets-reports-and-eazybi Regards, Fabian

Hi @S S In addition to creating a new workflow, you also need to create/copy a new workflow scheme. Then apply it to the project you want this to apply to. If you don't have a new workflow scheme you will be overwriting the existing projects.…
